I wanted to like this place, finally I was there while they were open. Stopped in at 2pm the girl behind the counter raved about the cinnamon rolls, I ordered a Plum and Cheese, a Plum and a Coconut Custard. The cinnamon rolls was dry and tasteless, popped it in the microwave for 20 seconds, made it softer but still no flavor tossed it. Then the coconut filling was nice but the rolls was hard and dry bread like, the Plum and cheese cake came with a 1/2 tsp of plum would have been better if roll was not hard and dry and there was more plum. Last instead of a plum kolache she gave me a poppy seed, I usually like poppy seed but this concoction was Horrible we tossed it. Maybe if you get there at 6 am the product is fresh after 7 hours sitting out uncovered on the shelf not a good thing in my opinion. Have to say the plum Danish at Starbucks is way superior and the Mcdonald's Strawberry Cheese pie is a better tasting product. I've been wanting to try The Kolache Café for a while now - I drive by all the time and finally stopped in. So glad I did! We were greeted by Jessica and Smokey, both super friendly and welcoming. Jessica was awesome -- she asked if we'd been there before (we hadn't) and then excitedly explained what a kolache is and gave a bit of the history behind them. I'm huge on customer service, and that interaction alone had me hooked before I even tried anything. The café itself is clean, cozy, and smelled amazing the moment we walked in. There were so many options to choose from, but here's what we tried this round: * Chorizo, Egg & Cheese - A great breakfast kolache with chorizo, eggs, and cheddar cheese. Not spicy, just flavorful. Definitely getting this one again. * Brisket, Mashed Potatoes & Cheese - Comfort food vibes. It was okay, but I'll try something different next time. * Southwest (Ham, Egg, Cheese, Salsa & Jalapeño) - So good! The mild salsa and jalapeños add just the right amount of kick. Tons of flavor. * Smoked Sausage & Cheese - A Texas classic and a fan favorite for good reason. The smoked sausage with melted cheddar and jalapeño hit the spot. Overall, the service, the food, and the atmosphere were all fantastic. Jessica truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and it's rare to see that kind of genuine enthusiasm these days. So delicious omg. The bun is sweet but the insides are savory and so good. Omg. I've been wanting to try this place for a while since it's a a different cuisine and I'm so glad I did! The Czech pastries are really good. I've tried a couple savory and a coupon sweet. The service is always friendly and happy to help. Check times when open. We missed them the first time. The sweet kolaches are good- most can be ordered plan or with cream cheese. The cream cheese cuts the sweetness a bit. If I had to rate this place on service alone they would still get all five stars. One of my coworkers suggested this place for lunch one day, but it's about 20mins from my job. I decided that we would try this place out for our team lunch this week. I was happy that I could place the online order directly from their website and a 3rd party. When placing the order for me and my team the online order menu showed the chicken and cheese as out of stock which is what I and one of my teammates wanted but we picked something different instead. They have the option to do 1/2 dozen Kolaches where you can split sweet and savory. The only downside was that I could not select multiple of the same savory Kolache. If I wanted two hotdog kolaches I had to order separately instead of usinf the 1/2 order option. Also there was no option for the Apple Caramel Kolache to choose so I had my coworker who wanted that one to pick something else. When I went to pick up the order, it was almost ready and while waiting I saw that they had the smoked chicken and cheese as well as the Apple Caramel Kolaches. I mentioned to the team that I was unable to select those items on my onlline order and they made it right. Autumn and Mercedes were super amazing with there smiles and great customer service. The store was very clean, bright and open. When I walked in, the fresh baked bread smell hit my nostrils and made my stomach growl. Once I made it back to the office I set everyone's order out and we dug in. There were seven of us and only one of my coworkers had eaten from this restaurant before. Another had had the Poppy Seed Kolache from when his grandparents used to make them so that is what he ordered. He said they were really good. The rest of us thoroughly enjoyed our first time of Kolaches. There was only one order that had a slight error, but that's fine I ordered two of the brisket, mashed potato and cheese and one other with jalapeno. They were really good, better than what I imagined. The bread was so so fluffy and fresh. For my sweet Kolaches I ordered an oreo cookie, chocolate Bavarian, and maple and pecan. My favorite was the maple and pecan. Thanks for a great experience. I look forward to trying some different Kolaches on my next visit. read more

We haven driven by this place many times and always said we were going to stop. Well we finally did and we should have stopped much much sooner!!! As we walked in, the restaurant was clean and smelled fresh with the smells of warm kolache. The counter staff was at the counter with smiles and eager to help! The food is fun to eat, I like them warm. I have tried several savory and sweet kolaches. Unfortunately for me they are a bit pricey, for the amount you do get to eat, so they are more of a treat for me. However the restaurant is always clean, the service is also really good. And I've never had trouble with my orders. The best sweet one in my humble opinion is the oreo cheesecake. Yum! read more

Joannie might love Chachi but I love Kolache! We ordered three sweet kolaches, three savory kolaches, and a cinnamon roll. The Al Pastor kolache was a bit deceptive. I was expecting pork from a tromp with some pineapple and instead, it was shredded meat, too much spice to the point of bitterness, with corn and beans. Other than that, the other kolaches were good. I really enjoyed the sausage and gravy the most with pizza being second. The bavarian cream kolache was also a favorite. Come here and explore their vast menu. I've been wanting to try this place for some time and I'm glad I finally got a chance. The restaurant was cute and super clean. There is a drive-thru but since it was my first time I decided to go inside. The employees are very friendly and cheerful. There are a few different kolaches to pick from. I decided to get the sausage and gravy kolache. I also wanted to try one of their sweet kolache so I got the apricot and cream cheese. I preferred the sweet one over the savory. Overall, we think the kolaches are tasty! Our favorite ones are the potato egg and cheese. It's definitely a great option if you need a quick meal or are on the go and need something to eat in the car. There were so many options. They all looked great and you can't beat the location. Service was fast and kind. They did a fantastic job remodeling the building and the inside looks fresh and clean with plenty of seating. Coming from Texas I was super exited to see one of these opening up in my neighborhood. We ordered 4 different types and a cinnamon roll with bacon on top. We had a good Sunday breakfast basically. I was excited to taste test! We got a delivery order & it came with tracking, service was exactly what they said it would be. Looks very clean inside and the food seemed to reflect that! The service through the drive through was very slow. I was the only one in its. They were out of a lot. Understandable it's the end of the day. I ordered some fruit kolaches.
