Check times when open. We missed them the first time. The sweet kolaches are good- most can be ordered plan or with cream cheese. The cream cheese cuts the sweetness a bit. The savory are my favorite. We ordered 6 different ones and had a buffet, sharing bites. Service was good with explanations. The bread is awesome - firm with a very slight sweetness.

If I had to rate this place on service alone they would still get all five stars. One of my coworkers suggested this place for lunch one day, but it's about 20mins from my job. I decided that we would try this place out for our team lunch this week. I was happy that I could place the online order directly from their website and a 3rd party. When placing the order for me and my team the online order menu showed the chicken and cheese as out of stock which is what I and one of my teammates wanted but we picked something different instead. They have the option to do 1/2 dozen Kolaches where you can split sweet and savory. The only downside was that I could not select multiple of the same savory Kolache. If I wanted two hotdog kolaches I had to order separately instead of usinf the 1/2 order option. Also there was no option for the Apple Caramel Kolache to choose so I had my coworker who wanted that one to pick something else. When I went to pick up the order, it was almost ready and while waiting I saw that they had the smoked chicken and cheese as well as the Apple Caramel Kolaches. I mentioned to the team that I was unable to select those items on my onlline order and they made it right. Autumn and Mercedes were super amazing with there smiles and great customer service. The store was very clean, bright and open. When I walked in, the fresh baked bread smell hit my nostrils and made my stomach growl. Once I made it back to the office I set everyone's order out and we dug in. There were seven of us and only one of my coworkers had eaten from this restaurant before. Another had had the Poppy Seed Kolache from when his grandparents used to make them so that is what he ordered. He said they were really good. The rest of us thoroughly enjoyed our first time of Kolaches. There was only one order that had a slight error, but that's fine I ordered two of the brisket, mashed potato and cheese and one other with jalapeno. They were really good, better than what I imagined. The bread was so so fluffy and fresh. For my sweet Kolaches I ordered an oreo cookie, chocolate Bavarian, and maple and pecan. My favorite was the maple and pecan. Thanks for a great experience. I look forward to trying some different Kolaches on my next visit.

We haven driven by this place many times and always said we were going to stop. Well we finally did and we should have stopped much much sooner!!! As we walked in, the restaurant was clean and smelled fresh with the smells of warm kolache. The counter staff was at the counter with smiles and eager to help! I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese kolache and the maple pecan cheesecake kolache. Oh my were they delicious. Sorry I didn't take pictures as they looked to good and I just had to dig in. This is definitely not a one-time stop! I even signed up for the rewards program

    Cinnamon roll. It's massive.

Joannie might love Chachi but I love Kolache! We ordered three sweet kolaches, three savory kolaches, and a cinnamon roll. The Al Pastor kolache was a bit deceptive. I was expecting pork from a tromp with some pineapple and instead, it was shredded meat, too much spice to the point of bitterness, with corn and beans. Other than that, the other kolaches were good. I really enjoyed the sausage and gravy the most with pizza being second. The bavarian cream kolache was also a favorite. Come here and explore their vast menu. Lots of seating and friendly service!

Indulge in the traditional fruit and sweet Czech kolaches, and savory Texas-style creations filled with your favorite breakfast and lunch fillings. I've been a fan since trying their Kolache at the one near my office on I-10 and Ray. Love they are expanding to both Chandler and Mesa - this being close to my best friend! This new location is beautiful and spacious to enjoy with family and friends. Funny story, I thought this was a location to meet and learned they have two new locations (I needed to go to Mesa lol)! Great to see their success and their expansion as I've enjoyed them for almost two years. This location had a great selection and the staff member was very friendly for me being the first customer of the day. The potato, egg, and cheese Kolache was wonderful as always! Definitely check out the drive thru option in the future as well; what a convenience!

I've been wanting to try this place for some time and I'm glad I finally got a chance. The restaurant was cute and super clean. There is a drive-thru but since it was my first time I decided to go inside. The employees are very friendly and cheerful. There are a few different kolaches to pick from. I decided to get the sausage and gravy kolache. I also wanted to try one of their sweet kolache so I got the apricot and cream cheese. I preferred the sweet one over the savory. I will definitely be back to try some of the other kolaches.

Overall, we think the kolaches are tasty! Our favorite ones are the potato egg and cheese. It's definitely a great option if you need a quick meal or are on the go and need something to eat in the car. There were so many options. They all looked great and you can't beat the location. Service was fast and kind. They did a fantastic job remodeling the building and the inside looks fresh and clean with plenty of seating. We're excited to have The Kolache Cafe in our neighborhood!

I'd been meaning to try this location after seeing a few of my fellow Yelper friends review this place. Just like they said, this place did not disappoint! Seasoned well and cooked perfectly to order for both the over easy eggs and medium rare steak. Breakfast perfection! - Patty Melt: My boyfriend said it was delicious, and the small bite I tried was great. You can tell they season their burger patties. We arrived for breakfast and the place was packed. Even so, we were seated within a few minutes. Menus were brought for us to peruse. For a starter we both had a large glass of cranberry juice. $3. Emphasis should be on the word large, as in most places you would get a small glass for the same price. Companion ordered the "Fresh Start", which is a big bowl of oatmeal which comes with cranberries, raisins, walnuts, brown sugar, and milk ($6). Companion was unable to finish it all. For myself, I had the Hawaiian omelet which had ham, bacon, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese. While I must admit I have never before had an omelet with these ingredients, it was delicious and big. I could not finish it all. The coffee was bottomless and the service was excellent. Unlike many other places that serve breakfast, we were made to feel truly at home, with friendly people all around. We will be going back again and again, possibly for lunch next time. This is a new favorite place to eat for us. Sanitation was good and food came out quickly. 5 stars.

We had to wait a bit to get seated. I decided to try their biscuit and gravy with bacon and 2 eggs over easy. The bacon was kinda chewy with unrendered fat which was a turnoff. Even bigger disappointment was the biscuits and gravy. The gravy tasted so odd and off putting and the biscuits were huge but very dry and fell apart. Had a bite of hubby's French toast and it was the worst I've ever had. If they weren't so busy I probably would have mentioned something to the server but really wasn't in the mood. Still love the theme of this restaurant but the food was a major letdown today. Service was not the greatest probably due to how busy it was.

You can sit inside at a table, at the bar, or at one of the few patio tables on a nice day. We sat inside for this first visit, and a friendly server took our order. We chose to order from the breakfast menu, and I ordered The Camper: Crispy double-dipped fried chicken thigh smothered in savory gravy and topped with cheese, three slices of Nueske's peppered bacon, and an over-easy egg, served on a housemade butter biscuit. I went with the corned beef hash + pancakes breakfast, and it delivered that old-school diner energy. The hash was hearty and filling, eggs cooked just right, and the pancakes? Soft, golden, and exactly what you expect--nothing fancy, just solid. But let's be clear... the real reason you come here is the pie. Village Inn doesn't play about their pies, and the banana cream pie is the headline act.
