The first issue was poor order fulfillment: I received the wrong item. When I contacted customer…read moreservice, they acknowledged the mistake and offered to send the correct item at no additional charge. Unfortunately, the second issue was poor follow-through. Twelve days passed without the replacement order being processed, and it wasn't until I contacted them to ask about it that anything was done. What was especially disappointing was the company-centric solution they offered as compensation: a 20% off coupon that required me to spend more money with their company. In other words, I was offered a discount on a future purchase to compensate me for an error they made on my current order--and for failing to follow through on correcting that error. I also asked if they could simply expedite the replacement order to make up for the inconvenience. That would have been a simple and reasonable solution, particularly in an era when technology makes it easier than ever to process and expedite orders quickly. Instead, my request was actively denied. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company handles those mistakes. In this case, I felt the priority was protecting the company's bottom line rather than making things right for the customer. Based on this experience, I would be cautious about ordering from a company that appears willing to put its financial interests ahead of its customers' experience.

We were here today to buy a couple fake Poinsettias for the house, which provided some holiday cheer, without putting our cats in danger with the real thing. We also picked up some putty to hold some breakables down. Michael's had what we needed, as short as the list was. There are items from all the Scandinavian Countries! Scandinavia includes Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland! There are lots of knitted handmade items reasonably priced. I also fell in love with all the import items. I purchased Lingonberries and a Dahlahast coffee cup from Sweden! Pia informed me that she will be getting in more items as we get closer to Christmas! Hoping she will be stocking Swedish Marabou Chocolate!! Pia also had homemade Scandinavian bakery items and has an order list if you would like to order some Scandinavian cookies or baked items. She had samples of some baked goods on hand. I am now really upset that I didn't purchase some Swedish Lace cookies. I did end up ordering a knitted infant Viking Helmut Cap from her!
