Great sweets place if you need a sugar rush but just note the expensive price tag…read more This store is probably the only dedicated store in tobermory for fudge, chocolate and other sugary treats. They have a large variety of fudges and other sweets. Definitely on the pricier end of things but it is the only one in town selling these kind of items. We got the ice cream here. It's very busy during tourist season and have about 3 ppl working just for ice cream to move the line along. The 'single scoop' is actually really big and you can get 2 flavors from it (very confusing since 'single' means one but hey, get to try 2 flavors and it's pretty big!) The flavors were quite good. We got the st Jacobs Apple pie which has chunks of Apple pie in the vanilla ice cream. The Apple and cinnamon flavor really compliments the vanilla ice cream. The chocolate peanut butter was very rich and decadent. The two flavors also complement each other really well. Service was good - pretty quick and efficient. Stop by here for an ice cream - you won't regret it!

I got the strawberries & cream (2/5) and the NSA chocolate coffee (4/5). The strawberries & cream was a bit artificial and too sweet for me but still had a creamy texture while the NSA chocolate coffee had a strong flavour. There isn't too much of a difference between the scoop sizes (kids/single) kids is just slightly smaller but you can barely even tell so just go with kids size and save yourself $1. The prices are quite high as it is in a touristy area and 3 cones (2 singles & 1 kid + 3 waffle cones) were about $22. It is also a confusing process to get your cone and proceed to pay as there is no guidelines.

A must if you're in the area!…read more Honestly one of the best ice cream places I've been to. The scoops are so generous, a single scoop is plenty (and I usually get a double). I tried the blue raspberry sorbet (dairy free) and lavender lemonade first to share. Both were delicious that I had to go back for more! I'm so glad I did because I got pistachio almond, which was the best flavour imo. I find many places don't do pistachio well. Sometimes it tastes "soapy". But here, it didn't have that and tasted like real pistachio. That's probably because they had tons of crushed pistachios and almonds in the ice cream. So good!! Highly recommend this place. They have other treats like milkshakes, sundaes, banana splits, butter tarts and more!

There's popcorn, nuts, candy and ice cream flavors in four different freezers hosting a plethora of choice. There are also different choices of cones to have from fancy to plain as well as sprinkles and add-ons for your ice cream. In another freezer you will notice that there are frozen pies Frozen cakes for small and large groups. They also have beverages of all kinds. Grandma's Beach treats is definitely busy at 1014 Mosley Street it's all a buzz with kids teenagers and adults. Get your treats and go home or sit outside on the picnic table and enjoy

They have a patio so…read morewe opted for that since we were a bigger group and the inside didn't have that much seating. The patio was unfortunately in the shade and it was a bit windy and cold, but our hot beverages helped keep us warm. Get there early if you want pastries as they do sell out. If you plan to dine in, you pick a seat and then order at the cafe and settle up then they bring you your food. There's a place outside for you to place your used dishes after you're done. The lunch menu (after 11am) is limited. The croque monsieur ($19) was the size of a regular slice of bread and came with a salad. The roast beef sandwich on baguette was the tiniest sandwich I've seen at a cafe. For almost $15 we thought it would be a much bigger sandwich. The sizing of it would have been more appropriately advertised as a kids meal. We thought the meal was very much overpriced for the portion sizes we got.
