The roast beef sandwich on baguette was the tiniest sandwich I've seen at a cafe. For almost $15 we thought it would be a much bigger sandwich. The sizing of it would have been more appropriately advertised as a kids meal. We thought the meal was very much overpriced for the portion sizes we got.

While I waited for my order, I watched one of the cashiers go out in the pouring rain a handful of times to bring items out to people who had ordered at the drive-thru and were asked to park to wait for their items. So, yeah, that would definitely annoy the drive-thru people. But it was no quicker inside so don't think we were getting great service while you waited in your cars. I ordered a big mac and I have to say that this was the one of the most poorly assembled big macs I've ever had. Firstly, there was hardly any sauce, and that's a cardinal sin when it comes to big macs because the sauce is its saving grace (it's certainly not the tasteless meat). None of the layers were lined up. They were all (ALL) askew to a fairly considerable degree and, consequently, most of the lettuce was in the box rather than in my burger. The lettuce issue probably owed as much to the lack of sauce, which should have "glued" the lettuce to the buns, as the lack of alignment. The bathroom was out of toilet paper and was in a state of general disarray. I certainly hope I don't have to come back to Meaford anytime soon, but if I do, I definitely won't be coming back here if I have any other choice.
