Some good authentic Indian food. It's a really good hidden gem in Ashland. The butter chicken and the chili chicken are really good.

Sitar has the kind of welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The dining room was bustling with energy--business professionals, tourists, and what seemed like quite a few regulars (the staff greeted several diners by name). That genuine sense of community and hospitality stood out right away. The $15 lunch buffet is a fantastic value. I especially enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala--tender white meat in a creamy, tangy sauce with just the right amount of spice. The Vegetable Pakoras were perfectly crisp, and the Vegetable Korma had a lovely richness balanced by a subtle sweetness from nuts and raisins. Everything paired well with fluffy basmati rice and warm, pillowy naan. Dessert was a treat: gulab jamun and jalebi added a sweet, indulgent finish. While the interior could use a bit of updating, the food and hospitality more than make up for it. In a city where Indian cuisine is scarce, Sitar is a true find. The staff are kind, the flavors are spot-on, and we'll definitely be back. I'll remember to order some mango lassi and try one of the soups next time!

When the mill opened it was wonderful. The place could improve if the management actually held the staff to a higher standard, but as it's about to be closing I genuinely doubt it. When you ask why did the mill close? Come reference this. -inconsistency. -unhelpful, rude staff that act like I broke into their house and am asking them to serve me food from their own fridge. -food ranges from terrible to okay. -you will wait an hour on average for the simplest food. It's always sad to see a locallly owned restaurant shut down. Unfortunately something being "local" doesn't justify inferior food and service. Wish things could be different!

The shelves were adorned with an extensive collection of books, while other charming items lined the walls. Their menu offered a diverse range of dishes, catering to various tastes. As an avid Eggs Benedict enthusiast, my choice was an easy one. My companion opted for the breakfast bowl with bacon, and both dishes were exceptionally tasty, with well-balanced seasoning. I couldn't help but notice a steak sizzling on a lava rock, promising a delectable culinary experience. However, the service was slightly slow due to the restaurant's popularity. Despite the crowd, our waitress was incredibly kind and even offered an apology for any inconvenience caused. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or brunch when visiting the area.

For the meal, they have a Latte menu with all sort of flavors available (hot or cold). I had the delicious breakfast wrap with gravy with banana nut bread. My husband had biscuits & sausage gravy with a long donut chaser (dessert). I loved the quaint feel of this place. It felt warmer and more inviting than most cafes I've been in. This was a great experience. The owners served the food and made sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. Chefs kiss to everything about this cafe. They did NOT disappoint.

Flavor was great though Perfectly mid: the potato, the breadsticks, and the Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese is just kraft with extra shredded which to me is perfect. The potato needed maybe a full salt shaker of salt and extra sour cream, but everything else about it was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The breadsticks were just good but nothing to write home about. Would come back for this: footlong chili cheese dog. The hotdog was genuinely really good. Perfect amount of juice and flavor, and paired with the chili and mustard was peak. However, I do not think I could finish it by myself and did split it with a friend. We also had to eat with a fork and a knife, but that was fine and honestly better. Water: tap.
