Joined when we moved to keller but rarely went - my credit card was stolen so the monthly direct debit was declined since they didnt have the new number. They never sent me a letter or anything, just sent my account to a collection agency and dinged my credit! I will never recommend them due to their business practices. read more

When I started going here initially I really loved it. The weights were never crowded and basketball was usually open at certain times. I'm really sad to say that this place is terrible now. They let children run around all over the place and when you are paying 40 bucks to go here and literally avoid little kids with horrible manners you kinda wanna throw up. I will be switching gyms at the end of the week to get my money worth, this is really just a place for lazy parents to drop off their kids. It's awful. Don't go here if you want any kind of relaxing workout. Staff doesn't care at all and let's unauthorized clinics practice in the gym so annoying for patrons that pay!! I have had it. read more

The yoga class by Anderia (good instructor) on Wednesday and Thursday get filled very soon and if you not get there really early there will be no spot for u. Spoke to the manger and she said that they have received many complaints regarding this issue but they have NO solution. That is very unprofessional. read more

Keller needs another recreation center. This place is always packed, especially the basketball/volleyball courts. The crowding sucks!

This place is a joke. First of all, one would think that with the limited number of people to pull from, this gym would be like the other gyms in town that give you a free couple of days to come check things out w/o having to pay or obligate yourself. But noooo! They told me I'd have to pay $15 if I wanted to WATCH (not participate in it) one of the cardio classes. I've never heard of anything like it. So, b/c I had to pay I thought I might as well take the class. It wasn't worth the $15 dollars as the so called advanced step class I took earlier this year was horrible. The instructor, Judy, was doing moves I'd learned 10 years ago in intermediate step class in Amarillo. The childcare stinks if your child is over 4 yrs. old. All the kids are in a small room together w/nothing for kids 5-9 yrs. old to do. Nor does it smell very sanitary. The cost is rediculous considering what other gyms close by charge. The pool is just ok. The best pool is at the Natatorium just down the street, and it's cheaper for swimming lessons for kids than Keller Pointe. They seem to take a while getting broken machines (treadmills, steppers, etc.) repaired once they go down. Even though this gym is relatively new (less than 5 years old I'd say) some of the machines feel old and warn due to lack of maintenance. I really tried to give this place a chance. However, it just didn't live up to my expectations of what a decent gym is. I'm no gym snob, but I've been to many gyms over the years due to my husbands job transferring him every few years or so. So, I've had a chance to experience what a good gym is. This ISN'T one of them. I was just really disappointed after hearing it was supposed to be a good place to workout and for family activities. Needless to say as soon as my membership was up I left. read more

Great facility- I like the variety of classes, the cleanliness of the locker rooms, Andrea (yoga instructor) is great. Water aerobics classes are a great way to get non-impact exercise. Staff is friendly & helpful. read more

Funny how I have been going to this place for almost a year and my child has come with me every time I have gone. Today, I was told that she was too young and not allowed in the facility with me. What's funny is when a child is 10, you can leave them on un-supervised at the swimming pool. At that age, they can't even come in and sit while you work out where you can see them and supervise them. The rates here have gone up quite a bit, and that coupled with the lack of customer Service and friendliness of the employees means I will not be renewing our membership. read more

great place for the kids to get swim lessons. The teachers are pretty kind and patient but help the kids feel comfortable enough in the water to push boundaries. The facilities are clean and conductive for class and play time. Prices for two weeks for both my 8 year old and my two year old were reasonable. I really liked the indoor pool area to get out of both the sun and the rain. read more

Currently a member here. It's my favorite place to work out, but definitely has a few things to work on. Pros: Lots of space Indoor running/walking track Tons of machines/weights Plays current music/TV Attentive staff Indoor/outdoor pool Clean locker/bath rooms Indoor basketball court Personal training Offers unlimited exercise classes with membership Cons: Some staff can be a little pushy/rude, but not all! Parents seem to think they can just let their kids run all over the place. I almost ran into one once. Keep your kids out of the way please! Not really the staff's fault, but people tend to eat near/on equipment. So weird and gross! Can be pricey compared to other gyms. I can't stand working outside in the heat so this place works for me, but I can see how it may not be everyone's favorite. read more

Terrible customer service! From management on down, the attitudes seems to be as difficult and unfriendly as possible! When you call and speak with somebody and then ask to speak with a manger, they are always "busy" or "in a meeting". Our family has been members for 6 years and in that time I have seen it go down hill. For the price we pay for membership, I would expect better. They have removed the regular upright bikes for recumbent bikes only. Changed the mats, so that they are too short and very heavy to move around. There's not enough variation and selection of group classes. Once our membership is up, we will not be renewing. read more

Keller Pointe is a very nice facility. Good for individuals to work out, or also as family entertainment (especially the pool, which is great for small children). Child care is available at specific times, although unfortunately none at all on Sundays. If you're just looking to work out as an individual, the volume of cardio machines and weights is not as huge as you'll see at some other major gyms. However, I rarely had situations where I wanted to do one type of cardio machine and none were available. read more

We live within walking distance to Keller Pointe and love this gym. They have really good updated equipment, friendly staff and a variety of programs. The only thing I really wish this gym had was a dry and wet sauna in the locker rooms. read more

The City of Keller has a very nice and modern recreation center for its residents. My family and I have enjoyed 5+ years of membership at this facility which has indoor & outdoor swimming pools, indoor basketball gymnasium (with glass backboards, very important for jump shooters like me ), elliptical machines galore, free weights area, and more! Most of the staff are younger peers, but are helpful, courteous, & polite. The membership fees for an individual or family are extremely competitive, and actually cheaper than most clubs especially if you consider the fact that the equipment are well maintained and often replaced with the newest stuff available in the fitness market. There are family bathrooms as well as the regular ones with lockers and shower stalls. Everything is kept clean as you would expect. I would give this gym a 5 star review, but it's one & major drawback are the hours. I personally wish the hours were longer for personal convenience, but otherwise, no complaints here. read more
