This was an impromptu celebration due to family being in town for the holidays and my daughter's birthday. The establishment offers a promotion of one free hour in a medium room (which accommodates up to 11 people) with a minimum $100 spend. I asked whether we could pay the difference to use a large room since we had 12 guests, but was told that was not an option. We were happy to proceed regardless and paid for one hour in the large room. When our paid hour ended, some guests had left. I asked if we could then move to a smaller room and use the complimentary hour. I was told no rooms were available, but that we were welcome to remain in the same room for the additional hour. We stayed and were careful to leave exactly at the one-hour mark. Unfortunately, when I received the check from Tristan, it included charges for two hours of the karaoke room. When I questioned this, his response was extremely rude, stating that "I had a choice not to stay." This did not reflect the conversation I had with our waitress. I explained that I was disappointed this was being disputed, especially considering our approximately $500 tab, but the issue was not resolved respectfully. While we did enjoy ourselves overall, the customer service was very disappointing. Sierra was polite and genuinely tried to de-escalate the situation, which was appreciated. However, due to Tristan's complete disrespect, and handling of the situation, we will not be returning. The food was just ok, the derive was slow (we were told there was only 3 servers out of 8) but we were there more for the experience, which was obviously skewed because of the poor customer service.

What's left behind feels generic, transactional, and hollow. Then there's the decision to go cashless. I'm not sure who thought that was a good idea, but it's incredibly tone-deaf. It's inconvenient, exclusionary, and says more about your priorities than you probably realize. For a place that used to feel local and grounded, it now feels like it's trying to be something it's not, and failing. Willie's had something rare, real character, built over decades. Watching it unravel this quickly is disappointing, to say the least. We won't be back, and that's not something we say lightly. Good luck, truly. A lady named Jen acted on her emergency training, the staff called 911 (which I didn't end up needing but they were on top of it in case I did!) they helped me get up, clean up and checked on me consistently. Super odd, should have been humiliating, not fun experience turned into something completely different. I cannot say enough good things about these people. I can speak for the upstairs staff but if everyone is as amazing as they are... then I have complete faith this whole venue is phenomenal. While I don't live near here, I'll for sure be back.
