The Joint (Upland) seriously saved me. I have cerebral palsy and it's extremely painful. I suffer from pain everywhere, especially in my neck and shoulders. Since my last chiropractor closed due to Covid, I had to find a place that was open. I was very weary and scared to try a different chiropractor because of my condition. My pain was so awful I couldn't take it, and gave The Joint Upland a try. I am SO glad I did!!! I have found my new chiropractor from here on out, and I'm extremely happy. I've been going 3x a week for about 3 weeks now and I have had 70% of my pain gone already. This is lifelong pain from a physical disability, not temporary pain or pain from an injury... 70% GONE within 3 weeks. That's life changing!!! I now fall asleep fast, stay asleep and wake up feeling like I can take on the world. My mood has changed with my deep decrease in pain. If I could give 0 stars I would. Just don't go here! There are other nearby locations with really good customer service. The management here only cares about money. The main chiropractor here is incredibly rude. He wouldn't even let the receptionist help me - he came from the back, never introduced himself to me or anything, and starting giving me an attitude. I got transferred up here from San Diego on military orders and had 2 remaining (pre-paid) adjustments with the San Diego location. This location would not honor those two pre-paid adjustments. In fact, when I showed the two cards, the chiropractor said that those are "donations as a thank you for signing up." No... I purchased those. This location refused to honor those two pre-paid adjustments yet I went to another nearby location today and they honored them in a heartbeat. Also, when I went to a nearby location today and told them what happened here, the worker said he considered applying for this location but heard bad things about the customer service and management. It's definitely worth driving a few extra miles to spend your money on another franchise that will actually deserve your money! Lastly, the reply below clearly shows they will lie for your money. There was no scene and I did not make any customers uncomfortable. In fact, all the customers in the waiting area were making conversation with me, thanking my family for our service, etc. The manager acted like she was upset with how the chiropractor talked to me and said she'd have a stern conversation with him. Clearly, he lied and made up facts because they're now trying to say I created a scene. Wow. And the 3 options they are saying I declined- the manager told me that if I'm a lawyer I should know how to negotiate. I'm sorry? I'm a paying customer who purchased a service. I was helped by Dr. Casady, who gave me a full examination and adjustment and then went over all of my problem areas. They made recommendations for my continued care and answered all my questions. This location and visit today was by far the best chiropractic adjustment I've ever had! Dr. Stone took his time to explain things, tell me and teach me what exercises to do and how as well as how to correct my posture and how to sit/not sit, plus I walked out of the joint for the first time ever with zero pain (usually I walk out feeling better but in some pain). I went in for my scoliosis and I needed paperwork done and I did not get x rays and I told them I have scoliosis. The Chiropractor said I have misalignments. I do not have that I have scoliosis. They did not fill out my paperwork right at all. read more

I'll keep my review straight to the point. (Disclaimer-Never had back issues, surgeries, major accidents, or medical treatments) Went in for an adjustment on 6/17/21, I am not a member, and left feeling worse. Dr. Bowen proceeded to sit me down and ask "why have I not followed the doctors recommendations?" I answered with I have moved quite a few times within the last few years. I am a habitual walk-in, have been to various locations, and will go get adjusted when I feel tension, slight discomfort, or stiffness in my back as I am 100% sedentary for my line of work. After the less than welcoming introduction, he proceeded to provide a "treatment plan" and indicated if I do not come back to the joint within 30 days, I will need to provide x-rays on a CD and a radiology report otherwise I will not receive treatment at any of the joint locations. After making notes on the computer for my profile, the adjustment provided was less than desireable and less than effective. It took him all of two minutes. I got up, paid $39, and left the facility. Upon getting into my vehicle, I felt intimidated and somewhat threatened. As stated earlier, I am a non-member and was under the impression the joint was designed for customers to seek treatment at an affordable cost and come in for an adjustment when they felt they needed it. After this encounter, clearly this location is lacking customer retention and resort to alternate tactics for clients to purchase treatment packages. Also, wouldn't you want people to pay the non-member price as the number of visits is not discounted? I am not looking for the location to reach out as I have already taken my business elsewhere.
