What a stupid place. Whatever chiropractor was back there decided it was best practice to take two walk-ins that arrived much after me. His reasoning was that being a new client I would take longer to examine. I was already there 20 min! Then there was a ruckus between the receptionist and the chiro. I feel very bad for the receptionist that had to take that verbal abuse, what an ahole. I ended up leaving, what a joke of a place. read more

The worse! They DO NOT care about their customers! All they want is the MONEY!! Please save your money and time and go somewhere else. My mom went in for the first time. Unfortunately, she did not have her glasses with her so wasn't able to read the papers.. The lady helping her said "don't worry I will read everything to you". The lady read "everything" but never mentioned she was signing a contract that she won't be able to get out of! My mom went today for treatment and they mentioned "she had to pay or else they will be sending her to collections". they were extremely rude about it! My poor mom trusted in this company and trusted that person helping her had read everything to her. Instead they took advantage and got her into a contract. I called and Rachelle was extremely rude .. she mentioned that they always read the contract.. Will this time they didn't. Rachelle Just kept dragging me down with this comment and told me my mom was wrong and it was my moms fault she couldn't see and her fault she trusted the company and the employee at this place.. what a shame on how they take advantage of people .. please go somewhere where you won't get scammed like this place. It was my first time at this particular location and I will not be returning. He asked me to slouch while stretching my neck out and didn't adjust my back other than using that metal gun looking device. When I asked him if he was going to crack my back he tried and I felt his hesitation and nothing cracked. Felt very weird. And I asked if he could try another part of my back he said he couldn't bc I was " inflamed ". I normally go to the Downey location and don't plan on changing that now. I recommend the Downey joint if you plan on getting a real adjustment. read more

Please don't waste your time going to this place. I paid for my son to get treatment here for the 1st month, which includes 7 sessions. He went 4 times, and he didn't want to go back again. The first time the doctor applied way too much pressure and hurt him, to the point where he screamed out in pain. The next 3 visits he was way too gentle, because he was afraid to apply pressure. The visits ARE ONLY 10 minutes long. Someone in severe pain needs a regular chiropractor. This was not communicated to us at all, before we paid. Nor was the fact, that they only adjusted the back, and not the full body. Once you pay, if you're not happy, they will never give your money back. Believe me, I tried. I would suggest saving your hard earned money, and spending it on something that will actually ease your pain. read more

I just had a session with Dr. Toshi and WOW! This is by far the most comprehensive session I have ever had. She is very thorough and explains the bone and muscle functions and has very useful stretches to work through to keep the pain at bay and you doing your best. I had a wonderful first experience at this chiropractor location. The staff and Dr. Thomas were extremely courteous which is always appreciated. Dr. Thomas did a fantastic job in addressing my back issues and adjusting it. Of course, I didn't feel 100% but that's only because I need more adjustments which I purchased the wellness package to help my back get better. However, my posture improved significantly after my first session and Dr. Thomas adjusted my back and stiff neck like no other chiropractor has in the past. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they didn't do temperature check which for me during a pandemic is a reassuring step especially when people are asymptotic. But there are hand sanitizers upon entry and the location is clean. I would definitely recommend this place. :) read more

I visited Dr.Toshi this week and she really helped me with my back pain I was very uncomfortable for a couple of days and after getting adjusted by her my pain was completely gone ! I felt like she was very precise in getting just what I needed . She was very knowledgeable and showed me a few exercises I can do at home to help with my posture and prevent this back pain from returning. She made me feel very comfortable I'm usually very anxious about getting my neck adjusted but she made me feel very safe and she was gentle with my neck and I'm glad I got my neck adjusted it was a great relief .I can tell she really cares for her patients . I saw Dr. Thomas at the Pico Rivera office after visiting my local Lakewood office; the drive is well worth it. Dr. Thomas listened empathetically to my concern points & how they came to be & in doing so he was able to offer some ergonomic solutions for my posture while studying long hours. He was kind, gentle & even supported his moves with acknowledgement of my weary body soon after the opposition adjustment by staying close & offered physical support at my front so I didn't fall off the table; my previous doctor left me to gather myself. Aside from the basic adjustments done by my previous doctor, Dr. Thomas took his time in also applying some pressure points to my right shoulder which is where I was concerned most. He had a great sense of humor while maintaining a professionalism that made me confident in his knowledge & confidence of his practice.
