Friendly, empathetic, patient, thorough, professional, reassuring.....These are the words that came to me when interacting with the doctors and the staffs from this location, definitely a place that I would recommend to my friends and family. read more

The Joint is a good place to get a basic adjustment. If you need/ want to know more about your back problems the chiropractor on staff will answer all your questions. Depending on who is working you get more or less time. I really prefer Dr Zeiter because he takes more time and is more thorough than others and does not just rush you in and out. read more

Had a great adjustment with Christopher Zeiter. He was very professional and he knows his stuff. I feel better.

Finally! I found a practice that does solid adjustments. Dr. Otoupalik spent time reviewing my complaint, numbness in my arm, explained his plan for treatment and after 6 visits I am numb free! The added bonus is the extra adjustments in my hips to keep me in line. Dr. O is very attentive and was careful to not force or over adjust. What a relief it is! Front office staff is extremely efficient and explained membership well. read more

My husband and I have been The Joint customers for awhile. We suspended our membership (or so we thought) while my husband went on deployment. My husband recently returned from deployment so we went in to the Point Loma location today to reinstate our membership only to be told the office staff actually had us cancel our membership and if we wanted to return to the clinic to be seen we had to pay a much higher monthly membership rate of 69. The receptionist who checked us in was not friendly or very helpful and really turned me off. I loved The Joint previously so I was not ready to give up on the services yet. We both paid the one time walk in fee of 39 per person today as my husband was in pain and got adjusted. After leaving I contacted The Joint in Encinitas and was very pleased with the outstanding service from the front desk wellness Cordinator Gerrie. She was able to look over our acct and see where she could help with starting membership services back up and resolve the billing issues that we encountered in Point Loma. The front desk area and clinic were very clean and looked great. No mess or clutter while she was gathering the applications and paperwork needed to finalize our membership. My husband and I left completely satisfied and very happy we found a clinic that was willing to resolve issues from the Point Loma location in a friendly and helpful manor. Thanks to Dr O, Gerrie and the rest of the team at Encinitas The Joint. You saved our rocky relationship with The Joint Clinic and have two happy members once again. I will highly recommend this clinic as Gerrie walked us through exactly what we should do and what should happen if we encounter issues or need to suspend our membership so that we don't get screwed again. read more

Dr. Kamsi is teriffic. He cares about his clients.I have sinced moved out of the area and I will miss going to him and that location. The staff there is great as well. I love the concept of The Joint. It is definitely worth the monthly cost. I wish I had known about this sooner. It would have saved me a ton of money and time. read more

Been going here for about a year and while hit and miss with the quality of the Chiropractors, i always get a great adjustment with Dr Adam Kleinberg. Most practitioners here seem to just go by the numbers to get you out the door. Once you get a practitioner that is in tune with your body and gives a great service, they move them to another location. Dr Adam takes his time to make sure you get everything set right. Have had a total of Three sessions with him since he arrived and each was very well done. Will seek him out in the future for all my adjustments. Great work Dr Adam K. As an aside, Dr Randy at the Seal Beach location is OUTSTANDING. read more

Not only do I get great adjustments at the Joint, but they give great service as well. Recently I had to freeze my account and a mistake was made and I was charged for two months. I was refunded my money and given free adjustments with no hassle! Congratulations to the Joint on 2 years of great service! read more

Dr. Brightwell and Jenn at the Encinitas location wasn't how I found The Joint Chiropractic but they sure are the reason I stay with The Joint and keep coming back. I have always do used this chain for maintenance but last month when I throughout my back doctor Brightwell was a key part to my recovery. I had over 10 visits last month and I'm glad to say I'm back to snowboarding scuba diving in and exercising on the daily. read more

I love going to the joint in Encinitas. Caryn at the front desk is always the nicest and makes sure to greet you when you go in. Dr. Terry Brightwell is so knowledgeable he makes sure to help me fit my posture and stretch so I'm not in pain all the time. Thanks The Joint ! read more

When I arrived at Joint Chiropractic I had almost given up on my passion of running. I was experiencing extreme pain in my hamstrings and very little flexibility in my hips. As a result, my daily runs had dwindled from 6-8 miles down to 2-3 miles of slow, painful running. After my first visit to the Joint, I experienced increased mobility with only a little soreness. After four weeks, I'm almost back to normal. I plan to fully utilize my membership. I am so grateful and excited! read more

I've gotten only the very best care from the folks at The Joint in Encinitas. I couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Brightwell, Dr. Boelq, and Dr. O (now at The Joint in Laguna) have all been highly skilled and genuinely interested in helping me resolve my issues. I love the "no appointment necessary," just drop in when you can system. I've never waited more than ten minutes in the waiting room before getting to see one of the Docs. And yes, the monthly plan is very affordable, which is nice. read more

Love this location and the wonderful people there! Dr. Brightwell is so gifted at what he does and my weekly adjustment is just superb. I do appreciate his recommendations in terms of exercises as well. To find the non plus ultra is not an easy task to accomplish but I have certainly found it at the Joint in Encinitas. Thanks so much! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS CHIROPRACTOR'S OFFICE!!! My husband went in for a hip/sciatic issue and left with a broke rib. We have been calling for almost 2 weeks and no one will return our call. All we want is the $118 he paid for 2 months advance service refunded, the $50 copay we paid when we went and had it x-rayed and reimbursement for his medication. He is in worse pain now than he was when he went there AND he is looking at 6-8 weeks for his rib to heal!!! We called corporate to said we would have to sue the doctor for malpractice. Every person we have spoken to at The Joint has taken a message because the owner is the only person who can issue a refund?!?!?! Do you seriously want to be sued rather than just paid us back what we are due??? We are asking for less than $200 back......You attorney is going to charge you more than that just to read the summons and reply. read more

Beware! I went to The Joint in the spring of 2019 for a back issue I was having. The chiropractor that I worked with recommended 4 visits and I thought this would work since I had chiropractic care with another provider and that time was recommended to come in six times and that was it. Little did I know that they had me sign up for ongoing wellness plan and where they could charge my credit card $59 a month for eternity until I came back in and told them to stop. Once I discovered all of these monthly charges on my account, I called to discuss getting a refund and of course they were not trying to hear any of that, even though I had not been back to their facility since my four treatments were completed. Another shocker is that they have packages for a fixed number of visits, which is what I thought I signed up for, and which would have made more since considering my recommended treatment plan, but apparently they are into over selling to their customers vs. fitting them with a plan that meets their needs. In any event, do you think anyone called me to remind me that I was on a plan or to see why I hadn't come in? No! But they sure as hell kept charging my card. And when I called back to get a refund after not coming in for over ten months, of course I was told that I signed a wellness agreement giving them permission to charge my account. I don't have the paperwork that I originally reviewed because I tossed it months ago, thinking I was done with my treatment plan, so why keep it. Boy do I wish I would have now because this is ludicrous! They had the nerve to ask me what they can do to make it better, even offering for me to come in for ten months worth of missed adjustments but giving me a refund was not an option. Unless you have a car accident or some injury, who has the time to go to a chiropractor four times a month forever? I am very disappointed in this establishment and will never use them again. I will not recommend them to my friends. With their old fashioned back and neck cracking, next time I'll go to a more modern chiropractor who uses less archaic methods and will recommend a specified treatment plan and not go rogue with my credit card because of a misunderstanding. The worse customer service ever!!!! read more

Be very careful, read every line of what you sign. I was told that I was signing up for a one month, 4 visit one time trail. Still being charged 69 dollars a month. Total rip off. Of course the person who told sold me this bunk no longer works there and those that are there now will not stand behind what was told to me. Hey, they did help my back pain but it ha cost me close to $400.00 so far for those 4 visits. read more

Great location! Front staff is always friendly and helpful. Drs always have us walking out comfortable and in alignment.

I am a new patient and had a great first experience! It was super easy and fast, the adjustment felt great and the doctor had wonderful advise. I will be back and be sending my friends and family! Thank you! read more

I had a fairly bad first experience because they told me to come back the next day. One of the managers reached out to me and explained the staff was short handed and offered for me to come back for them to make up for the experience. I'm glad I went back because the doctor ended up being very knowledgeable and helped my neck pain get better. read more

I love chiropractic care and believe in it 100%, I just tire of cranking out $50 to $100 for an adjustment along with waiting in line for too long. And then there's The Joint, a quality, affordable place open SEVEN days out of the week. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to make appointments around Encinitas for an adjustment, and the doc is always busy, or...simply not in...like, ever... This place is terrific for going into and getting an adjustment in record time. One of the guys there is called Alex and I personally think he's one of the best chiros I've ever had, and I've had tons.... I actually signed my wife up for $49, my kid for $39, and me for $29. Yup, I'm getting adjusted 4 timers as month now for $29. Can't beat that. This is the way chiropractic should be. If you're freaking out because you're a typical Encinitas person who is against franchises, dont be on this one. If you don't like the membership, simply cancel. Me, I'm hooked and I love being able to go on a Sunday for an adjustment. Awesome place! read more

I never had gone to a chiropractic place and thought it was the solution for my old back pain. At first the experience was good and I was attracted by the convenient location and prices. They asked me for an x-ray from my neck that they could not take as they don't have the equipment, but because they don't work with insurance, my policy will not cover it either. I am a stay at home mom of a restless toddler girl so making time to go there for the adjustments was difficult. They charged the second month automatically without previous notice getting me an overdraft so I cancelled the membership but well, you have to give a 30 days notice or they will charge you again other $50. I paid them but when I finally made the time to go, the month I had paid had already passed and also because the membership was cancelled, the sessions did not roll over. A complete mislead as I was never aware of the conditions of the service. Be sure to be explained exactly how it works before signing! read more

First the good... It's a good, affordable and efficient way to get weekly adjustments. First I was skeptical about a "walk-in" practice, concerned that there would be a long wait, but somehow whenever I've walked in, I've either been the next in line or had to wait for a maximum of 10 minutes. The bad is that during the year or so that I've been going to this location, there's been a inordinate amount of turnovers in both the doctors and the receptionists, making the service received hit and miss. I've been adjusted by several really good chiropractors but none of them have stuck around long enough to establish any kind of continuity in treatment. And I do believe that when seeing a chiropractor or any other health professional continuity (working with the same person) is key. There also seems to be no "standard or practice" and each chiropractor tends to perform their own "methods". One chiropractor used a "gun" device which I hadn't experienced before that was awkward, some are very aggressive, others are gentle yet effective. mu current favorite is by far Dr. Larry - unfortunately he's only there 2 half days so I have to work my schedule to get to see him. But I've seen progress and hope he'll stick around longer than the usual doctors. I had cancelled my automatic membership a few months ago, but have now reinstated it hoping that I can keep seeing this one chiropractor. The receptionist/front desk staff seems to have changed quite a few times as well. Some for the better, some for the worse. They're all polite, so no issues there, but it seems that there isn't enough training in procedures and practices so depending on who you ask a question, you're likely to get a different response. In fact this was one of the other reasons I had stopped my recurring membership as I was told that unless I cancelled at the end of the year it would automatically commit me to another 6 months. As it turns out, that wasn't the case and I'm able to continue on a month to month basis and cancel with 30 day notice (at least that's the newest information provided to me). In summary, it's worth giving it another few months and seeing if the current doctors do stick around. I was assured yesterday that the current doctors are here to stay. So fingers crossed. read more

My family loves The Joint! Not only is it the absolute best price in chiropractic care, but we've also found a chiropractor who does the most thorough adjustments we've ever received. We only see Dr. Kamsi, and he's the reason why my neck feels so much better. I've had adjustments from other doctors but it just wasn't fully what I needed. Dr. Kamsi is the best! You won't be disappointed! read more

DO NOT go to this place. After my second adjustment I woke up to EXTREME pain and could not get out of bed. I was forced to use a vacation day and ice my back all day. I stupidly bought a package deal and they refuse to refund me. I will never go back there again. read more

This review is specifically for Dr. Kamsi who is now at the San Marcos location. He is worth driving for. I am not familiar with the current/other doctors at the Encinitas location. read more

The Joint is the best chiropractic care if you are looking for a caring staff, convenient location, great price and peaceful environment. I love this place and I have received excellent care and a more than affordable price. read more

Caryn at the front desk is very nice and helpful. She cares about your situation and that's a great start to my visit. Dr. Brightwell is a real good guy who is a very talented Chiropractor and puts you on a program both at home with stretching and in house with very good Chiropractor techniques. The price is very affordable and you can can go to any office, and there are many of them all around the country. But the price while great is not the best part. The best part is they really know what they are doing and I feel confident that I will succeed and feel less or no pain in the very near future and will continue to go there for maintenance after that. If you have Chiropractor needs this is the place to go!! read more

Dr Brooks is great. Only adjusts what is needed and is thorough and understands movement.

I came to this location looking for the same excellent experience that I had with Dr.Moore before he left the escondido location. The reviews at this location were very positive and the location is fairly close to my home. The moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the professional front desk staff. The decor was nice and the wait was short. When I was brought back, I met with Dr. Kleinberg. He was very warm and personable. He listened to what I was having issues with and I didn't feel rushed. The adjustment was great and was relieved that my experience was positive and that I would have somewhere to go. Thank you Dr. Kleinberg, I looked forward to future adjustments at this location! read more

I have been under chiropractic care for almost twenty years. Out of all of these years of care, Dr. Brightwell is by far the best chiropractor I have ever been under the care of. Be it a sports injury or just everyday aches and pains I can count on the joint to help alleviate my pain and discomfort. The reception staff is also top tier and is always very kind and accommodating, especially Caryn. It's hard to beat the price and the staff makes this my favorite chiropractor office I have ever been too. read more

I was never able to see the chiropractor. They have a policy when you're a first time patient. Members have priority over new patients which could have you waiting all day even with an appointment. It's very discouraging especially when you're in pain. That policy alone deterred me from not visiting the joint anymore. read more

I recommend The Joint to anybody that will listen. Their pricing is unbeatable and a great variety of locations. Courtney is very friendly but also professional. She was very quick in emailing me statements to have my Health Savings Account cover the payments. I've been going here regularly for about a year and I've watched her impress many people with her quickness and efficiency. Dr. Kamsi is so nice and had a very caring nature to him. He takes his time and does different adjustments as needed. He also makes small talk about what's happening in your life and makes you feel that he is genuinely happy to see you. All around they are incredibly welcoming, helpful, and professional. I've also visited their Lake Forest location and was equally impressed. Please open a Carlsbad and Temecula location! read more

I gave this place another shot and they failed. Again. I have a kink in my neck so I left work early today to get adjusted here. And after driving all the way here, I arrive only to find a sign on the door that says they are closed for the day. This is at 4pm by the way. The posted hours say they are open until 7pm. This is the third time this has happened to me here. I'm done with this place. read more

This place has no clue what they are doing. I went with my husband for his back and after a few times going in his back was getting worse. He felt better when he stopped going so we wanted to cancel the service. So I call for him and a lady named Lyan told me that even if he canceled he would still have to make two more payments because it takes 30 days for it to be officially canceled and that my husband would have to come and sign paperwork. Then my husband calls and another named Angela tells me that he can't cancel his membership even though he can't afford it and they made his back worse. Their employees don't even know what how to run the place. It may look nice but when it comes to your back you don't want people cracking things when you don't even know what are lies and truths. If you want to get ripped off then this is the place to go. read more

Have sustained multiple injuries from this place after they adjusted my neck out of place. Have had to see a massage therapist twice after my neck was killing me after 2 visits. There are good and bad chirps here, so that's why I am giving stars. But there's no consistency. It's not worth the risk to me so I cancelled my membership. read more

This location of The Joint offers consistent, comprehensive chiropractic care and adjustments in a really convenient location. There's plenty of parking, very little waiting, and incredibly affordable plans for full family chiropractic care. The staff is always friendly and gracious and the practitioner is caring and compassionate with a firm yet gentle technique. He's great with my kids and they beg me to take them every week. I used to spend on two visits what it costs for my whole family to go to the Joint 4X a month. Five Stars! read more

Very happy with my adjustment from Dr. Kamsi, very happy with the prices too!!! Finally found a place with afforabke prices with out having to sign up for a 3 month contract and pay $1000-2000. Dr. Brooks is a great chiropractor. I highly recommend. The best part is they are affordable.

My wife and I have been going here for about a month and a 1/2 now and cannot believe what a difference getting regular adjustments makes in our overall well-being. Everyone has been super nice and the chiropractors we have had are all excellent. Great hours, good location, and impossible to beat the price. We look forward to going every week and always feel better afterwards. Highly recommended. read more
