I saw today Dr Christopher Zeiter and it was the best experience I had with a chiropractor. He ask me how I was feeling and what specific area was bothering me, and in base of that he worked on my back; but not only the typical adjust, he went beyond that he use and special tool to help him to discontracturated my muscles. But the best of the adjust was the I will called massage all over my shoulders and lower back. Dr Z it's amazing. I will put my back health on his hands. :) read more

Anyone who gave "The Joint Chiropractic" less than five stars clearly does not understand how this franchise works. Obviously these patients did not understand OR read the contract before they signed it and gave their credit card information. With that said, this review is for the competent and literate patients who are looking for a maintenance wellness plan that involves coming at least 4 times a month at their convenience. No appointment necessary and locations are nationwide. I joined my last year of medical school due to back pain from sitting and studying 12 plus hours a day everyday. I tried stretches and massage with no relief. Finally, I went to the joint (in LA) and had instant relief by the 4th adjustment. I signed up knowing that just like a gym membership, i would be billed monthly and if I wanted to cancel, i had to cancel before the next billing cycle (common sense to me). On my school break I traveled to visit family in Denver, stopped at the closest joint, flashed my keytag and was seen in 20min. This was my longest wait. Then I flew to North Carolina and stopped at the closest joint, beeped my keytag, was called back before i had a chance to sit down, was adjusted and gone in 10 minutes. I have rotations for 6 weeks in north county san diego and am staying in Encinitas. This location has been an awesome experience all around. Gerrie at the front desk has enough positive energy in her pinky finger for the entire west coast! She makes you feel like family. Dr. Boelk spent time with me and explained a few self care techniques to do during work. Then I saw Dr. O who recognized a possible condition I may have that could be causing some of my pain. He emailed me some information on the condition and recommended I speak to my physician at my next visit to rule it out. I am almost a licensed medical professional and I can honestly say that the Joint Chiropractic is the reason I was able to finish my last year of medical school. I highly highly recommend this place. But please, like anything in life, read the contract before you sign up for something so your not surprised later. read more

Dr terry is amazing !! I love this place. I have bad disc protrusion and dr terry is taking his time to make sure I know exactly what to do to fix it . I was in so much pain from a previous bad adjustment , but dr terry fixed it ! He's the best! read more

The Dr here is excellent. He is able to adjust me more than other Drs. Really love his care & I drive past two other Joints just to see him at this location. I'm not sure how the other Dr is here, I haven't tried.. read more

A chiropractor visit should not last less than 5 minutes. They don't look at x-rays, they don't prep you for the adjustment by using a massage table or T.E.N.S, they just tell you to get on the table and then they crack you. This is nothing more than a chiro chop shop. In and out as fast as possible. I'm not surprised by the negative reviews as it's possible to do real damage without them actually checking where the problem is. What does surprise me are the positive reviews. Maybe they treat patients differently if they sign up for monthly payment plans, but why would I have any incentive to do so when the first visit sucks. Not worth the money or the risk. Someone should really investigate this place and the way they function. In response to The Joint reply, there was no exam and assessment in either the first or second visit. Affordable chiro is a worthwhile goal, doing it wrong is dangerous and gives chiropractic a bad name read more

Dr Sharon Brown gave me an amazing adjustment and I highly recommend her! I'm so glad I came in today.

Dr. Marissa at The Joint is the most sensitive and intuitive chiropractor I have ever visited. She takes time to understand what you need help with and talks you through the whole process so gracefully. I HIGHLY recommend her and this location!!! read more

I have been on the search for a new chiropractic place and saw the joint while i was in the shopping center. I was immediately greeted and welcomed by Alison. Alison was extremely informative and educated me on the whole process. After talking to her, I will definitely be booking an appointment. read more

Dr Brantwell is great. I'm really enjoying the adjustments and the interesting conversations. Thanks!

I make sure I get in at least 2 times per month. Sitting at a desk all say and picking up kids does not help but Dr O or the other great doctors get me moving and help me feel great! I really appreciate their care and attention to my challenges especially my frozen shoulder. They also do a great job keeping my kids healthy. read more

Once they get you on a membership, it's hard to end. I had a quick move over 100 miles away during covid. They attempt to force you to hand deliver a resignation to the same location you joined. I had to involve the corporate office, which does not like to get involved in membership issues, to resolve this. I did this over a year ago and every quarter they still charge my card. I'm going to have to change CC numbers, such a pain, if they won't stop. It's fraud. read more

Dr Loos & Angelica were awesome!! Highly recommend! Very informative! Very affordable as well

Courtney is misinformed and the least bit helpful. I faxed a cancellation form and she called me three times in a row while I was at work. As if calling me once wasn't good enough. Then she proceeded to refute any reason I had to cancel. Then started arguing about false statements. She was one of the worst receptionist I've ever dealt with. Not sure what the minimum requirements are to get a job here but it must not be that much. I called back to update my cc information and the "Dr" picked up informally without an introduction and WITH AN ATTITUDE TOO! It was so bad that I had to ask "is this the joint?" And I could tell it was him because of his accent. Apparently, Courtney told the "Dr" what happened and he chose to stoop to her unprofessional level. I figured either the "Dr" is her dad haha. If only he knew just how little she knew! At this rate, I'm sure they will close down. read more

Karen at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The doctor was great - knowledgeable and efficient. I'll definitely be back for a visit! read more

This place cracks me up. That was ridiculous right? I just had to start with something. I have been living with a real pain for a long time. No, not my wife. I've been living with here for only half of a long time. And she, at least, has some redeeming qualities. It's my back. It's a chronic pain. It's always around. Though there are some similarities between the two, one of them I love and the other I have gotten used to. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. She's going to read this and show me what real pain is. So, before that happens, I'll tell you about my experience with "The Joint". I have been only twice and the first time was a few days ago. I was in terrible pain, slumped over, my face all crunched up and my lower back in agony. I finally decided to take action and try this place. Cost is a big issue for me because I know that nothing is going to give me permanent relief. I don't want to spend $50 or more only to need it again in a few days. However, At around $15 plus or minus a few dollars, (price packages being the variable), I feel this is something that I can make exception to. I mean for about $15 I can afford to feel good. Makes sense right? I gotta think they set up their business plan with that theory in mind. The procedure is fast but they get right to the point. My lower back hurt and I couldn't stand completely upright. Dr. Larry adjusted my neck, hips, shoulders and lower back and I sat up straight immediately. Relief and relaxation began to smooth out my frown and my lungs filled up with air. What a feeling. My head began to clear up. It was like a miracle drug. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep later in a sitting position. I never do that. I had been so tense for so long that I had forgotten what being relaxed is like. It was like someone opened the door and let a fresh, sunny spring day into my life. I know... WOW! Today, I went again and had the same experience. It is good. It is great. it is awesome. I purchased a package that will allow me to go back several more times and feel good again. "The Joint" is just what I need. I am very happy right now. I know that I get to feel good many more times in my future. Thank you to The Joint. You crack me up read more

After paying $35 per visit with insurance I knew there was a better alternative for chiropractic. I went to the joint and Dr. Kamsay is great. I go in every week to stay aligned and never spend more then 10 minutes waiting. I am not sure of any where else where for 50 bucks you get four visits with no appointment needed. read more

Having never been to a Chiropractor, I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I limped into the The Joint in Encinitas. I was experiencing some pretty intense sciatica pain and finally gave in. By "gave in," I mean I called every Chiropractor in North County Saturday night on the off chance that I might find one willing to see me the next day. The Joint is the only office I found whose doors were open on a Sunday, and I can't applaud them enough for this. After filling out some medical questionnaires, privacy notices and such, I was introduced to Dr. Brooks who listened as I explained what I believed was the source of my pain, and how long it had been going on. He laid me down and conducted a brief exam before executing two adjustments on my Lower back / hip. The entire process took less than 30 minutes and he gave me a brief diagnosis and treatment regimen. About as easy as any single medical procedure could be. The office is sparse but elegant. Simple furnishings and a concrete floor highlight the facility. Pricing is exceptionally low. I could have used the $19.95 introductory for checking in for the first time. But instead was offered my first visit free of charge after happily purchasing a package which included a succession of appointments to adjust my spine and ensure my hip and lower back healed properly. I'm extraordinarily happy with the level of care I received at The Joint and with Dr. Brooks and his staff. Great Office, Great facility, Great Job. Happy adjusting! -Justin read more

I was able to come in right away while all other chiropractors were saying it would be a week wait. They were super friendly and loved small talk but also got the job done quick and efficient. For sure coming back again. read more

I bought 10 visits on a special. Each visit lasted about 5 minutes or less. I never felt any difference. The last visit I had the guy pulled on my legs and I was hardly able to work for almost 2 weeks. I have 2 visits left and do not plan on using them. I feel it would be a waste of my time. The girls at the front desk are always very nice and helpful. I am sure this may be great for others, but for me it was a waste of my time and money. read more

Dr Brooks is awesome, but I take issue with how they run this office. This is the second time I have come here to an empty office thinking there was no wait. People come in after me and are told to go back before me. When I question it they say there was a reason they had to leave, so it's a courtesy to let them ahead. This time they let 2 people ahead and what appeared to be no wait was an extra half hour. If it is a true walk in place, they shouldn't be doing this. They also didn't let me know, just waited until o asked why this was happening. read more

Be prepared to have to cancel your bank card in order for monthly charges to stop after ending your membership! For months after cancelling my membership, my bank account keeps getting charged. Crazy Bananas!! I called local office in December, when this happened last. I was assured problem was fixed. I've not received a return call from corporate, who I was told to call from local office when calling on the most recent charges at end of Febuary. I left a voicemail almost a week ago. The front desk girl where I received services, stated she called them and asked that they reach out to me. Still no response. I had to cancel my debit card to be sure I would not get charged ever again. This is poor business practice ......................the services, though convenient, not great either. I should of just scheduled an appointment with a comprehensive chiropractic clinic. read more

Very happy with Dr Brightwell's treatment plan. He took time to explain how I can keep myself healthy and showed me exercises to help with my back and neck. I Love chatting to Caryn at the front desk - friendly and professional. You don't need an appointment and you rarely have to wait long for an adjustment. If you do have to wait, it's worth it!! read more

I have many back problems but unfortunately I cant always afford the copay at my chiropractors office. So I was so lucky to find this growing franchise in the Kohl's shopping center in Encinitas. They have an introductory rate of $19 (Can't Beat That!!) and this allows you to receive an examination and an adjustment. From then on you can sign up for there month to month membership (which i did) for such a low cost or continue to pay a $29 a visit after that. The place is so modern and well decorated and has an amazing feel to it. Also you can walk in at anytime and they will take you! I love the doctors that are there as well. They have one female doctor that seems to be there on sat. and during the week a male doctor who is amazing!! I would highly recommend this place!!!! read more

I am very dissapointed in the Joint. They are nothing but Rip Offs. I took my mother in there cause she had a crick in her neck. First of all we had to fill out all these unnecessary paper work for a 3 minute fix. They want you to continue to go see them for a fee of 67.00 a month. Even if u only want to go once or twice. They want u to sign a contract so they can take money out of ur acct every month. The guy that worked on my mother took him 3 minutes for him to do nothing. I could have done that s...t myself. Really. My mother was in more pain leaving than she was when she got there. I took my mother to the mall to Good! Hand and for the same price of 30 dollars they are doing a much better job and she's there for 30 minutes verses 3 minutes. read more

Caryn and doctor Terry were very nice with me, friendly and happy people. I visited the Join twice in less one week. The first location was Encinitas. I was living close of the place in the past and LA fitness is close. I thought that after swing a little bit is a good idea stop at The join to align my bones. The second time I visited them was in Carlsbad. And I walked because it is really close of my actual house. And also the attention was amazing. I will go this week also. I have a little pain still, but I can walk and drink perfectly. I couldn't one week ago. Amazing! read more

OMG let me first by saying that I'm not the kind of person that goes to a chiropractor very often at all. In fact, the last time I saw a chiropractor was about three years ago. So, here's my story: For the last two days I could hardly move. I'm not sure how I did it, but I completely tweaked my lower back. I was practically in tears. I was desperate for relief. My friend told me to try the joint. I figured it couldn't hurt. I showed up at exactly 11 when they opened. I was seen about 15 minutes later. I had immediate relief! Really, practically a miracle!!! I ended up going back that night six hours later for one more session. I am 90% better. This place is quick, no frills and very reasonably priced. Ahhh what a relief:) read more

I decided to cancel our membership with the Joint on June 2018. That was my last visit. It is always problems and trouble with the joint and we decided no to have nothing else to do with their services. So we requested from Britney too cancel our paperwork. Some times the joint even charged us twice on the same month and day and they were never refunded. They did that twice!!! One time $69.00 fee and same day $39.00 fee. They did that twice!!! And never got the REFUND. But use your account to still from you this way. I call corporate and send them emails but they do not respond. Six moths later On December 19 2018 I came back for a one time visit for a one time fee of $39.00. The lady at the front desk her name is Daylene wanted me to fill out the paperwork again but I refuse to do so due to my past experiences. So I requested a one time visit for $39.00 asked for my receipt and never come back again. She assure me that I was not a member and that I needed to fill out the paperwork to be a member. I made my compliant to Dr. Gregg and never came back. Gaylene and I end up on an argument on the premises on that specific day because she wanted to fill out a membership paperwork. I did not wanted to fill out more contracts and that's why I wanted only a one time visit with Dr. Gregg and left. Two months later I received a call from Daylene on February 6th 2019 letting me know that I was 16 days past due!!!!!!! I was in shock to hear what it was coming out of her mouth. I reminded her who I was and the argument we had at the Joint back on December because she wanted me to fill out new paperwork. She accepted her mistake and still she did not fix it but put it on me. According to her my membership was already cancel and now she is calling me after so many months and ask for the fee saying that my membership is due and that she can't find any cancellation notice, that actually my membership was never cancel. I had not even being in their facility for months. She assure me that my membership was cancel even the client that was waiting there was a witness of this argument. An now I get this type of phone calls, and harassment. That is crazy!!! I had receipts of payments given to the joint and I had looked in the internet on how many people this company had screw. The lack of training and the huge lack of communication between the company and their employees are plainly wrong. This company causing issues to people like me and now they want me to pay for something that I had not even received. Now according to Gaylene while she called me she want me to sign a new cancellation form which I refused to sign because it would appears as I was just barely cancelling which is not. This was suppose to be taken care of back on June 2018. I also reminded her that she assure me back in December 2018 that my membership was cancel but her and "The Joint" was of not help. They got to do better than this with their employees. These is extremely outrageous. read more

I have been seeing a DC for the past 40 years of my life so I value the wellness approach Chiropractic brings to the community. My 17 year old son and football player and I had been going to the Joint location in Aliso but after having 3 doctors work on us in about 6 months we wanted a little more personal attention. WOW did we find the right doctor. Dr. Noori communicated with us extremely well, gave us a fantastic adjustment and really made us feel we were really special. He has been at the San Clemente location for over 4 years. He will be our new doctor for years to come. If you looking for a great adjustment and not just another patient, I highly recommend Dr. Noori at the San Clemente location. read more
