I went to The Joint after experiencing chest/sternum pain and popping for about a year (on and off). The main chiropractor here (I don't remember his name) really LISTENED to what my problem was and found the issue quickly. He adjusted me several times and was always calming, professional and friendly. He also gave me posture and stretching tips for me to use at home that would help my issue. I could not have asked for more. After being treated for a few months, my problem went away COMPLETELY and has not come back. I am so much more comfortable and very very happy that I went there. I never had to wait and always just dropped in without an appointment. Such a good value for the money! As for Zulma's review below, I'm sitting here shaking my head. As long as you simply read the contract you are signing, there should not be a problem whatsoever. I did not feel that I was mislead at all. I signed up for the membership, used it for a few months, and then cancelled it once I felt my issue was resolved. Had no problems in that process at all. You'll go there first time when you are in pain to get quick physical treatment. they will say: you need to get a plan of at least two months to be better. Even if you have inflammation, which usually do not need physical treatment, they will say you need it. They just want to make business with you no matter if your back need their service or not. read more

Love the 7-day walk-in convenience and affordability of the Joint; I get an adjustment every week near work or home(Oceanside office)for a reasonable monthly cost and rarely have to wait more than 5 min. This place has really been amazing for me, in particular Dr. Assadian. I was having some extremely intense neck issues. I really was desperate and my sister told me to to visit this doctor since she is only in on Friday's and Saturday's. I went to go see her and instantly my wry neck (the type of injury) I had started to heal. The pain kept shifting in my neck, and everytime she was able to find it and do something that improved the condition. She knows what she is doing and I am very grateful to her. I wish she was available more throughout the week though. Finally found the right person here. Adam Kleinberg is perfect. He was able to adjust me where others couldn't. Today took my 86 year old Mother to see Adam, she was was having upper back pain and headaches. He did a full and complete assessment of her, taking into consideration all her medical conditions. I've been a patient or a client of The Joint for several years. I love this place. I have always needed adjustments on my back to keep me healthy, active and feeling good and have visited many chiropractors since I was in my twenties. No in my 70's I must say that this is a much needed care provider and at a very reasonable price. There was some talk about closing on Sundays, and have no plans of doing so in the future. And yeah to that. I want o validate that each time I visit the Mira Mesa store, I am greeted by friendly staff and Doctor and always leave feeling better than when I arrived. If you are reading this and you have any skepticism about their program, I can tell you not only does it work, but the cost is priced so reasonable that it just doesn't make sense not to get the care that you deserve. read more

I visited the Joint Chiropractic last week, as I had horrible neck pain and very limited range of motion for over a week. I saw Dr. Otoupalik and he did some amazing work. All in all the visit was about an hour, consisting of new patient paper work and the procedure Dr. Otoupalik performed. Dr. O. gave me great and sound advice for that evenings recovery process. I did not follow it 100% because I hate ice and did not have Advil on hand, however I regained my mobility and felt almost 100% by the next morning. They requested I come back the following day and I did not feel it was necessary after the excellent results I got in 1 visit! Which was a huge plus for me :) These guys are awesome! Excellent!!! I had never been to a Chiropractor. Last week I had such bad back pain that I could barely walk so it was either urgent care or Chiropractor. The Joint is close to my house so I went there and Dr Adam took me in. Dr. Adam asked about the issue, checked my neck and back, made some adjustments. I was feeling much better after. He told me that it would take a few visits so I bought a package. Have been in 6 days in a row now. I can actually walk upright and am not in pain 24/7. I love The Joint, Encinitas! I've been coming here for a couple of years and am 100% satisfied with my treatment! Having recently learned the value of regular chiropractic adjustments, I now incorporate them into my life. I'm being seen for chronic neck and back pain, which I've suffered with for years. Since coming to the Joint, my pain level has reduced dramatically! And some days I'm completely pain free, which is amazing given the debilitating pain I used to live with. All of the chiropractors have been excellent and each offers something unique. However, I am especially grateful to Dr. Assadian because she always goes above and beyond! I'm in my 60s and have sometimes felt that chiropractors expect little improvement. Not Dr. Assadian! A true healer, she works with me until we get results. She's very strong and yet gentle, and I can't tell you how much better I feel after her weekly adjustments, which have yielded significant, noticeable, and lasting improvement. In addition to my pain level decreasing dramatically, my concentration has improved - which really helps with my demanding job - and my posture has improved. I feel so much better about myself now! With Dr. Assadian's encouragement and guidance, I've learned to practice better body mechanics and can now contribute much more to my physical wellbeing. With her supportive and educational approach, she has given me hope that I can continue to enjoy life and be productive well into my senior years! Although all of the Joint staff members are kind, welcoming, and very professional, I know Natasha the best. She really takes an interest in who I am as a person and how I'm doing. This place is the best! This review is long overdue. When I first went back in May, Jen at the front desk was patient and explained everything to me. It was my first time seeing a chiropractor and Dr. Brooks was amazing and he listened to my concerns. This place is a scam. I called and cancelled my "membership" and just noticed I was being billed for it. So far, I been charged $69 x 4 for 2 visits! During your visit you would wait (no appt allowed) and adjustment takes 10min at best. Tell me this is not a scam. This place is a sham. The whole idea of The Joint is to lure you in with a cheap intro offer, then get you to sign up for recurring payments on a somewhat complex system, hoping you will stop coming or forget that the payments are hitting your credit card. The hours are not well kept - the first time i went it was supposed to open at 11 and they finally opened the door at 11:15. Yesterday i went in (as i did succumb to the 2 month treatment plan as i thought it was a decent price-performer for my aching back). Posted hours were 10am-5 pm - i called ahead and the receptionist with no personality, skill, drive, or ingenuity to survive in this world informed me that i had arrived at 1:50, that they would break for lunch at 2, and chiro could not treat me til 2:30. Do you think they would act like that if you hadn't prepaid?? Never did see the chiro. I 100% g-tee that somnambulist at the reception desk will never be able to handle a job that pays more than minimum wage - it's been awhile since i stumbled upon a more clueless individual in a place of business - i was angry then but now i kind of pity him. Full disclosure, i do think the chiro on duty is ok. But they have a revolving door of chiros - it's pretty much like a jiffy lube of chiro - anyone can get a job there and they do til they can afford to open their own clinics. Total shtshow - i would recommend you go somewhere for which you have some trusted referrals. read more

I came to The Joint out of sheer frustration with my Insurance Company and the red tape I had to go through to (a) go SEE a chiropractor, and( b) ensure they PAY for the adjustment. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, except a mediocre adjustment (better than none at all, right?). What I found though, in Dr. Adam, is one of THE best chiropractors I have ever seen! (and I've seen probably 15--not joking--in the 25 years I have been using chiropractors). I absolutely LOVE their business model, it ensures I stay regular with my adjustments, and there's no appointment necessary (I'm always in and out in 5-10 mins--TOPS!) And no messing with insurance companies whose co-pays are TWICE the price of an adjustment at The Joint, and my insurance only allows 15 adjustments/year, and you can't just see a chiropractor for maintenance...you have to be in an acute state...what's the POINT? The US medical Industry is not based on a WELLNESS model, it's based on a DISEASE model...but that's a whole another conversation. Anyway...I love The Joint, and Dr Adam! I've been going to Chiropractors my whole life and for the last 2 years have been a part of The Joint. Since there are so many locations- which makes it super convenient wherever I am- there are also many Doctors. Thankfully they've all been good, and every now and then you find a really good one- one who really gets all the cracks and kinks out, even ones you weren't aware of. For the last 10 months I've been consistently going to the Encinitas location and I've been satisfied. But for the last 2 months there has been a new Doctor, Dr. ASADIA, and she is SO WONDERFUL! I've never experienced a Chiropractor like her. Instead of walking in, laying down, and getting the regular routine of cracking everything, she took the time to get familiar with my spine. I laid on the table and she purposefully went through each vertebrae, my hips, my neck, shoulders, legs, all of it. Because she did that, she exactly knew what needed to be adjusted and which maneuver to best put you in line. Dr. Asadia exudes love, care, knowledge, and healing; you walk away feeling so taken care of- I wish I could convey the feeling. I so appreciate (during each visit) her assessment, remembering my case/ life so that she is able to monitor my healing i.e. the progress of getting my neck back in place and to know when something is oddly out of place. Instead of the quick fix 3 minutes of cracking, it's 5 minutes and taking those extra 2 minutes makes a huge difference. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND seeing Dr. Asadia. Right now I believe she's working Fridays and Saturdays. read more

I have been to many accomplished chiropractors in my lifetime in both Boulder, CO and San Diego, CA and have had significant body pain for a long time. Therefore I am extremely apprehensive about going to a walk-in chiropractor, but I really needed an adjustment. My husband and I were blown away by the caliber and experience of Dr. Adam. He is an excellent chiropractor. He is knowledgeable, professional, kind, and best of all he knows how to give a full adjustment. Often chiropractors are apprehensive about fully mobilizing joints, but Dr. Adam is very skilled at aligning and restoring body movement. The best part of Dr. Adam's adjustments is that because he fully adjusts my body I actually hold the adjustment much longer which blew me away. I now go to The Joint once a week to see Dr. Adam and know I will walk out with my body feeling healthy and have freedom of movement restored.
