Watch your credit card! These con artists stuck me for 6 months. I signed up for a 2 month deal. Before the 2 months was up I went to a doctor as I wasn't improving. They put me into physical therapy. At that time I called and canceled with the joint. 6 months later I'm looking through my statement and they are still billing me. When I called the answer was "sorry, we will give you 2 free months" . Free months? I paid for 6 additional months. Before this I would have given them a good rating but now they rank with magazine con artists. read more

There is not a better example of a business practice that is there to do the absolute minimum. $55 fee to pop a couple things that takes less than 5 mins and when I say 5 mins that's about how long that spend with you and that's if they look you in the eye. The services they provide is absolutely wonderful, front desk customer service depending who is there leaves a lot to be desired. The higher staff absolutely understands the need to go above and beyond for customer service. I think sometimes the owner or manager sits up front end she's not so great. I've been to the one in Lone Tree and have always had success. Turns out his pelvis was shifted and badabing the pain is now gone. Most folks don't realize that just this little shift can hugely impact your well being and an alignment can really help if you're willing to try a chiropractor. These guys did a great job today. This is a review that I love to leave! It was a beyond five-star experience! I went to Dr. Gary Wilson at this location. He is only there on Thursdays. I was suffering from a headache, neck ache and an upper back ache, to the point it was almost debilitating. I have tried everything, and massage, self massage, yoga poses, and over-the-counter pain medication. None of these had work. Dr Gary examined my spine, he pointed to The location's on my spine that were out of balance. Everywhere he pointed was exactly where I was having issues. He then proceeded to fix every single one of the problems. When I set up I was completely free of my headache and pain! I feel so much better and so happy that I am able to move freely about my day, in comfort! Absolutely grateful! Also I'm signing up for the membership. What a great deal! It's hard to beat, especially to be happy, joyous and free. read more

Awful customer service! First, let me explain that The Joint charges in advance (not in arrears) for monthly membership fees, which is totally fine - I just wanted to set that stage for those not familiar with their billing process. My billing cycle is on the 26th of every month. On 03/26, my HSA Visa was charged as usual. On 03/27 (as confirmed by Amber M.), the clinics around the metro area started closing due to the pandemic. So from 03/27 through 04/26, I obviously could not use any of the 4 visits I'm entitled to from my membership. Mind you that The Joint had also freezed everyone's membership and did not bill for the following month (in my case, would've been 04/26) due to the closures, which works out just fine. They then reopened around the first week of May, but with only limited resources (one doctor per site) and can only be seen by appointments. So I was able to make an appointment mid-May (05/15 maybe) and last Friday, 05/22. Today (05/29), I had an appointment at 4:30 PM and arrived just a few minutes early. Scanned in my membership key fob, but the coordinator at the front desk (Bessy) informed me that my last automated billing (05/27) had failed as my HSA Visa had just expired (May 2020) when they attempted to charge it for the following month of service - would be for June. Bessy, then informed me that she could not check me in unless the system is updated with my payment card - understandable. I then asked Bessy politely if they can just see me now for my appointment since I was already there and didn't want to have to reschedule my appointment, and I can call her immediately when I get home with the new expiration date (and also given that I had remaining unused visits from the March billing as explained earlier), but she apparently couldn't do that either as she called another clinic. On a side note, when I initially signed up last year, I also didn't have my HSA Visa with me at that time, but it wasn't an issue. The doctor had performed my initial consultation and as soon as I got home, I called immediately with my HSA card so they can use it for my monthly membership fee. All has been good since. Going back to today's appointment, I then asked (again calm and politely) if there was someone in billing or a corporate office I can contact regarding this matter, but before she can answer, the doctor (Dr. Phil Sarver) must have heard our conversation over the wall while he was working another patient, went up to the front and gave me this snarky response that "if we can't check you in, then you can't be seen", so essentially telling me to go home, bring an updated payment card and make another appointment. Ok, so I'm in my 40's, a responsible and working professional at Boeing. I have always been a kind and reasonable gentleman, but this response from Dr. Sarver pretty much put the nail in the coffin for me. I find it extremely rude and lack of customer service for the way he came across. It's as if I didn't even get a chance to finish my sentences. I'm very understanding, but I would at least expect The Joint to be understanding as well, given we as patients have also been patient and understanding with their situation. At that point, Bessy was able to get me connected to the Yosemite clinic and spoke to Amber M. on my personal phone. Granted, I was already a bit irate as I have already explained the situation to Bessy who explained it to Amber, which by the way I also tried explaining to Dr. Sarver (but felt that he just didn't want to hear it), and now I had to explain again to Amber. This was such an awful experience that I just wanted to cancel my membership. Amber then said that she would call me back in "5 seconds" after she gets through with her customer, which was fine with me. But she never called, so I called again a half hour or so later. Then she said, she'll call me back in 2 minutes after yet another client she was dealing with. Of course she didn't call me back in "2 minutes", but I patiently waited till she called. And now that I'm home, she and I started from the beginning again from the 03/27 billing. I had all my facts straight as I was able to login to my HSA account and reviewed all the dates. At the end of the day, I just wanted to cancel my membership and get a prorated refund for my unused visits from the March billing, but she couldn't even do that for me and suggested that I should go to another clinic to be seen if I no longer feel comfortable in going to the clinic closer to me at Southlands. So here I am, expecting a call back on Monday from the operations manager. This is such an awful and frustrating experience for me. I think I would not have made this to be a big deal if Dr. Sarver could've at least shown a bit of empathy rather than his snarky response. I had an appointment and they could've at least fulfilled that appointment given I had unused visits from previous billing cycle I could not use due to the closures. read more

Went in today due to a stiff lower back. They got me in right away after filling out some standard paperwork, did my adjustment, gave me some pointers on what I should do in the near term and a go forward schedule. Brandon was a nice guy and really didn't waste any time, some nice idle chatter and he went to work. Front desk support was good. Look, they're goal is to try and sign you up for a recurring membership so they tell you return visits are important. Can't blame them and as long as they make my pain go away, I'm game. Overall, quick, easy, and fairly painless (literally and figuratively). Heading back in a couple days for follow up, hope it goes as well as the first visit did. read more

It's always a bummer to post a negative review on a business. A few months back I visited the joint after my previous chiro raised his rates thru the roof. The service was good and the adjustment was fair, but I was relieved when I walked out. It isn't what I was used to but seemed it may be a valuable solution to my chronic issues. At that time, I signed up for their monthly membership but because of work didn't make it in for a few months this and had to cancel. I did however, have to jump thru hoops to cancel, it should be much easier. I have been getting adjusted for years and have over the years switched chiropractors a few times for one reason or another. My past chiro was great but as stated earlier the prices became unreasonable. Unfortunately after today at this location I will be returning to him for adjustment. Today I went into the joint for adjustment. I know from my past adjustments that when my neck is out of wack it causes headaches and dizziness. A atlas adjustment always is the remedy. When I explained to the gentlemen today my issues he told me he wouldn't adjust me with out a clearance. Needless to say I was frustrated and left unadjusted. These Chiropractic franchises are a bit of gimmick if you ask me. There's always rotating "chiropractors" and I don't think you'll ever know what you'll get from one visit to the next. I really had high hopes for this place and am glad some find relieve here, but I have been extremely disappointed. I will return to my old chiro and pay the extra money to get superior service these guys just can't provide. read more

I went in for a slight neck crick and ended up with a terrible back ache that has lasted for two days now. They don't take x-rays and just do a quick run of fingers down your back. I guess I'm lucky to still be able to walk. They were very high pressure with there monthly plan. Fortunately, I resisted or I'd be stuck paying a minimum of $159 for two months membership. Stay away. Find a local chiropractor office and stay with them. That way your not seeing different doctors every time you come in. That is if you can get in. They will sell you a 6 or 10 visit package but don't tell you that you must make an appointment before they can see you. Problem is they never answer their phones to make that appointment once you hang up They will send you a text and will only reply two days later. So after multiple attempts to make appointments. I went in and ask for a refund. I spoke with Barbara Stewart the Area Sales Manager, she gave me every excuse possible telling me how they couldn't refund me my money but still ended up giving me a partial refund and left me on the hook for the other half. $145 done the drain. Hopefully my credit card company will dispute the other half. Since Barbara wouldn't take care of it. Never understood why a company would try to keep you hostage? Like I would ever go back. I'll just keep writing bad but truthfully reviews about them. Barbara the reality is I've called multiple locations in the area and it's the same at every location nobody answers the phone to schedule an appointment it's funny it's been over a year of Covid restrictions and your company still can't figure out how to schedule an online appointment. Why don't you address that? Why don't you address why your company will refuse refunds for service it never provided? This complaint is not about the doctors I'm sure your doctors are great but the reality is every time you walk in to the same location there's a new face that's doing your adjustments. Couldn't speak highly enough of my experience at The Joint in Southlands -- Dr. Sarver is the best!!!! One thing that sets The Joint apart from other chiropractic centers is their hours -- where else in Denver can you see a chiropractor on Friday or Saturday afternoon, much less Sunday afternoon?!! I've been to a lot of chiropractors, and my "migraine-type" headache on Thursday night or Friday morning won't wait until the following Monday or Tuesday. Dr. Sarver is kind, understanding, and gives you, far and away, the best chiropractic care you could receive anywhere. I initially rated this location of The Joint poorly, but am now upping my rating to 4 stars. I am doing this because of their response to my complaints. I received a phone call this morning from one of the managers of The Joint, and he apologized for my poor experience there. Furthermore, he offered me a free treatment and explained the corrective actions that were taken to ensure other customers would not receive the same experience. I won't mention here what those corrective actions were, but they were shockingly decisive. Being a small business owner myself, I understand how important customer service is, and after talking to their management, I believe they do as well. --------------PREVIOUS REVIEW-------------- I went into The Joint at Southlands today for an adjustment to ease some pain, numbness and stiffness I was experiencing due to a dog training-related accident. I called ahead and asked if I needed an appointment and was told they are walk-in only, and they'd see me when I arrived. I drove about a half-hour to get to them, filled out the necessary paperwork and was directed to sit on one of four tables in a back room where I'd meet my chiropractor. The chiropractor came in and told me their were two people ahead of me (they were lying on two of the tables in the room) and that he'd be with me shortly. Fair enough. I sat on the very uncomfortable table for nearly 45 minutes. During that time TWO additional people came in AFTER me and were treated BEFORE me. No explanation or attempt to communicate with me about why I was some kind of exception to their first-come-first-serve policy was given. So, I left my complaint with the receptionist and walked out. She seemed kind of clueless about how to deal with customer service issues. read more

Hello, today was supposed to be my first experience with a Chiropractor ever. I initially showed up at the Joint 10 minutes before they opened their doors at 10am. And being the prompt individual I am I wanted to adhere to the first come first served basis that the Joint is known for and wanted to be seen in a timely fashion. When I arrived I was the second person thru the door but was told that because it was my first time visiting that my wait would be 30 minutes because I had some paperwork to fill out and there were two other people who needed to get done too. That's fair, I thought....at least the receptionist let me know. I was there about 15 minutes when the receptionist instructed my husband and I to go back to the seating area to wait our turn. I asked my husband to go first because I was still a little apprehensive and wanted to watch his adjustment being done. We proceeded to wait another 25 minutes while the Dr. finished up two new clients ahead of us. It was finally my husband's turn as he had been waiting on the table like we were instructed when another gentlemen was brought in and the Dr. immediately instructed him to get on the table so he could begin working on him. I quickly stood up and mentioned to the Dr. that my husband and I had been waiting for quite some time and we were told that we would be next. I was a little surprised by the Dr's response. I was told by the Dr. that this gentlemen's adjustment would take 10 minutes or so and he would be out the door and there wouldn't be a need for him to wait because my husband and I were going to take a while to complete. Did it ever occur to the Dr. that we had already been waiting 40 minutes and like everyone else there we had patiently waited our turn? I guess what I found most surprising about the Joint is the customer service and lack of communication by the Dr. He never asked me or my husband if allowing this gentlemen to cut in front of our wait time would be ok he just assumed it would. I've been in the Medical field greater than 20 years and communicating with my patients is a huge part of patient satisfaction and return visits. In fact one of the most attractive features to going to the Joint was not only the cost but the selling point of working on clients on a first come first serve basis. Who likes to wait regardless of the reason? The Dr. never took responsibility for his lack of communication and for his oversight in assuming that this would be ok. I would suggest that this business re focus it's meaning on what a first come first served selling point really means and or include a statement or policy in writing to include that clients may be subjected to longer waiting times if current members show up at any time during a new clients initial intake. This will eliminate confusion for the clients whether new or old. read more

I think Dr Sarver did an excellent adjustment. My only complaint is the tone in which he spoke to me after asking if i had just worked out at Orange Theory. He basically said don't come in here after the gym , go home and shower first, i don't want people's sweat on my hands and on the table. I'm sure chiropractors see all walks of life, and if someone bothers you because they were sweating earlier you probably chose the wrong profession. Doctors deal with much worse things than sweat. read more

Received a phone call yesterday from this place of business because they could not process my credit card. When I called to talk to them about it I found out we had been paying for 3 family members for the past 6 months ,a monthly membership fee. We had no idea as we thought we had joined only for a trial month. Using our health care spending account initially they continued to use this credit card over the past six months. We never received a statement, we never received any phone calls wondering why we weren't using it. A face to face today with the office manager got us nowhere, and one of the doctors decided they needed to get into my husband's face and act like a tough guy. This place came highly recommended to me because I've been having back and shoulder trouble. As soon as I walked in the front desk lady was so helpful and friendly. She was very attentive and answered every question I had. She made me feel very welcome. The actual guy that I met with who adjusted me, I forgot his name but he was SO awesome! Very very knowledgeable and really took his time to understand what issues I was having. He was extremely thorough and did not rush me through like I was kinda expecting. He showed me stretches to help my issues, and even pulled up on the computer what the muscles were doing and the science behind why I was having the problems I was. At no point I was I like upsold or pressured into buying a membership but after he adjusted me I bought a wellness membership IMMEDIATELY! If you are having any kind of pain, tension, stiffness, etc I highly recommend this place. I get really bad migraines and I felt one coming on from all the cranial pressure I had and after my adjustment it all went away. I couldn't be any happier! read more

I have been referring family, friends and our church members to The Joint (kiddie-corner to Southlands) since I was treated there when they first opened. The chiropractors are knowledgeable and personable, too. The doctors listen to what your problem areas are, sometimes even find more sore spots and work on all of them before they are done. I have severe back problems and always leave feeling MUCH better than when I arrived. I signed up for the monthly program recently, and it was the best decision I have made in quite a while! I would rather go there and pay for the 4 visits a month whenever I need them than to drive across town to a chiropractor that my insurance takes and have to make the appointment ahead of time. Also, The Joint is open Saturday and Sunday! The first visit is only $19 and I believe you will be very pleasantly surprised by the doctors and service. Give The Joint a try! read more

They were a nice bunch, did a great job on my screwed up back, and had a great system in place to take care of a person, no matter which Chiropractors were working that day. I at first was leary of a membership place for chiropractic care... its even offered with my regular health insurance, but have never used it, (yes leary about chiropractic care in general) but after suffering from migraines the past couple of years, and having doctor after doctor not be able to assist, one doctor finally said to try it. I saw the sign for this place driving from work one day and was experiencing a blinding headache, so I turned right in to see what it was about. BEST LEFT TURN I HAVE EVER MADE! : ) not only did they get me right in, my headache was COMPLETELY gone by the time I left (what - minutes later???? ) I have NOT had any more severe migraines since I started. Yes, I get some but I head right over and they are usually gone very quickly now. The staff and Doctors are great, and it is so convenient knowing I can walk in on my time. Yes, sometimes there is a small wait, but you will not regret it. I won't say they will cure everything for everyone, but its a miracle how much better I feel - and I have only been going just over a month now. THANK YOU! read more
