I've been coming to Mountain View Pain Center for over 6 six years. When I first started I had a bulging and degenerated disc. I couldn't walk and the pain was unbearable. Friends and family were urging me to consider surgery. MVPC got me back walking, back on my snowboard and ultimately pain free. They even initially consulted with my primary care physician which I thought was truly going above and beyond. They now treat and care for more than just my back - they treat my ankle, knees, wrists, neck, whatever I'm having issues with they address it. They offer more than just adjustments, too. Services like massage, dry needling and physical therapy. They have spent a great deal of time with me going over various exercises, stretches and how to use a foam roller properly - and also provided sheets with pictures of all it to take home. All of the doctors and assistants are very intelligent, have terrific attitudes and your best interests in mind at all times. They have changed my life for the better and I couldn't be more thankful. love the practice and staff unfortunately i had to change to a different location. My last visit there was horrible. the homeless situation around this Denver location is overwhelming. They make parking difficult, the smell is bad, and the mental health scary. While there seen many people shooting up drugs in his another guy was carrying around a dead puppy. I recently was referred to Mountain View Pain Center on Wadsworth and Estes. the care I received was okay but in my opinion this office is only interested in making money they would not refill a prescription unless I came in because it had been three months since I last saw them. this refill was not for opioids in my mind they only wanted the insurance money. Their billing department is a total train wreck. They overbilled me by almost $600. I had to go through 8 months worth of receipts and bank statments to PROVE to them that I had made payments they had in their system all along. I was treated as if I were the "bad guy" and it took over 5 months to get this corrected on their part. Furthermore they recommend procedures that a person doesn't need. I didn't need. They push procedures on people to "rack" up billing. And not to mention the invisible revolving door they have: in short they go through employees like crazy and in the end it's like you're starting treatment all over again! While Dr Matt Usel is absolutely the best chiropractor in the State of Colorado, I was just informed that Mountain View Pain Center is revising their open hours of business. Making it impossible for people who have Monday through Friday 9-to-5 jobs to make it in for an appointment. They are no longer doing Saturday appointments, making it impossible for people who work Monday through Friday 9 to 5 and who are in extreme pain to get into be seen. They will be losing a lot of clients and a lot of money. This is a very poor business choice. read more

I found this place on Groupon with an almost too-good-to-be-true price for a chiropractic exam, adjustment, and massage. Due to scheduling difficulties, we had to do the massage and adjustments on different days, which was technically not allowed the Groupon, but the staff was very nice about it, and honored the Groupon without comment. The gal at the front desk is super sweet, and very accommodating. They offer reminders before your appointment by phone or email, which is a nice choice to have. My Chiropractic adjustment was last week with Dr. Matt Usel, who was FANTASTIC. I've been to quite a few different chiropractors, and after breaking my spine in 2005, I'm probably not the easiest patient in the world. Dr. Usel quickly identified my trouble spots, and my limited ranges of motion, and was wonderful with explaining exactly what he was doing. After the adjustment, I felt great, strong and flexible, and I could very easily feel that my hips were far better aligned than when I'd come in. I went back this morning for the massage, and I can honestly say that I've never had a better massage in my life. I wish I could remember the gal's name, and I'll definitely have them look it up for me when I schedule my next massage, because she was amazing. The massage room, like the chiropractic room was clean and nicely decorated, very inviting. The music choice was relaxing without being too hippy-dippy, which I really appreciated. She asked me once about pressure at the beginning of the massage, and I indicated that it was perfect, and she continued with that perfect pressure throughout, finding and working out knots and leaving me feeling great. I'm already scheduled to see Dr. Usel again, and I'll be scheduling another massage as soon as I can clear a spot in my schedule. I couldn't be more impressed with this place. Their prices are fantastic, and they work with insurance, so it's even better depending on your plan. Despite the bargain prices, this is TOP QUALITY care, both on the chiropractic and the massage ends. I couldn't be happier, and I've got to say, I'll be seeing them quite a bit in the future. The Assistant Liberty always gets me started right away and is very attentive to my needs. The Doctors are also very thorough in their assessments and keeping track of my progress. This location is close to my house and they always have morning times avail. I injured my back and they saw me the same day. The treatment is going great! I have been going to this facility for almost 4 months now. I normally go once a week. Lena the receptionist is always smiling and very helpful. Daniel (I think he is medical assistant) is so professional and respectful. Derek does the best deep tissue massage ever, he hand angel's hand. Last but not least Dr Matthew, he is my primary doctor and he is THE BEST. He is so patient, professional and the best he explains everything he is doing, why and how. I've been coming here for at least 5yrs. The front desk staff is always efficient and friendly and the same goes for the aides and massage therapist. They are thorough here and you get the feeling that they all like their jobs, they are all caring and it shows. Dr. Matt is my favorite & one of the best chiropractors I've ever had, he's very knowledgeable and he's amazing at dry needling. So my wife and I went in to this place under one of their specials. $41 dollars for a chiropractic exam and an additional sum of money to add a massage to it. (I can't remember how much) Now I didn't get the massage, but my wife did. So we received our services paid our fees, and didn't come back. I wasn't a big fan of the chiropractic here. They were the kind of chiropractors that said we need to see you three times a week forever to maintain spinal health. Let me adjust you and leave. No real focus on why your spine is out of place or how to prevent it. There is a reason physical therapists hate chiropractors. We made our visit beginning of January 2013. I recently received a bill for my wife's visit for $83. 18 months after our visit. The next week, they sent me a new bill for $53 for my wife's visit. I called to inquire about it, they told me that the x-ray was an additional 53 dollars. I thought, hey that's strange, my wife and I did the same deal, what about my account. They said my account was paid in full. I asked them to inquire about it (not to mention why I was sent two different bills for the same service). I received a phone call from the collections department in about 5 min. He proceeded to tell me that it's an automated billing system which is why it took 18 months to receive my bill... like that makes sense. To top it off, he informed me, I owed $56 for my x-ray, that the first person I talked to didn't understand what she was looking at in my account. I have no problems paying for service I get, but to slap me with over $100 in charges 18 months after my visit? Be wary if you choose to go here. Keep all receipts and receive things written down. A great chiropractor that exists solely to see you get better so you don't have to visit every week is New Heights Chiropractic in Highlands Ranch. It might be out of the way from here, but they are fantastic. The doctor really works the muscles before he adjusts you. Gives you the exercise you need so you don't have to keep visiting. MVPC will adjust you and tell you to come back as often as they can keep getting your money. read more

Purchased a living social coupon, booked my appointment for a Monday afternoon. Sunday morning I caught a stomach bug and was in bed (and bathroom) all day. I called Monday morning to cancel and they informed me I had to give 24 hours notice or I would forfeit my coupon. I explained that I had gotten ill on Sunday but it didn't seem to matter. As a result I couldn't make my appt. as I was home recovering. Even though I didn't make my appt. I would never recommend this place as they clearly have no customer service or compassion. And they're supposed to be a "pain center", what a joke! read more

I really enjoy coming here. Dr. Usel has healing hands. I came in for relief of my chronic neck pain and after adjustments and Neuro treatments, I feel great. First time here at Mountain View Arapahoe branch and l wish l had never went there, customer service was bad and services. After filling out the paper work l met the chiropractor and it felt like he was in a rush, he didn't try to figure out about the pain l was complaining about, he just sat there and said l will treat you. I set up an appointment for today three weeks ago. I received a reminder email two days ago but after I drove through traffic I was told they canceled my appointment right after I received the email. The appointment setter instead of apologizing she decided to blame me and ask what I expected them to do. I am very disappointed and can't say I'm surprised. I am very happy with the overall service that I receive at the Mountain View Pain Center. The staff is always able to accommodate my schedule and I love the stem unit and roller bed equipment that they set you up on while waiting to be seen. I have seen several chiropractors over the years and am happiest with the care I receive from Dr. Nate Williams - the adjustments he makes on me are spot on and I always leave the office feeling fantastic; additionally the dry needling service that he recently suggested has been life changing. I have seen 4-5 chiropractors and 4-5 massage therapists in the area and Dr. Matt and Dereck are the best chiropractor and massage therapist around. I have so much faith in both of them that I am going to have both of them treat my two teenage girls too.
