He was compassionate and a good sport--I had made a real mess of things. He had to get super creative to fix this problem. Do not use this company. They were contracted thru Costco to replace our garage door. They failed to identify and separately contract with us to replace the track. During the install they were angry and fighting with each other the entire time, throwing materials, peeing in our landscaping and one of them intentionally clogged our powder room toilet which resulting in our basement flooding, which had to be remediated at a cost of over $2000. The functionality of the door was never right: it was always extremely loud and rickety and they never properly caulked it so we never experienced an improvement in cold air seeping in which we'd thought we'd paid a premium for. Just 4 years later, and the door spontaneously buckled and popped off the track and fell on my husband's head, luckily not killing him. Another garage door service company who inspected the damage confirmed the track was not compatible with the door and should have been replaced. So now we're replacing it all over again. save yourself the hassle. read more

Terrible. Do not use them. I waited 3 weeks because the property management company insisted on this outfit. Prior to the first "appointment", there was no contact. A guy called me midday on the day of. He said he was nearby and could stop in "now". I said I wasn't home but had left the door unlocked. He took a look but didn't fix it. A few days later I received a voicemail from the company. I called back three or four times with no answer. They then left another voicemail assigning me a date. On the day of the second appointment I received a call from a random phone number. I returned the call and was told that he was no longer available to come since I didn't answer. I called the office and they had no information about my situation. The man at the office refused to give his name. He informed me that it is their practice to call and if you don't answer they just don't show up. Also that they don't try to communicate ahead of time to get information about the problem. read more

The repairman showed up on time to my jobsite in Collegeville on Monday, but was completely unprofessional. He was on his phone, and put it down to say he was from jaydor and asked if I was the owner. I told him 'yes' and he proceeded to do the install while still talking on his phone! When he was done, he said that will be $405. Never walked me through the new controls, never asked if I had any questions, never reprogrammed my outdoor panel. So I made him walk me through everything. He was more focused on getting out of there and talking on his phone then providing customer service. My suspicion is jaydor subcontracts these new installs out to (sub-par) third parties. I will never recommend jaydor because it seems they have no control over their installers or care to see if I was satisfied. read more

I would give no stars if this was an option. We purchased our garage doors from Jaydor through Costco. I recently damaged the bottom panel of the door by backing into it before the door was fully opened. Clearly my mistake. A Jaydor technician, Jay, came and, using a hammer, banged out the bottom panel so that the door would close. The technician gave me my receipt for the $98 for this and on the receipt it clearly shows that one panel needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, I didn't close the door until after the technician left. In banging at the bottom panel, he hit the panel above (which wasn't previously damaged). This was an accident but now we had 2 damaged panels that needed to be replaced. I sent pictures to Jaydor of the damage done by the technician. I spoke to a salesperson who told me that technician said I had damaged both panels- not true. I then spoke with Josh, who refers to himself as a manager, who was so rude to me it was unbelievable. Putting aside the lying about who damaged what - implying that I was lying, Josh would not let me speak, talked over me, and would not let me speak to anyone else. Just incredibly rude and unprofessional. NEVER work with this company! They are horrible! read more

We hired this company and they told us our garage door would be completed in one day, a Monday. The door was not completed on Monday, and t assured us he would be back Wednesday or Thursday. Late morning Thursday, still no call and no show. We had to call the company to fight to get someone out to finish the job. Our house was left unsecured (the female on the phone said the worker should have installed a lock on the inside of the door which he had failed to do) for 4 1/2 days due to the inefficiency and lack of communication with this company. Really bad service. Called for an appointment, set one up. They called the morning of the appointment to confirm and never showed. Called again later in the day, left a voicemail, never returned the call. We arranged to be home for this as well. Day after is today, no call of apology or concern. Stay away! read more

Nightmare from beginning to end. Just got my money back three months later, still have plywood and drywall screws where door should be. Where to start? Randall, account manager said back in Feb 18 that if I gave him a credit card "right now" my door would absolutely be in on March 6, otherwise it would be the 24th. Paid him. We took down old door to clean out building thinking we would have a nice door in a couple of weeks. Door arrived March 24th. Techs came out to install, couldn't do it because original guy who came out to measure missed some damage to old frame. rescheduled install. Josh, the owner's son, called me 7 am day of scheduled install to say they wouldn't be coming out, and if I didn't like it I could stop by and get a refund. He said "I'll give you directions and you can come and get a check". (He needs to get a job at McDonalds so he can start at the bottom of the customer service learning curve..) His father had to call me to apologize, and ask me what his son said, saying "He does this a lot". Maybe don't employ your son? Techs came out finally to do install hours after they were supposed to be there, and had me hold a tape measure to door frame. He stands there for about 30 seconds, staring at tape, and says "Hmm. This opening is 106". I have a 104" door on my truck." Told him I just want my money back. Got an email 3 weeks later asking for the final payment because the job had been "completed". Emailed to say "Why am I getting an invoice?!" Called later and they said to ignore email. Then a call a few days later asking for money over the phone. Wow. Just wow. Totally incompetent organization, and arrogant on top of it all. read more
