I had been recomended the Jade centre for acupuncture treatment for joint pains, and other stuff, so i thought i'd check it out. and found a fantastic, small practitioner owned practice, that catered very much for your personal needs/ailments. I had a very thorough initial consultation with 'Louise' the acupuncturist, who was very knowlagable and listened very carfully to what i had to say , then did the pulses and other stuff that Acupuncturists do. I had done a study in the validity of acupuncture in orthopaedics when i did my Ortho certificate, so i had an idea of what to expect.,,, anyway. after a very involved history taking i had my first treatment , which was comfortable and relaxed, It was explained to me what to expect, so i had no worries about needles or pain, in fact the whole thing was pain free and left me feeling very realxed. I realise it was the first of a few sessions so i know i have a few more to get the long term benefits, but i am looking forward to my next session and feeling more changes in my general wellbeing. I won't go into my ailments, but suffice to say, I know i will need more sessions and realise things sometimes get a little worse before they get better, but that was not the case today, i felt so much benefit afterwards, i would recomend this to anyone. read more
