Before I moved house recently I was registered at Hyde Park Surgery and never had any problems at all. I went there a few times to different doctors. Now I am also a bit of a hypochondriac and once got myself into a bit of a worry over something or other, and despite probably thinking I was a bit pathetic the doctor I saw (a woman who I'm afraid I can't remember the name of!) was absolutely lovely and sympathetic and managed to get the perfect balance between objective advice and gentle sympathy...so I didn't feel as stupid as I probably seemed!
I also staggered there once rather under-dressed in the cold weather with a severe temperature and generally feeling hideous while I was supposed to be finishing my dissertation in time for the fast-approaching deadline! The doctor I saw then was great and instantly gave me a note stating that I had a 'very serious viral infection' or similarly strong terms which really put my mind at rest when desperately requiring an extention!
Overall a generally very positive experience with all doctors I saw. read more
