Service is very quick and efficient and you are not waiting an age for your next course (unless you request it). The interior decor has been recently updated and is also very pleasant. A large party (30-40) arrived shortly after we did and this did not affect service at all. The food is still amazing. I opted for the RaRa chicken which was particularly delicious. A lovely blend of spices which was hot enough to appreciate but not too hot that it drowned out the flavours as happens in many curry houses. The alcohol is also extremely reasonably priced, (cheaper than you would pay for it in the local pubs, which is unusual for a restaurant and very much appreciated). 2 courses for 2 people with alcohol for under £30. An ideal spot for a romantic evening with the wife, great food, great surroundings, great staff and a great night out.

Around the area, you can find several similar Nepalese cuisine and hookah lounges on the block. I just picked this one randomly and also because they had a nice interior. I had dinner around 6pm and the place was quiet and not crowded yet. The service was great, as I was greeted by two friendly servers from the door to the table. There was a larger party who sat behind me, and it seemed like a lot of locals eat there. There were several customers who seemed to be regulars. The wait time was the food was not long at all and costs of the dinner was fair. The food was amazing and flavorful, as most Nepali food are rich in flavor and spice. Although, I am not Nepali, the taste are very similar to my Nepali friend's homemade food, so quite authentic to me.

Extra points for the piano jazz playing in the background (not live music). I dined here for lunch since I happened to be nearby and found the menu to have a good selection of choices. The dishes were creative and full of complex flavors. The Chettinad chicken was excellent with a good amount of spice but not so much that it overpowered the dish. My only complaint is that the meal was a bit pricey for lunch but the quality of food and the level of service do demand higher prices. I'd like to return for dinner sometime when I want a nicer place. They do take reservations and it is probably recommended. One other comment, the restrooms are nice and clean, but down a flight of stairs with a spiral staircase. If you or someone in your party has mobility issues take note.
