Oh Stony Point, how far you've fallen…read more I don't know if it's COVID or what has brought about the mass exodus from this outdoor shopping center but it's a shell of what it used to be. 10 years or so ago - I was so impressed with all the stores here. Some of them the only high end ones until you get to DC. Tiffany's, Restoration Hardware, Anthropologie, Sur la Table, body stores, Bebe, Saks 5th Ave and tons more. Tiffany's and RH remain. As well as Saks and a few others holding on like Pandora and Brighton, but that's it. A vast majority of the shops have closed as well as the restaurants. I remember when this was a bustling shopping center with children playing in the main area and people walking their pets. It was a ghost town today. I hope it can be revived.

I hate to say it, but this place was DEAD when I went. NO ONE was there, and several storefronts…read morewere vacant. I don't know if Short Pump Town Center drew away all the business or what, but Stony Point is doing something very wrong. It shouldn't be this DEAD so close to downtown. I hate to compare it with a place from back home, but I couldn't help but think of the Domain in Austin, TX. Any time you go to the Domain, it's jumping. Like it's always popping there. And they are the exact same type of property. Yes, Austin is a much bigger city and the Domain's a much bigger area, so I'm not expecting Stony Point to be on par. But it was still kind of dead. I was expecting it to be just a little more popping.

Since moving from Woodstock I've been without a recliner in my Richmond man cave. Recently I…read morestarted shopping for a new recliner that was affordable, fashionable, powered (both recliner and headrest) plus USB-A and USB-C Ports. While shopping at Costco today Carol and I came across the beautiful Shayne Leather Power Recliner. It was love the instant I sat my butt down, lol!! Costco will deliver it Tuesday!! My new recliner arrived today and I'm so glad we had it delivered. It took two delivery guys to manhandle it out of the truck, up the freight elevator and into our condo. The instructions were pretty straightforward and shortly after unboxing the two halves I scooted the main base and back rest into the man cave and assembled them. Once that was done I plugged it and took it for a test sit!! I'm in heaven, lol!!! Have to give Costco

I was asked to check back in an hour or wait to be contacted when it was completed. I actually showed up 15 minutes prior to the appointment time and checked in. About 70 minutes later, I received a call, thinking my vehicle was ready for pickup, but instead they were asking if the wheel lock was with the car. The service advisor didn't seem apologetic and spoke in a manner that came across as, "Yeah, we're behind, and you're going to have to wait." I had another appointment after the rotation, which cut into my travel time. My vehicle wasn't even pulled in until about 80 minutes after my original arrival, and then it took another 40 minutes or so to complete the service. No one in the shop seemed to care much, other than telling customers, "Yeah, we're about 45 minutes behind," with a dismissive attitude. I don't know if the Costco Tire Center understands the purpose of making an appointment, but it felt like their definition of an appointment is that they'll service you sometime within the day--not at the scheduled time.
