Is Arden Fair my favorite mall? No, but it is close to where I live and always gets the job done!…read more Arden Fair is a big sized mall with plenty of parking - it obviously gets pretty busy on the weekends and especially around the holidays! When I visit, I usually stop into stores like Claire's, Foot Locker, Hot Topic, Lush, Macy's and Sephora. They also have a Miniso, Pandora, Spencer's, Coach and a brand new Pop Mart - just to name a few! Their food court is pretty decent offering Charley's Phillysteaks, Taco Bell, Panda Express and even Sbarro. They also offer different places to eat and grab drinks around the mall such as Cinnabon (my family's personal favorite), Jamba Juice, Wetzel's Pretzels and Hot Dog on a Stick. Santa and the Easter Bunny even visit for photos during their respected holidays! Overall, I'm not really sure what to say about the value, each business is differently priced obviously depending on where you go and the service is the same. I tend to only come to Arden Fair Mall when I need something specific and try my best to get in and out!

Was never really all that great unless you were a nearby teenager who thought it was sooooooooo cool to cruise the mall back in the day. Well it's no longer back in the day so I cruised the mall at lunchtime on a weekday! (wut up *gang sign*) At present, being lunchtime on a weekday, the parking lot is less than 20% full so park like a dork and take up three spaces with your nifty Honda if you want. Short walk to the front doors and there's an automatic slide door on the right as you enter the main set of doors. Service was fine. There's an Apple store for the fruity folks and trust me when I say go on a weekday at lunch time for no wait. It's true. Selection is getting thinner and thinner. Amazon is winning the war and it shows. Value...was there ever really a value coming to the mall? Delinquent youths aside, the value was partially social when this existed as an actual destination. And trust me, you can find it cheaper on Amazon...delivered to your door.

From Daiso to Bath and Body Works to Ulta to Old Navy, that pretty much sums up all of my shopping needs in one place. I like that all of the stores are still clean and not trashed yet. Maybe because no one really frequents here yet but I hope they stay clean and new unlike the Old Navy and Ulta on Laguna Blvd. There is a great variety of restaurants too. They're not 4-star, sit-down-with-a-menu type restaurants but I like all the options while I need a break from shopping. Also, as I'm writing this, there are Holidays decorations around the complex. I LOVE that. It's a nice touch to get you in the Christmas mood.

They also have a movie theater that has reclining seats. I've been to multiple places around here and pass here all the time to work. Depending on where you go they have decent service. Most recently found out there is a Walmart Super center near by. Daiso is a good store for all your home needs. Chick-Fil-A is good to eat here too. Some stores are pricey and others are fairly reasonable. I love Tastea so I'm glad it's located here too. I do still need to check out It's Sushi. The only thing it's missing a Miniso then this shopping center will be complete!

If you have lived in Roseville long enough, you remember when the Galleria didn't exist…read more It was built in 2000 and it instantly changed the shopping dynamic in the Greater Sacramento area. Once the Galleria opened up, people no longer wanted to just go shopping, they wanted to go shopping at The Galleria. Anything less and you weren't shopping at the best place possible in the area. Weekends, Black Friday shopping, Day after Christmas shopping, all were taken to the next level when the Galleria opened up. Nobody can ever forget when the Galleria was hit by a terrible fire in 2010 and was forced to be closed for repairs for about a year. I personally love the Galleria because they always have just about anything and everything to fulfill my shopping needs. It's also home to some of the best restaurants in the area, from the food court to the restaurants on the outer edges-so many food options. I think it's safe to say I've done my Christmas shopping at the Galleria just about every year since they opened in 2000. The Galleria is a true sense of pride for the citizens of Roseville and I couldn't imagine what it would be like if the Galleria ever went away. So if you ever are in the Roseville area and have a need to go shopping or maybe just window shop-don't hesitate to stop by the Galleria at Roseville. I'm sure a good time will be had.

Round1 arcade (1st floor) and Century theaters (2nd floor) are solid choices for killing time. Food-wise, the food court is on the second level and includes Shake Shack, McDonald's, and a lot of other choices including Italian and Thai. In addition to chairs for weary shoppers to rest scattered throughout the mall, there are also some high tops, which is nice if you grab a quick bite like a pretzel or Jamba Juice and want to chill while you eat. There is a huge parking lot around the mall as well as a parking garage near Round 1 and Century. There is also an outdoor kids' play area with shade near Crate and Barrel and Tiffany. Recent additions have included Blue Bottle coffee and Knee Deep Brewing is expected to open this year. The Galleria is expansive so be prepared for a workout unless you plan to stick to 1 store. Sign up for their emails or you can follow them on Facebook or Instagram for special events or sales. Thanks!

Plenty of parking unless it's during peak times. There's a mailer that goes out to the neighborhood that updates us on the activities. They keep this center very clean. I always see someone pushing a large trash bin and sweeping. ( Shame on those folks who throw their trash out!! ). It's nice to have a thriving neighborhood shopping center. There's grocery shopping at Trader Joe's and Cost Plus World Market, banking with Golden 1 Credit Union, dessert at the Cookie Jar, grab a burger at Carl's Jr., supplement your health with vitamins at GNC, etc. There's also a Sally Beauty Supply, UPS Store, Kohl's, and America's Tire. Did I mention Home Goods? Too many stores to list! It's not always the case that you find a mall this size with such a varied offering, and there's more than I listed above. Parking is plentiful and this place is well kept considering the amount of traffic that comes through here. I fully expect this place to continue to thrive after, or if, the new Costco is built just across the street. I highly recommend this shopping center! Support Elk Grove businesses!

There are also a number of excellent restaurants within also! Some of my favorite places are: Williams & Sonoma, Talbots Petites, Soma, Pavilions Shoes & Gifts, Cafe Bernardo, Piatti Ristorante & Bar, & Wildwood Kitchen & Bar. I love the upper class feel to this shopping center. It's such a nice change from the usual chain store malls. Lots of original stores, shops and places to eat. Calm, casual shopping is more my thing and this is the place to get away from the crowds of pushy people with uncontrollable children and teenagers. While you won't find discount department stores here, they make up for it with specialty merchandise that you may not find anywhere else. The shops are neat and clean, with pleasant atmospheres. Employees are friendly, polite and acknowledging when we enter the door. While I have to admit that as I grow older and on a fixed income, shopping in general is losing it's luster, this place lights a romantic spark as to what classy shopping is all about!
