Single scoop, 1020 ($4)

My favorite 'hidden gem' in Marina! I've never gotten water here but always went here for Marianne's icecream. I would recommend going here if you're having a quick ice cream fix! My favorite is the 1020, which is caramel ice cream with Chocolate Swirl and Chocolate Sandwich Cookies.

Tired of crappy water. Getting myself some good stuff

After reviewing various water delivery services, I decided to come here for my water needs in Marina. If you live here you know you can't drink the water from the faucet. And I'm tired of buying 1 gallon jugs at the store. This place didn't have much of a selection on coolers, but they said it was their best selection in a month and they were open! But that's not the biggest thing I want to talk about the water! I Purchased a water card which will allow me to fill up my 5 gallon jug for quite a few times I forget how many, But I'm set for a while. The water is filtered and tastes delicious. When you bring your jug to refilling, they sanitize it and clean it before refilling it. There's also have a cart you can use to roll the jugs to and from your car. I ended up purchasing a plain white cooler with a nice basic wood stand. I am so happy to have this water source in my home now. My brother-in-law got a scoop of ice cream because they're also known for the ice cream. That'll be on my next visits agenda. Stay healthy and drink your aqua! Oh, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful!!

I drive from Monterey to get my water jugs cleaned and refilled here. Excellent customer service and wonderful people.

Apparently they are part of Marianne's ice cream, a homemade brew from right here in the central coast (Santa Cruz).

I didnt have expectations and wasn't planning on doing a review since it was my first time here and not from the area. My photo doesn't do this place justice. I had already eaten a lot and got carried away and wasn't photo worthy anymore. I ordered the 2 entree plate: The lechon kawali was hands down the best I've had -- perfectly crispy without being tough. The texture was spot on, the flavor was amazing, and it came with two sauces that complemented it perfectly. Every bite was satisfying. Dinuguan (not in photo, savory pork stew) was also amazing. Fresh and well balanced. Of all the dinuguan I've had, this one stands out the most to me and wasn't like all the typical version of thicker and vinegary-ness. It's always great supporting small family-owned restaurants when the food is this good. Definitely coming back and highly recommend anyone craving authentic Filipino food to give this place a try.

A mom and pop shop that provides amazing service and great, yummy and fresh food! Recommend the lumpia and chicharrones if you want something fried. To pair with rice, pork or chicken adobo, Mechado, and Sinigang is a good choice! Plates are filled to the top and heavy for great price! They also have snacks in the front! Enough to share with 2 people if you dont eat much! This is my go to spot for lunch, they always have a lot of food to choose from!

Even the soups stand out -- comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients here. Everything tastes fresh, well-prepared, and never greasy or heavy like a lot of other places. On top of the food, the service is excellent. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Plenty of parking in the front. This has easily become our go-to spot for Chinese food, and it never disappoints.

I came in around 5pm for dinner service and was quickly seated. The wait staff were very friendly. They recommended the salt and pepper chicken (which I got the salt and pepper fish and wings). Kudos to Ho-Wah for giving me all-flats for wings without even asking! I did ask for a small side of steamed rice which they normally do not serve with the entree. The chicken was a little overcooked, and the fish a little soft. The seasoning and spices were good. I did add the hot sauce that came on the side which elevated the food. The portion was big, enough to share with another person. Price: $39.00 (20% tip included)
