Lolita's is located in the city of Soledad. It is a small family owned business on the main road of the small town. It was a busy Saturday afternoon when my couson brought us here. Although it was busy the staff had us wait outside until it was our turn to take our order and than room our name and had us wait outside again for our order. It's a covid protocol. Everyone is wearing a mask. If you have a sweetooth for a raspado which is shaved us with a flavor topping this is the spot. They have other items as well such as ice cream and bionicos. Stopped here to satisfy a milkshake craving. Nice people, expensive but enormous vanilla milkshake. "We'll never finish this." Spoiler alert -- we finished it. It was a really excellent shake, just the right consistency and sweetness. Wish we lived closer; we'd come here more often. read more

If you want friendly customer service. You have to wait til Owners kids are there. The owners are NOT friendly at all. Kids are always helpful and friendly. Prices have gone up recently. I go for the RASPADOS which i absolutely love there and yes it is overpriced but to me well worth it. Only FOOD I've actually gotten from there is the churro con cueritos. TOO MUCH LETTUCE. SOGGY TOMATO. 2 thin slices of Avacado and hardly any cueritos. Raspados, Ice cream and freshly squeezed juice are the only things I recommend there. read more

Stopped in after a day of hiking. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were fair. There were numerous flavors to choose from. I got the strawberry cheesecake in a waffle bowl. My husband picked mint chocolate chip in a bowl. Both were delicious. Super creamy and full of flavor. read more

Ice cream is creamy and delicious. The tamales are yummy (they even have a sweet one). And my favorite is the vegetable torta - so good.

Pinnacles National Monument is a fantastic, if not warm/hot place, even at the beginning of March. After a few hours hiking there, Soledad beckons on the way back home. We went looking for popsicles and we found this place - popsicle free, though they had sorbets and ice creams. We both had a single scoop (which in reality was a double scoop) in a regular cone - and sat outside to enjoy them. My lime sorbet was as good as a popsicle can ever get. So, everything so far points to a three star experience - what got the extra star? - price! $2.50 for both cones!! read more

Fantastic raspados!! They make their own syrups with real fruit. Their tamarindo flavor is sweet and tart and they also have jamaica flavor!(awesome) which is a flavor I haven't seen anybody else offer. Their bacon wrapped hot dogs and their tamales are also good. The only caveat I have is that they don't have a list of their raspado flavors. The syrup jars are on the counter and if you ask them they will tell you the flavors but they seem to get annoyed. I hope they start labeling them. If you want a great raspado, you have to try this place. read more

Lolita's is hands down the best place to get raspados. They have a very fresh taste. I have never tried any raspado better than the ones from here. It's one of the very few things to look forward to in Soledad. If you are ever in town, you definitely need to stop by here. Everything is really inexpensive and delicious.
