I boght a MRCOOL system over the summer for $4691.91. Due to issues on my side, could bot get it installed for a few months. So when i did contact them to get it installed, i called one of their installers to do the install. We had scheduled it to be completed a few days later, but that along with the next 2 times that he didnt show was 2 more weeks. When he did arrive to look at the system before he started, he found that the inside air handler was a different tonnage than the outside unit. 3.5 original tonnage with system that had been 23 yrs old. And the inside was a 3 ton. He said the air return section wasn't built right and they used wood where normally it would be metal sheeting for the return section and that my current ductwork wouldn't handle the flow of air from the new system. He said he'd tell Rick that evening about it, said he could bring a new one that was smaller and work with the system better, and take the MRCOOL back and Rick and I would work out a deal. So I tried to call Rick the following morning and that's when I realized he wasn't going to return my messages or calls. 2 more weeks went by and I finally got ahold of Rick. He talked to the installer and installer said something different than I had told Rick. Long long story short I spent over $5100 total for this system, and I now can't get the installer or the owner to return any calls about installation. It seems they don't want the job now. Why is that? I'm a customer who needs a system that they sold me, to be installed. (HVAC OUTLET does installs) and they are not communicating at all now. So I've found a company here to take the job and they will install from there. For sales of equipment and systems, they are probably the cheapest,but for service after the sale, they aren't even a 1 star. They simply refuse to contact you back, you just don't reach them either.Its difficult if not impossible to get through to the one ypu need to speak with there. I have a brand new system and the company I bought it from has completely ignored my having bought anything from them in the past. Avoid, you won't be happy when it's all said and done. ​ read more

This company is an extremely dishonest company to get the sale. Chad the sale person over promised and his installer under delivered on the install. I explained my situation to Chad and he said his installer could do the job, no problem. Turns out his installer couldn't complete the install but made sure to charge for the full install. I spoke with the owner Rick and he basically denied his salesperson as he has cameras up and would review them, but of course never did. He put me in contact with two of his buddy electricians who kept putting me off and I finally got a company out of Lexington to do the job to do exactly what was stated could be done. Of course I had to pay extra for that service call. Now I have left feedback on Facebook and he deletes negative comments and blocks customers from leaving further feedback. Very shady company. Luckily there are many companies that do this same service in Lexington. So much for supporting local businesses. It's a small town and I will make sure to spread the word about how bad they are. read more

Rick lied to us he sold us a gree unit and never mentioned Boreal although Boreal is made by gree he never mentioned Boreal when describing the unit over the phone he was rude and defensive when I questioned him he lied to me over the phone while having a gree rep on a 3way call basically he sold me a geo prisim while promising a Cadillac I will say he was fair on the price and did deliver late at night at his choice. however he was rude and lied about the product read more

They were prompt to install but didn't properly insulate the lines and offered poor (no) support after services were complete.

Beware of this company. New HVAC system and they have had to come fix it 4 times now.

Came out to replace entire HVAC system. Took off work so they could come on a Friday since they could not come Saturday and installer showed up with the wrong unit, had to reschedule. Finally showed up with correct unit and installed system. VERY poor quality workmanship. Left exposed wiring, cold air leaks into the attic in 3 places and the condensation drain pan filled up and leaked water into my ceiling, causing the ceiling to fall. Came out and repaired the wiring and cold air leaks but 3 months later, still waiting for ceiling to be repaired. Can never get ahold of installer to find out when ceiling is going to be repaired. read more

They don't care. Only purchased a unit because Chad promised me a 2 day delivery. Said I would have it Friday at the latest. Nope....nothing. Called and they could care less. It was for an out of town job that I was planning over the weekend. Worst customer service.....very nice until they get your money...then boom, nothing. They blame the trucking company. Funny thing is the trucking company doesn't even have a tracking number yet. Guess it didn't ship 4 days ago like they promised. Should have gone elsewhere. read more

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! Horrible service, even worse people! The owner claimed to be a Christian, then was almost impossible to get in touch with. He never provided a receipt, never gave us a refund that was owed on equipment that was not used but returned, and his installers were fly-by-night guys in a van who botched the install and would not fix the problems. I never was able to register the units under the "warranty" and after we sold the home, these guys would not stand behind their work even though the units were only five months old. They promised to come back over and over, said they would ship new parts over and over, and finally they just quit responding altogether. Very disappointing. The new owners of our home have been on emergency heat since Christmas because these guys have no integrity. read more

Rick, the unit you had put in for me was put in the exact same place not moved as you alluded to,and you said the copper tube that were attached to old unit would not but when hvac installer came said no wrong size, furthermore if you never blocked me then how come Facebook messages would say undeliverable as well as text an phone calls? Finally I called on another phone for an estimate at another house not my home where unit was installed. I have read numerous reviews on here an almost every one address similar issues thT I had with you and lies just like the ones you commented back to me. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Had a new system installed in March of 2020. Ac part worked great. Started getting cold, we have had nothing but trouble.owner acts like it's not working right because it's cold outside. The installer that they recommended, John Howard, is pretty much useless. He never returns phone calls and never shows up when he says he will. This system is new and should give us heat at least on emergency heat,but instead we are heating our house with a bunch of electric heaters. This is bull crap! Now we have to come up with a big bunch of money to get someone who knows what they are doing to come fix it. And with my fiance being a cancer patient, she gets cold alot. read more

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I called about a R22 A coil and was told they had one that was compatible for R22 and 410a. After having several HVAC companies out here they all said it was 410a only. I even called the manufacturer of the Acoil and gave him the model and serial number. He also said it was 410a only. When I called back they told me that everyone was wrong including the people that made it. Since I took it out of the box I can't return it. Now I'm stuck with something I can't use. Very frustrated with this place. Honesty goes a long way in my world. read more
