Chad is a very good choice for electrical needs, he was communicative, very thorough, excellent quality of work and just a very nice guy. We will continue to use him on our projects. read more

I received a repair request last minute and only had a short time to get an informed response from my buyer on a home inspection so we could submit a request to the seller. Chad was quick to get in and get us a quote for our response. Corrections were quickly made upon buyer closing . No complaints on the pricing. It's nice when people go the extra mile for a situation that had time constraints and a tight budget. Chad's my go to Electrician. read more

I contacted Chill Electric for a quote on installation of an EV charging station and a range hood outlet in our basement. He was prompt with all communication and thoroughly evaluated our setup. In the end, we needed a sub panel as well but I anticipated that since our 200 amp panel was full. The quality of work was excellent from first contact until job completion. The price was reasonable as well for the amount of work required (he had to run the cable up from the basement, through the attic, and down into the garage) and we can't be happier with the results. We'll definitely contact him in the future for all of our electric needs. read more

Since first using Chill Electric when a tree fell and tore the electric lines from our house, we've used Chill Electric two more times. And with all of our experiences, Chad, Chris, Tabitha and the entire Chill team have been professional, efficient and knowledgeable. We've contracted with Chill to repair and update the electrical lines as part of a kitchen renovation in our income property. With this, I can say that Chill was a definite partner. They worked with our contractor and gave great recommendations. It was easy to schedule with them, and the work was done on time. And then earlier this week, we brought Chill to our new home to make some fixes. A group of lights in a bathroom and an outdoor light and outlet weren't working, among some other things. These all ended up being super quick fixes, and I appreciated that Chris showed me what he did and explained it so I could do it on my own if one of the problems comes back. Can't say enough great things about them. read more

I called Chill Electric on a Wednesday morning. Chad was driving and reassured me that he would call me back shortly. 24 hours later I hadn't heard from him and called again. We set up an appointment on Saturday at 9:30am. I stressed that I lived 40 minutes from the job site so if anything changed please just give me a call or text. Fast forward to 9:45am Saturday and no Chad. I texted and he texted back around 10am. He said he was sick with severe strep throat, maybe Covid, and shivering with pain. His doctor appointment was in two hours. His comment was that I was "the last thing he thought about." I'm an owner of two businesses. We don't roll like that. Sick is fine and cancelling is fine but COMMUNICATE with your customers - if you could call the doctor you can text your client. I'm giving one star for an absence of communication and unreliability. Just to make sure I wasn't overreacting since I was frustrated in making a 90+ minute round trip in vain, I showed the text thread to four employees and a customer today. The reactions were unanimous - "don't think I would have said that." . read more

Chill Electric replaced four preexisting light fixtures in our new home and installed two brand new fixtures. They were prompt, courteous, and professional, and we're actually going to be hiring them again soon for some additional projects. Nothing but positives to report! read more

I called Chill Electric after a few other companies didn't answer their phone. Not only did they pickup right away, they made a special trip to get my requested job completed the same day! Chill Electric helped make a very uncomfortable experience better by coming out quickly to fix the problem and by moving things along faster with Code Enforcement even after I embarrassingly took my frustration out on them. They graciously accepted my apology and understood my frustrations - no electric in June with a small child! - and did their part to help move things along faster than normal. I'm very grateful for your help and highly recommend you to all! read more

When I bought my 1959 ranch, I didn't really notice how FEW ceiling lights were in the house. Do you know how difficult it is to cook under one dingy flush-mount light in a galley-style kitchen? No good. What do I love most about Chill Electric? How SIMPLE it was to schedule. No "let me come over to your house during a random time from 10-4 and do a walk though." It was as simple as a call and a text. Tabitha was so accommodating, even with my crazy schedule, to get something in the books. The pricing was extremely competitive, and they were awesome at making suggestions on can lighting. Chris, my technician, was prompt and so thorough. I trusted him to suggest the number of cans I needed for the kitchen, and I'm so glad I did. With three installed, it is the perfect amount of light and in the perfect spots. He installed my track lighting and dining chandelier in no time flat, but not before walking me through what was about to happen. Every step of the way, he took the time to explain the process, location, and finished look. Even better, he was so nice! These folks are good people, do great work, and are detailed through and through. If you're in Louisville, give them a shout. read more

Wow - you just made yourself look even more unprofessional. You stated that your operating hours that you post online may not always be correct, that some customers are more important than others, and you accused me of being fishy for writing a negative review. A professional learns from their mistakes and moves on. Good luck with your business. read more

Chad and Tony arrived timely. Before the work started we reviewed the work to be done. They got the work completed ahead of time. Chad was able to do some extra unplanned work as well. They cleaned up the work areas when they were done. Tabitha was informative with scheduling the appointment day & arrival. I will use Chill Electric again. read more

Chad provided free estimates on several things we wanted done...including a breaker panel and service replacement. Chad and his brother, Chris, performed the work quickly and very efficiently....at a fair price. Awesome to work with....including Tabitha who coordinated the scheduling. After a small electrical fire at our house happened due to the work completed by a different electrical company, we hired Chill to come out and help. As luck would have it, it was 4th of July weekend and we assumed no one would be available to help us. Chill was GREAT -- came out the same day, identified the problem, and fixed it the next day -- and all for a fair price. I hope we never have a fire again, but I know that if we have any electrical problems, they will be the first people that we get in touch with. read more

One of the best electric companies I have ever dealt with. They responded very quickly and had an electrician out to my house the same day. He was very professional and explained the process every step of the way. Customer service is very important to me and this company exceeded my expectations. The prices were fair and reasonable. If I ever have an electric issue in the future this will be the first company I call. read more

Chad did an excellent job in my son's house; it was an older home which made it more complicated to install an exhaust fan in his bathroom. Chad was professional , he takes pride in his work, you can tell he loves his job. He reassured me that he will do his very best as if he is working on his home . He did a superb job. No doubt , i surely would use him again, he is reliable ; surely would recommend him. Thanks Chad for job well done !! read more

They answer their phone, are polite, and show up on time. Sadly, in today's world just doing the basics makes you stand out. That said, Chill seems good group of people. The price was a little higher than I expected, but it was a small job and I didn't get another estimate so I have nothing to compare them to. They did cut a few dollars off the bill when I questioned the trip charge, so that was nice. I would use them again. read more

Chad and Brian where very easy to deal with and courteous about keeping everything clean. I had a service panel replaced and they finished quicker than I would have imagined. I highly recommend them very honest and explains the work involved simply and plainly. read more

Let me start with - this is the first time I've ever called an electrician in my life... All I can say is...unbelievable. Chris came over in the same day (same hour!) I called. I needed the GFI replaced on my koi pond quick and he was so professional and nice (not to mention conscientious about getting my rugs dirty - offered to take off his shoes.) Every interaction I've had with this company has been nothing less than fantastic! Reasonable pricing and a professional staff is what I'm all about! I will call them first every time! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS STILL ALIVE! read more

Can't say enough about how great these folks are!!! From the first phone call, Tabitha was very professional & courteous. The technician Chris was also very professional & courteous and in my opinion, went above and beyond to answer my questions and address my concerns.
