Been meaning to stop in since a long ago Guy Fieri episode of Diners Drive ins and Dives, plus…read moreplaying Fallout 76. It worked out for us on the drive back from Louisville. The set up is hilariously insane, worth the stop alone. The cashier was fun and friendly, and the graffiti in the women's room was inspiring! I have a basic bitch stomach, so got the "Puppy" with just ketchup. Sproßling got the Mothman, garnished with I believe onion rings and 1000 Island. Husband got his smothered in jalapeños. We split a full size onion rings, which were hot and tasty. We all had Gold Peak tea. The dogs tasted great, if I had a normal stomach I would have gotten a second one. As it was, we were in and out and back on the road quick as a wink!

We planned a trip to Williamsburg, VA over the week after Christmas. Coming from SoIN/Louisville KY area we are going I-64 E. About 200 miles later (and about 20 miles round trip out of the way) we ended up at Hillbilly Hot Dogs. So about the food... you'll see the pics of the dogs we ordered. Not fantastic hot dogs, but a good experience. The service was impeccable. If you left a tip the cashier sang a song. She had a really nice voice too! This place has a 3 choices for huge hot dogs with a couple of pounds of toppings. The Homewrecker, the Widowmaker, and Pick Yer Wrecker. We saw a guy and his wife eating one as we were leaving, and it was epic. It was a fun place to go to see some the nostalgia in the "old-time" things hanging as the decor.

HIGHLY recommend Bammy's Hot Dogs! We love the quintessential WV hot dog with chili sauce, onions,…read moremustard, and Cole slaw, so it was our mission to try as many as possible during our visit. I saw this one Yelp and loved that it was locally owned and focuses primarily on hot dogs and similar foods. Although they also put ketchup on their WV dogs, we opted for them without and they were by far our favorite!! Located on what appears to be a main drag of town, it's unassuming but also spacious if someone wants to sit and eat. The people who run it are super friendly, accommodating, and happy to help - something that's truly hard to come by in Florida. As for the food, it was SO good! We ordered 12 WV hot dogs, 1/2 regular and 1/2 with the Cole slaw on the side for better leftovers. Not only were they delicious, but they were happy to put the Cole slaw on the side so they made great leftovers too! We also tried the corn dogs, fries, onion rings, and fried bologna sandwich (another WV staple we are trying everywhere we can). The corn dogs were corn dogs and the fries were okay (we had gotten them for the kids), but the onion rings were very tasty and the fried bologna sandwich was amazing!! Their sauce is both slightly sweet but also has a nice kick - almost like Arby's sauce with some spice, and we all loved it! We have since tried 2 other bologna sandwiches and 3 other WV hot dogs and none have been as good as Bammy's so far! They definitely know how to do WV comfort food! If you ever find yourself in NW WV, you've got to try this place! E
