My developmentally delayed son attended Farine for Kindergarten. Whenever I think about the…read moredisgusting way he was treated there I am enraged. He is a very gentle, sweet, loving, and jovial boy who is non-verbal and pre-mobile (meaning he scoots on his butt or walks with a gate trainer to get around). In order to "protect him from the more rambunctious kids", he was tied down to a chair designed for a paraplegic allowing him no movement for the whole 8 hour school day. Week after week his teacher would report that he was always tired and sleeping in class as if I was doing something wrong at home. I couldn't figure out why when he had never had any issues going to bed early. Then, one day I got the day for kindergarten graduation mixed up and popped in on the class unexpectedly only to find him tied down, separated by himself, and parked in a corner. (The quotation at the top of the paragraph was the teacher's excuse.) I returned with the police to do a wellness check, so that his condition would be reported. The front desk receptionist (who was related to the teacher), called the teacher and told her to bring my son to the office so she wouldn't be caught red handed. Too many times during the school year, I was informed AFTER school that my son didn't eat that day for one reason or another (food allergy related mostly) instead of telling me to bring him something so he wouldn't have to starve all day. I spoke to the principal, vice principal, ARD committe, etc. and nobody cared about my son only what was convenient for the staff. I pray everyone involved reaps what they sowed into my poor helpless boy who suffered deep depression that school year because of their evil hearts. Including those teachers and staff members who watched this abuse and neglect only to make smart comments to me when I'd drop him off or pick him up to say, he needs to go bed earlier. Who wouldn't sleep if they were tied down, for 8 hours a day? Who would eat from the hands of people who treat you like the scum on the bottom of their shoes? Lord, please heal me and my baby. We deserved so much better.

I would HIGHLY recommend this school. My kids had a bad experience at a different daycare in the…read morearea and i was really nervous to start them here. Everyday my kids are very happy to come here. My children are 4 months and 17months so they are not yet talking to tell me how they feel but i can tell by their body language that they are happy. My 4 month old has been going here since he was 7 weeks and he LOVES his teacher. He is only 4 months and when he sees his teacher his smile goes from ear to ear , he starts cooing at her and giggling. Everyday they give me a paper on the times he has eaten and had his diaper changed... also they pay very close attention to the kids because they will tell me when they notice something different in my kids. For instance ms.falguni told me that my son was not acting the same and the next day he had a cold and a fever! she told me to pay close attention to him overnight and she was right. I can go on and on about how much i love them. The director is also there everyday at the front desk available to talk if you have any concerns. She is not only at the desk but she is also in the classrooms as well , when my kids come in she greets both of them by name ! when my 17 month old first joined , they did not just throw him in with toddlers , they eased him in slowly to make sure he would not have any problems , as far as kids scratching him/biting/fighting since he was about 13 months at the time he was not as advanced as the 18 month old toddlers, he was also much smaller. I will randomly sing a song like ABC's around him to see how he reacts to see if they sing it to him at school and he gets really excited and starts to dance and clap. He did have an indecent one time when he was bit but they gave me a full report on it soon as i walked into the classroom, and it has not ever happened again. I'm not sure on how they tolerate biters , but they did definitely resolve this issue! One time my son had a scratch on his face because he did it himself at home over the weekend and as soon as i walked in , the director noticed it even though it was small and she asked me what happened and i love that ! they are on top of everything and VERY organized! They do have a facebook page but its not as active , i think it would put the cherry on the top if they posted on their facebook page at least twice a week with videos and pictures of the kids doing activities. Im sure i left out plenty of amazing things , but i didnt want to make this post too long.
