Now that he's somewhere else with people who actually has patience for him.. he's calm when I pick him up. The director said some pretty foul things to me, and didn't even apologize she's a awful person.. Don't recommend this place unless you like getting harassed about your child having a runny nose, sneezes, or blinks.

We took them out until we could figure out what was going on. When we were ready to have them go back our spots had been filled. I did a search of the area and stumbled upon Happy Tree. Ms. Danielle was extremely responsive and we had a brief phone call before we toured the school. During the phone call with Ms. Danielle it just felt right. When we toured, I knew it was right. When they were enrolled, they had just turned two and within weeks I could see a huge difference in their growth and development. They are now 4.5 and came home one day and recited all the presidents! They are writing and spelling their names, adding and subtracting and much, much more. It's extremely bittersweet that they are moving on and we will very much miss Happy Tree and all they've done to prepare them for their future education.

My son attended Happy Tree starting at 12 weeks (Jun 2018) in the Infant 1 classroom. He was so…read morewell taken care of. He became so comfortable with the teachers in his class that he would specifically look for them when he walked in the building. They are so loving and caring. I had some apprehension because my son has a hearing aide that needs to be removed for naps and water activities. It is also extremely difficult to get him to keep it in and for other students not to yank at it. They took the time to learn how to place and remove the device and also helped him keep up with it. As he moved up in classes, he became just as fond of the new teachers as the old and they encouraged some independent learning. They also got him to eat vegetables almost everyday which is impossible at home. We wouldn't have believed it if we didn't see it with our own eyes. Another great thing about the facility is you can pop in on your child any day or any time. They have an open door policy for parents and it makes you feel at ease when they are willing to be so open. We moved and had to change child care. It was a difficult decision to make because our son enjoyed his classmates and teachers so much.

I felt like a horrible parent but God sent me Metropolitan Christian Academy (daycare center) and my kids are with real educators that care. My 4 year old knows all 66 books of the bible and he's being interviewed for the talented and gifted program. Desoto private is a joke, if you want your kids to have fun everyday please sign up they go to the skating ring, trampoline park and movies 3 days a week. But your kids will be dumb as a box of rocks and after working a full shift at work you will have 5-7 pages of homework a week for a 5 year old. Just because they're white doesn't mean they're doing right. I was told by a dear friend that the kids that went to Desoto private aren't learning anything but I had to learn the hard way, but if I can save another child/parent time and money I've done my job. Not to mention you have to pack a lunch every day. This school should be closed down. Their funding needs to be looked into seriously.

My…read morechild went here for over a year and sadly it took me dropping in many times unannounced before I noticed the real problems. For the younger children there is not a real playground only a small fenced in area that is half the size of the room that they are kept in all day. There are no toys in the room only a television that is on throughout the day to keep the children's attention. The small room next to it that you are told the children play in is never actually used at all! My concerns were confirmed by a substitute caregiver they had for a short time. When I called the owner out on it she had no response at all except to try and divert the question. My child at the time was in the middle of being able to be transferred into the room with the children who actually get to use the playground that you are shown, unfortunately when she was moved I noticed that all the children in her new class were unhappy and cried most of the day because the teacher for that class was very cross with the small children. My child wasn't even 3 yet and the other kids were all about the same age. My child started to cry every day and not want to go to the center. But my husband tried to encourage me to give it some more time for her to adjust. So I did and the final straw was when my child game home with a very serious bite mark. I asked the owner about it she promised to investigate but has dogged my calls every since and not returned my emails. I even sent her over pictures of the bite (which was very deep and dark). The thing that is most troublesome is that we were told that there are cameras which the owner can access at anytime to help ensure the safety of our child, however she has no answers for us now. I understand things happen amount children, but we're was the adult supervision? Where were the cameras (one of the reasons we chose this center)? At this time my child is still enrolled this all happened very recently however we are searching for a new center that works out for us and my mother in law (who often picks up or drops off our child). Check daycare alert: no one is properly CPR trained etc.There are crickets, ants and roaches in the building and she doesn't care . Doesn't update parents, doesn't use any app for daily communication with parents. Everyone uses the same door code, teachers don't follow parents feeding schedules.The car port leaks water so it rains you are just soaked. Over ratio in the morning and evening for transition periods. They leave the rooms at will and leave kids unattended .And she had the nerve to do a price increase.

He was sent home several times "soiled", my son wakes up on him being "scolded" for letting his nose run and not wiping it, boo boo in his undies and all I asked was some one ensure he wipes his butt when done because he still learning, several scars and bruises "unexplained" finally after numerous complaints to the directors they wanted me to come get him if he don't sit down or stop crying and every thing I complained about I was given and excuses for never know, accountability was held on the teachers. Also, I found out there was like one teacher watching over 20 quids at times that's too many for one person even if the child doesn't have any disabilities, so after thinking, they was gonna work with me because I was working with the disability at a local school to get him in, I got a letter that they was like with his last day of this day. I didn't wanna send him back because he was coming home with too many bumps and bruises and issues so I literally paid for five days that he didn't even go. it's not the whole staff, but they really need to get more staffed. It's more family that works there and people help out what they can. The toys are outdated or broken, it needs a new makeover. Ultimately go for yourself make unexplained, unexpected visits and see for yourself. miss Sammy is a guy sent. She's very helpful. Try to help the kids with the most issues and she is what hoes that place together and they do her even bad in my opinion.
