It is heavy to leave this review. My son spent 5 years too long here. I should have taken him out at the first slight of disappointment. The fact that multiple teachers leave after a year (or two) and people tend to pull their kid out of this school speaks volumes for itself. This is a school where the "name" exceeds the experience. As a very involved parent, whose child is was also a minority here, there was a lot of nitpicking that went on and pointing out things in my child that I would see in other children volunteering yet it doesn't seem like anything was done for the other children as far as disciplinary actions. Ms. Wallin is also a problem, she plays favorites and watch out if you or your kid isn't one of them. There is unfairness that goes on with administration and some teachers. They hold kids accountable for things they did in Kindergarten, even if it's been years, unfavorable kids must be perfect. I remember being so excited when my child got into Uplift North Hills feeling like he was going to be supported mentally, emotionally, and academically. I've had teachers tell me they take their children out of this school before middle school and high school so 'their kid to be a kid'. If you don't want your kid to be well rounded with sports, social skills, and experiences, along with academics, welp.. this may be the school for your child. read more

School administrator colluded with my ex-wife to hinder my parental rights to my son. Officials didn't even care to ask or communicate with me and had me removed from the school for trying to maintain my parental rights. They will degrade, discard you and completely ignore your request for anything that you might be requesting. read more

So Far our 5th week here. So many challenges as far as dropping my kids off. If you are considering just know the car line is a nightmare. They express how no one can be allowed to drop off before 7:25am however none of the parents follow the rules. If you get in line ON TIME you risk dropping your child late. I have found that parking by the apartments and walking is the less stressful route to dropping off. My biggest problem so far is rude staff making unnecessary comments in the morning. They talk down on parents in the morning and have a negative attitude. The lady in the picture this morning I quote her exact words. "All the goodbyes are blocking MY sidewalk". I literally wasn't blocking anyone. I tell my son bye every morning to help his self esteem. What makes me upset is she said it so loud that he was confused too and he had to hear that. It makes me wonder if that's how they speak to my kids while in school. I'm going to write an email later today because I'm getting tired of attitude like this almost on a daily. read more

So basically, I'm an ex-student of this school. I went here from K-6, and I want to leave my experience over all of these years. So basically, Kindergarten, I forgot most of it, but it wasn't bad for me. Found a few friends, had fun, just like the normal days, Then 1-5, it also wasn't bad. I enjoyed it pretty well (as well as COVID 4th grade). There were some bad moments I didn't like. Now 6th grade is the reason why it's 1 star (mostly). Firstly, for 1A, I had the most goated science teacher. Then 2nd period 2Acame, it was reading elective because I did bad on my 5th STAAR. Then 2nd semester was when I got P.E. Reading elective was so incomprehensibly buns, but PE was decent. 3A was tech, and it wasn't horrible but I feel like there could be improvement. 4th period was math, and that was my 2nd favorite class. 1B was spanish, which was tough but I got through with a HS credit. 2B was band, best experience in that time. 3B was History, and I actually didn't like history until this point. The teacher was pretty awesome. 4B was english, and it was absolute HELL. The teacher was just sexist and absolutely crap. Luckily she got fired next year, and none of yall had to go through that. Unfortunately I'm not in the position where I remember most of my UNHP career, so I'm not 100% accurate. I go to Coppell, and I went for 3 years Coppell. Staying until I graduate. This school is a breeding ground for stress, anxiety, and depression. I have not gone a day without at least 1 full hour of homework. This school had me pulling all-nighters at the age of 11. I have never had a full, happy night of sleep since I joined the school, while doing the truckloads of homework. I have been a scholar since the 5th grade; now I am in the 8th grade. In 5th grade, I was welcomed into the school. I was in a happy friend group with lots of connections. I had a main friend group with a high popularity level. The next year, it all went downhill. Every student started to bully me for being me. I could not say a single word without being judged or bullied. I attempted to use the restroom... HORRIBLE PLAN, I went to the urinal and then guess what happened, on my school uniform WHITE SHIRT, a leak from the high school bathroom stained one shoulder a radioactive yellow, not to mention the stench. One person is ruining my whole school year. She is taking new students, and she is making them part of her annoying, dreadful, popular friend group. These people make me wanna become an autistic hamster running around in a hamster wheel while coated in blood. I wish I had never stepped into the doors of this god-forsaken building. They care more about your first impression rather than who you are currently. I have a friend who made a bad first impression in this school and is treated like the dirt that is everywhere outside. Someone can't get along with someone on the other end of the popularity scale. When someone gets to a certain point where they know everyone, they forget about human decency. Some teachers deserve to be messed with, while some are kind. My band teacher gets endlessly harassed by the popular friend group in the band class, who waste all of our class time. I can't write about all of the stupid things that have happened in my school. To shorten it, I would say proudly that I would rather be mauled to death by wild wildebeests with my rotting corpse strapped to an electric chair turned on, being thrown out of the school buses we do not even have. read more

I don't like this school its the worst everyone is mean and some are nice but a lot are mean and some teacher might not even care. They pushed the rules to make it more strict because I got late to a class and I got detention just for being late. I also hate that this school doesn't teach well. All the teachers are strict and mean but the principles are ok. I also hate that some students in this school always brag about their grades and some being in a higher math level then the others. Sometimes I just always think to myself on why I get pushed around and my friend does too. I want to find a better school than this. My biggest problem so far is rude staff making unnecessary comments in the morning. The school food here is terrible which does make my stomache hurt abit. Everyone if your reading please take my advice and save yourself by choosing a different school and not get in trouble for the tiniest things. I also hate about summer reading because there is no point of summer if we have more school work over the summer. I am a current student at Uplift North Hills Education. I have learned some "interesting" things at this school. The bullying situation is NOT under control. Half of this school has depression from the overworking that the school puts us in. The bathrooms are very unsanitary and there are feminine hygiene products on the bathroom ceilings. 7th graders are threatening 6th graders. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone unless you want your child to experience what I have. This is a warning from an actual student. DO NOT ATTEND! read more

I feel it is my responsibility to warn you to avoid this institution. After spending my entire academic career here, I have reached a point of unbearable stress due to the poor quality of teaching, uncooperative peers, and terrible food. Please take my advice and save yourself the trouble by choosing a different school. read more

I'm a student here at UNHP and I think its A very good school! Its an IB school and the staff are amazing the lunch isnt as bad as other schools (still pretty bad but thats just how it is!) Heres the thing, if you go here until 12th grade...... Youll get excepted into more schools! read more
