The mugs are adorable, the chai tea lattes are amazing, and I've even recommended/featured this café in our SNA newsletter because of how much we enjoy it. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing because of the interaction I had with an employee named Adora. I always order the egg white sandwich with over-easy eggs instead, and while I completely understand that mistakes happen, the sandwich had to be remade multiple times before it came out correctly. That part did not bother me at all - what bothered me was the attitude and demeanor I experienced from this employee while trying to get it resolved. A friend of mine mentioned she has had a similar experience with the same employee, which made me feel like this may not have been an isolated situation. That makes me sad because this really is one of our favorite places to visit, and I would hate for other customers to leave feeling uncomfortable or dismissed. I still absolutely recommend this spot, and one bad experience will not keep us away. I just hope this can be addressed so future customers have the same warm, welcoming experience that made us love this place in the first place.

Interestingly, the biscuit was grilled (which I don't usually like) and didn't look like anything special. However, it was quite tasty and nice and fluffy. 4+ stars here. The bottom line Would I return? Absolutely. Three reasons (1) the food, although not outstanding, was fresh and good (2) the ambience was super. If you're looking for a place to come down from the stress of the day this is a great place to choose. (3) the cost of my breakfast is outstanding ($16 for my entire breakfast). They also had a fridge with some juices and drinks, and a display box with buttermilk bakery pastries. I love the chalk board with featured items too. I got 2 drinks here: an iced latte with honey syrup for my friend and an iced cider americano for myself. I forgot to ask for the americano decaf when I ordered, but they very kindly made it decaf when I caught them before adding the espresso. The latte was really good, and the honey syrup was really nice. The pastries from buttermilk bakery were amazing as always. But then there was the americano. I was so excited for this cider americano, I absolutely love cider and I had been thinking about trying it all week since I saw their seasonal menu on instagram. I got in the car, but I didn't try it until I was about halfway home, and that was a mistake. Now, friends, I am from Massachusetts, which is a country of great apple abundance. We love our cider, and we're all pretty aware of the dangers of bacterial contamination in the cider making process, and how you can easily create the repulsive tasting and smelling dream wrecking cider ruining disaster that is butyric acid. Butyric acid is what makes vomit smell and taste like vomit. So when you get butyric acid in your cider, it tastes like, you guessed it, vomit. And if you get that vomit taste, you need to chuck the whole batch or it could give you diarrhea and vomiting. This cider Americano very sadly tasted like vomit. While I was pretty confident in my assessment after taking many sips and wondering if I'd imagined it, I had my friend try the drink too, and he confirmed that it tasted like vomit. Now, if I'd called and they'd shown some remorse and maybe apologized and said they would look into it, then maybe I'd be giving a 3 or 4 star review, but that's how I found out that they don't have a phone number posted. So now I'm here, home with a coffee that I can't drink, trying to figure out the best way to tell these people that their cider is likely infected and could get people sick. Normally if I got that same order at Starbucks it would've been like 10 bucks. Before he has a sip of his coffee, I will actually be tasting it because I've never had Foxtail coffee before. I really like the spot in particular they have a drive-through so if I'm in my car or making errands, I can just do the drive-through. The person doing the drive-through and making the coffee is very quick. I've only been waiting about 3 to 5 minutes so far. Just took a sip of my friends coffee that I got him and it tastes amazing. Lots of seating here and most days you'll probably find it full of college students as it's just down the street from UCF. I tried a barista special coffee and it was decent. A lot of their specialty drinks are super sweet unless you ask for otherwise. I do like the assortment of pastries and goodies they have here. There's also a drive thru which can be a convenient option. Plenty of seating in here to be able to sit and stay for awhile.
