We went through the drive-through of this Human Bean while we were in Greeley for some errands. My spouse and I both had heard great things about The Human Bean but never went to any while we lived in Greeley so we decided to give them a try. The wait was kinda long because I guess the person in front of us had a complicated order, about ten minutes. And normally I'd be upset about that because that feels like a long wait for coffee but the staff were very friendly and the coffee itself was great; I've told a few people about how good the coffee and chocolate covered espresso beans (we had no idea that they give you a free one but accepted it when offered) are. I got the huckleberry truffle drink (I forget the exact name) iced and it was delicious! My spouse, who normally hates coffee, said he'd drink it. And the chocolate covered espresso bean was so good too! I hope to make it back to a Human Bean sometime soon. read more

Since moving here, I have become absolutely obsessed with this coffee shop! Drive-thru service is extremely quick and the baristas are always super friendly. I seem to always find myself during their busier times, but the wait has never been unreasonable. The menu consists of your typical coffee and tea options, as well as their own blended coffee drinks and smoothies. Their coffee is absolutely amazing -- you can taste the freshness of the coffee and is super flavorful. The days I'm not feeling coffee, I opt for a smoothie, which are also super tasty. Smoothies have a perfect level of sweetness and doesn't have an artificial taste to it like other coffee chains serve. Also I appreciate that they do not overblend their drinks to the consistency of baby food, so that's an added plus. Extra perk is the chocolate covered coffee bean! Highly recommend. read more

Well. After being a daily customer for 14 years, I'm really glad there is now plenty of competition in town (Ziggy's, Dutch Bros, Blue Mug). I was upset that they raised their prices mid pandemic last year and didn't go for months. Now they've done it again and I've decided I'm done. They think they're making more money by raising their drink prices a few cents a year... but my Human Bean expenditures have "stepped down" considerably, even with higher prices. I used to spend $400/mo. Last year, with my dissatisfaction with their practices, even with their higher prices, I spent half that. This month, I've spent abt $15/week, while I try out new things from other places. So glad for the varied and new coffee shops in town. read more

Despite the fact that I've tried to abstain, I go to this store daily....or if I'm trying to "cut back," five times a week. You know how they say that you can get rich from skipping your daily coffee shop drink? Yeah, well, looks like I'm not getting rich anytime soon! I did NOT drink coffee AT ALL until I was in my late 30's and working on a master's degree. I got a coupon pack in the mail from the Human Bean: First one was a "Free 8 Ounce" My husband bought the 8 ounce, and I drank the whole thing....(the first coffee I ever drank). The following week, we went back with our "BOGO" coupon and he got one; I got one. This time it was a 12 ounce. I drank it all. Again. An added bonus was that the coffee helped me to stay awake during my craziness of being a mom and going back to school. They went out of business once a few years ago, and I frantically went all over NOCO to find a coffee that I liked and that did not make my stomach hurt. I was devastated, but I stopped drinking coffee completely when they were out of business. I was over joyed when someone purchased the chain and they opened again.... Many, many years later....and I'm still stopping by the Human Bean daily. read more

Starting to think they don't care about the Customer. i have stop after work every day this week just to be let down. They aren't open and when they are they don't get it right. I love this little coffee drive through. It's much much better than the big named coffee chain and they always offer you a chocolate covered coffee bean. If you're not in the mood for coffee they have Italian sodas and Redbull smoothies. For an extra bonus they offer a punchcard where your 11th drink is free. read more

Our second trip to The Human Bean, first was in Tempe, Az. Gotta say, the coffee bean "candy" they put on top of the coffee is what brought us back. Yum! FYI: Their fruit smoothies can be ordered without a milk product. We got just the fruit...it was more like an Icee, but still tasty. I always tip and always get a kick out of the themed tip buckets, but the considerate thing for the barista to do would be to say thank you! After moving from Florida to Greeley CO my wife and I needed to find a coffee shop to replace our favorite coffee shop in Florida. Well I think we may have found it. The coffee specialist were very nice and after we informed them that we were first timers here they went out of there way to make sure that our coffee experience was the best. I had the worst experience this morning. I had to wait for 15-20 minutes in one line while the other line moved quite fast. When I was second in line someone came out and was taking orders from the cars behind me so that when I got to the window they could have started on the cars orders behind me. I let her know that I was unhappy as I handed over my punch card which also saves me $1 per drink. She ended up giving me my coffee for free but punched my twice so now I also lost out on the ability to save on two future drinks. read more

Best coffee in greeley. Puts Starbucks to shame. Great staff too that is friendly and efficient. They know their customers orders and if the drive thru is backed up your order will probably be ready when you reach the window. They have 2 drive up windows and a walk up window.
