I had such a pleasant encounter Tuesday morning at this location. I wasn't able to make my usual coffee at home because I was running a little late so I stopped by. This happened to be the closest coffee drive thru to me. At the drive thru, a handsome young man who took my order (in person) told me he hoped the rest of my day was great! When I got to the window, the barista asked me if I had this order before and encouraged me to try the concoction before I left, in case I didn't like it she could make me a different drink. I really appreciated the friendliness and hospitality I received from these two! I got a small pumpkin caramel cold brew for $5. And some tip. I think this price is really steep. But eh! Being that it was our first time at Dutch Bros we really appreciated the staff member that took our order. He was very patience and told us about Dutch bros as well as customized our order to our liking. Then when we got to the video to pay, the staff member there was very pleasant and even gave us some words of encouragement. Upon drinking our custom frappe, we were blown away by the flavors of the coffee and chocolate/vanilla mixture. I finished half of mine before I left the parking lot. I usually have a really good experience at this location. But this morning the coffee they gave me the cup was covered in expresso. Then on top of that I went to drink it and realized that the pumpkin flavoring I asked for was missing. Only to lift up the double cup and find it in there. Wow! This place is super fun! My son and I walked up (we were lame and didn't realize it is drive thru only - totally our bad). But it was so nice to walk up. There is an outdoor counter and seating and it was a gorgeous morning. The counter service was amazing. She was super helpful and took the time to give us suggestions and show us the many different flavors. She even confirmed my crazy drink order had a name! "Flying Eagle" is a mix of vanilla and caramel syrups. Only complaints about this place were: the music (way too loud and crazy for an early Saturday morning) and the temperature of my coffee (I asked for extra hot and it was like warm). I've never had Dutch Bros before and we were on our way home to Cheyenne from Aurora and we had to get it! A very friendly employee helped recommend some drinks to us and we surprisingly really liked it. I normally don't get white chocolate in anything and he suggested the Dream Weaver (white chocolate, hazelnut) for me. We don't remember what my husband got but it was like a hot chocolate milk drink (possibly the Cookie?). Amazing service and it wasn't too busy around 8pm. read more

Dutch Bros is very close to the main office for where I work and I occasionally drop over for a drink. I have mixed feelings on their coffee options, but the service at this location is outstanding!! I am a black coffee kind of guy on the vast majority of days. At Dutch Bros you don't have that as an option and that makes me sad. You can get an Americano, but let's be honest...that's not the same as a fresh brewed cup of coffee. I am confused by a "coffee" shop that doesn't have black coffee as an option, but maybe that's an old fashioned idea?? This is the ONLY reason I don't feel right about giving a 5 star review. In any case, they have some great options for those who like a little coffee flavor in their sugar drink and there are certainly times when I am in the mood for that. When I am, I am very happy with a drink from Dutch Bros. Their blended frozen drinks are terrific! They are creamy, flavorful, and consistent. The young people who work inside this little drive-thru shop are so great at customer service. I have walked up for a drink and I have used the drive-thru on several occasions. I have never come for a visit when I wasn't greeted with a smile and they always engage in conversation as well. I end up joking and chatting with the person at the window every time and I leave feeling good about my visit. Final note: this is not the place to go for working or meeting up with someone. We were usually Dunkin fans, but saw this place always crowded with cars when we drove past. So we decided to try it out and it's awesome! The people of northern Colorado have seen a lot of new dutch bros stands pop up very quickly and now the customers are suffering because of this. Since I first started hearing about dutch bros 8 years ago you did not often hear about how great their drinks were but instead how great of an experience they had. With this rapid growth not only is the quality of product going down a little bit but the experience has gone down a lot! The "Broistas" are losing the culture very quickly which is sad. Another disappointing thing is the roll out of the app which is going to quickly lessen the human interaction and takes away the small business feel that things like the stamp card provided along with the ability for a "brosita" to take of a customer like they were once capable of. read more
