I can't afford to shop there regularly, but their bi-annual sales are legendary. Everything eventually comes down to 75% off. The staff are friendly and cheerful and very classy for this sleepy town (but I'm biased- some of them are Wake students). I should also mention the location- a shocking pink former gas station on the strip of Reynolda Road inhabited by Pink Mink, Fabians, 1703 and the Krankie's silver bullet. A must-stop for anyone driving back to the West End or Downtown from campus on a Friday afternoon. After you've finished sipping your iced coffee and blown your money on the summer sale, drive a bit further down Reynolda towards the west end and reward your exertion with a gelato from Cafe Gelato.

The first occurrence was stopping by, and being ignored for a long time. When I inquired about consigning, the woman snapped that I needed an appointment to do so. Totally understandable. I called at a later time to set up at appointment, and the woman answering the phone was rude again. She barked about the having a long time before I could get at appt, and the rules about seasonal consigning. Again, fine, I figured she was busy and being direct. I set up appointment for weeks later. At the appointment, I arrived on time, and stood for a long time with an arm load of clothes being ignored. This should have been my sign to leave, but I waited. She sorted through my things, taking most, but making a comment about "Lilly Pulitzer doesn't really sell well, but we will take it." The whole interaction left me feeling very unwelcomed and weird. Again , fine, I was still willing to consign some clothes. When my time came around to pick up money, and the clothes that didn't sell, I arrived at the shop. I again was ignored for a long time. When I stood at the counter, the woman started helping me, then stopped to help another customer, then, a bridal appt. She literally walked off to deal with the appointment, never letting me know she was leaving. Finally another woman helped me, as she had a conversation with a different customer, the entire time. She handed me my money , as she talked to the other person. I collected my money, unsold clothes and left , vowing never to return. The vibe is completely off there, very tense, dark and unwelcoming. The shop even feels crowded, which would be perfect fine, if the staff was welcoming and nice. Prepare to feel like a less than intruder if you do business with them.

This is a small little consignment shop but offers a wide variety of brands, a small section of shoes, and a pretty decent array of purses. As we all know this places are hit or miss but I did walk out with one cute black top (you can never have enough black tops). I did try on some citizen jeans but unfortunately they did not fit! The lady that working there was also really nice and got me a dressing room right away. This place will definitely be a weekly/biweekly stop.

Came in, there was a couple already in the store - there was one clerk already helping them; the other was on her phone. I literally walked by her twice - nothing. While we were getting half(2) of our group of measured and fitted - a prom group(6-8) walked in and all the attention was directed to that particular group , leaving us waiting . We arrived first and there prom group all left before us. We spent two total hours in this store.needless to say we were very disappointed . Fast Forward to pick up time . One of the suits arrived measured wrong ,the coat jacket and pants were too long and the suit jacket alone needed extra alterations due to statue . Ronnie recommended a tailor in which we used to get the look we were looking for. Unfortunately that tailor wasn't successful. We felt defeated because after speaking with Ronnie about issue of the suit he couldn't exchange it due to alterations being done to the suit . We accidentally found a nice gentleman who did alterations while looking for a new suit at a different business. He immediately understood the issues we expressed in the suit and immediately began pinning . Needless to say he was the real deal and we will use his services and suits from this point on. Not to mention a person from our party paid for his suit completely including alterations for his paints just to pick them up and be told that he hadn't paid for the pants . Baffled because we couldn't figure out how he would have all other pieces to his suit except paints ... So unorganized. I'm giving a two star because a salesman by the name of AJ worked so hard to get things right but to could only do so much because he did no do alterations. It's imperative to treat every customer like your- "first customer of business ". Don't drop the ball because you think someone might not buy something.
