The employees were super helpful and refilled our paint whenever we asked and were helpful in the whole process and even gave me some filtered water for drinking at their station. The staff were nice enough to let us do our project but I definitely think you need more than 1.5 hours even for a small project. I was already feeling a bit rushed which was no one's fault but our own for not checking the timing. We both decided to design a small plate. The staff were helpful in explaining where everything was and different tips to help make our designs better. The designs came out really cute! I would definitely come back but would for sure spend at least 2 hours if not more so I could do a bigger project.

I made a vase. My wife made a bowl & lid. I accidentally broke a part of my vase off at the top while making it. But Cait gave me a great idea. Why not put roses at that spot? She showed me how to make them. I would have never thought that I could make something like this. 2 weeks later we went back to paint our pieces (a few doors down at a different studio). Even after a few coats, the paint looked dull. Then we went back at a later time to pick our pieces up. WOW!! You can see in the included photos. The firing brings the colors out so vibrant. It was super important for the kids to take home what they worked on; waiting a whole week for a pot to cure and dry is something we can save for a future birthday. Once we selected our items, we paid and were set up at a table with paints, brushes, and an apron. I'm so glad she made sure we knew the paint didn't wash out of clothes.
