Even better it's adjacent to a paid parking garage so we were steps away from the restaurant on such a freezing cold night. The waitress was helpful because all the appetizers sounded so good. We went with her eggplant suggestion. I could've had that as a meal. I can be quite picky about the bread on a table, but this was delicious. It was warm with a nice crust with olives and Evo. I ordered the Pappardelle bolognese it came with a dollop of mascarpone. So good and hardy I couldn't finish it all. Hubby ordered the shrimp Fra Diavilo with pasta. The spice was just the way he likes it. For dessert it was an easy decision, tartufo is always a win! Of course, what is a Birthday without the staff coming out to sing. To top it off on Mondays it's half price pizza and pasta!

I went with four girl friends so we ordered 3 appetizers for the table then dinner. we ordered the stuffed artichoke the mozzarella corraza and the truffle fries. The Mozzerella was terrible very dry and over fried. we changed it for the eggplant appetizer. Then dinner came out 3 lot of 5 dishes were dry sauce with penne ala vodka sauce with chicken was bone dry one girlfriend got the pasta and broccoli rabe there was no sauce whatsoever. My other girlfriend got chicken franchise again bone dry. I am not sure what the chef was thinking, but obviously something was wrong. I'd give it two out a five stars. I don't mind paying high prices for food, but obviously this place was a swing in a miss.

The food was impeccable, and I must say, they truly do their meats extremely well. Here are some of the things we ordered. Please bear in mind that we had it family style, and the portions are humongous. - Antipasto - They truly had a sublime selection of Italian-style cured meats, which included Prosciutto di Parma, Soppressata, Mortadella, fresh Mozzarella Pearls, Red Onions, salad underneath, and balsamic glaze drizzled over the top, providing a sweet-tart contrast. It was a very nice high-end charcuterie platter. 5/5 Stars. - Fried Calamari - They lightly floured and fried it. Personally, I preferred it to be fried a bit more. 4/5 Stars. - Eggplant Rollatini - stuffed with ricotta, topped with marinara, and melted mozzarella. The eggplant was sliced thinly and was generously stuffed. 4/5 Stars. - Penne Vodka - They were in a light tomato pancetta cream sauce. I personally preferred a little spicier. 4/5 Stars. - Orrechiette pasta served with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and sausage, broccoli rabe, and basil in garlic & oil. They overcooked the sausage, but regardless, it truly was exceptional. 5/5 Stars - Shrimp scampi - It was overcooked. 3.5/5 Stars. - Boneless Roasted Chicken Cacciatore - the chicken was so tender and juicy. 5/5 Stars. - Pork Loin Giambotta - They grilled it to perfection, and it was still juicy. This dish was accompanied by mushrooms, onions, and peppers. 5/5 Stars. - Mashed red potatoes - Creamy and smooth. 5/5 Stars. The service was impeccable. They constantly came over to see if there was anything we needed. Plenty of wine and beer flowing, exchanging of dirty dishes for clean dishes, and ensuring we have everything we need.

We had a wedge salad and lobster bisque soup. The portions were HUGE. I took home 1/2 of my soup I had the eggplant parmigiana with penne. I asked it to be served heat hot but it was more on the cool side. The eggplant had too much breading on it so it took away from the taste of parmigiana. My husband had penne with sausage and broccoli rabe. His dish was hot and he ordered a 1/2 portion but was overflowing. Both portions were very large and we took it all home. The decor was tastefully done for the holiday theme. Sorry to say I wasn't crazy about my dinner. But in another year, may go back

Our whipped ricotta appetizer arrived without the honey drizzle described on the menu. When we mentioned it to the waitress, there was no apology -- just "I can get it for you on the side." We then tried ordering a half‑bottle of Pinot Noir and were told they were out. We also asked for a half‑bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon and were told that wasn't available either, so we gave up on ordering wine altogether. We ordered fried ravioli and were told they were out as well, and this was only at 6pm. One of our kids received a different menu than the rest of us, which caused confusion when ordering a vegetarian entrée as it contained pancetta and we asked our child to order without pancetta. We pointed out the menu variation to the waitress and she did not say thanks for pointing out or that we will make sure it's corrected or anything at all. After a long wait for our entrées, the manager stopped by. We explained the series of issues, but his only response was, "But everything came out ok?" before walking away. No acknowledgment, no apology, or let me make it up to you but doing XYZ. Maybe it was just an off night, but the number of issues combined with the lack of customer service made for a disappointing experience. I am glad we did not come here to celebrate a big 50th birthday dinner last week. Sharing this so others understand why we're giving a low rating.
