I really wish my friends wanted to stay here longer because downstairs was a bar and they had a guy playing a guitar and he was playing some of the best cover songs! LOVE! However, we were famished and headed upstairs to the dining area for dinner. Food was very good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had some type of salad that came with chicken, a poach egg, bacon, tomatoes, cucumber some other stuff. It was good to finally get some veggies in me. I also had the Shepard's Pie (hey I was splitting between a friend) with mashed potatoes and Guinness gravy. The Shepard's pie was more like a chicken pot pie that was in a crusty tart filled with beef. The Guinness gravy was so good and rich I poured it over everything. I probably could have eaten it like soup if I had a spoon. I wonder if this place is new or is confused with the bar or hotel attached. Because the upstairs dining area is very nice and spacious with a lot of diners with wonderful dishes I wonder why there aren't more reviews. Regardless, very good restaurant upstairs and if the guy and guitar continues playing then fantastic bar downstairs. read more
