The absolute WORST experience EVER! I had my client come in with me to select material and purchase so I could pick up with my crew the very next day! My $2000 order was not even prepared, and those at the pro desk told me just to go ask staff on the floor for help, those in the floor either ignored me or rudely told me whoever sold me the items was to help me. A cashier named Griselda refused to page anyone for help and once my crew loaded our materials as she watched she attempted to block exit as if we hadn't paid for the materials. I will forever go to Lowes and to a local equipment rental place. Even the equipment rental was such a nightmare! what a way to start a day! Last time I came to this Hone Depot a year ago I was not a pleasant experience either. I am so irate I plan on following up with upper managemen. What an absolute nightmare! read more

Travaled 3 hours with a full sheet of material I needed to purchase for my home. Only to arrive to the most awful service ever. No employee was able to help because that wasn't their assigned section and the person I needed was "out for the day". Yet the employee had the audacity to tell me "you can come tomorrow once the corresponding person is here to help". Found 3 things out of my list myself I asked for assistance to load onto my shopping cart (since it was over weight) only to wait 30+min with no one coming to help. I definitely don't recommend this store at all. Store management is the worst even the employees they decided to hire. Glad I took my money elsewhere seemed to me like selling wasn't a top priority in this store. This store doesn't even deserve the one star I have to put in order to post my review. read more

This review is for Home Depot in Mission Texas. Feel like employee training is the same training for Dick's Last Resort employees. Worse service ever! Not only is the service lousy the employees don't know their aisles or product. I travel 15 extra miles to get to the next Home Depot. read more

The people that help to upload heavy items work very very slowly and it takes them several minutes to actually start helping. Many of the guys act that if they where very tired/lazy way. They don't respect customers time. Unfortunately it's the only store less than a mile from my office so I buy there often. But I will stop going as soon as other similar store opens nearby. The employees are not helpful or friendly. They seem aggravated when I ask for assistance. The cashiers don't smile, make eye contact or even speak when I check out. I asked a gentleman employee for assistance in the lawn mower section and he said he didn't work in that section and walked away. Then he came back about three or four minutes later helping a male customer in the same section. Maybe he didn't have patience with female customers? read more

Too many times things ordered or checked online that were " in Stock" and show up to buy and they are not. Has cost me time running back and forth, makes me feel bad for the contractors that deal with this often. They really need to do a better job at inventory control. Staff in the lumber section seems more Interested in talking amongst themselves than helping out. If you do ask they seemed bothered. Older lady cashier is just plain rude. Went early morning to beat the rush but nothing on the shelf. Half the time I dont find what I need. The only reason I keep going is the location. There is a leadership issue at this store. Who is the store manager? Employees don't seem to know about order procedures or how to track down orders. On my last order of an outdoor dining set, I received the chairs but the table. The table sat in the back several weeks. I was told table is on the way; it's at another store; we reorder etc. The last day I went in and an employee in a wheel chair told me he would go to the back to receiving to look for it. I almost told him not to worry about it since I saw him struggle rolling the chair to the back of the store. Shortly, David, one of the managers, showed up and sarcastically said he would reorder and could not guarantee arrival. Long story short, they showed up with the table brought from the back. It took determined man in a wheel chair to go find the table in the back. This manager rather than sending someone to the back and look for the table opt to be sarcastic and just say I will reorder. read more

I have been going through a major home remodel and this place has become my best friend. I have been able to find everything that I need for my new home at this please. My only complaint would be that they have very little stuff to help you or assist you with any questions you might have about any product. They should have a bit more of stuff to assist the customers especially those that might not know anything about a remodel or what tools to use for a project. read more

I'd give 5 stars, however, no store is perfect. Home Depot management makes sure there's enough staff in the store to take care of the customers needs. That's a lot more than I can say about Lowes whom I think can do a lot better! Home Depot employees seem upbeat and really want to help the customer. Home Depot Rules. I just went to his Home Depot and their staff is very friendly and helpful. The product I needed was not on the floor so a kind Young man named Tommy pulled my product from the top of the floor. He went above and beyond for me. When the pieces I bought didn't fit in my car he took the time to cut them lol in half to fit. My experience was overall very great! Terrible service!!! I was there to pick up some materials. Looked for some to help me me with my big order, but no one helps you or even offer to ask if you need anything. I was there yesterday evening and people have an attitude problem there. Only one guy went above and beyond but everyone else seems unhappy to work there. The cashier was rude when making a return and checking out the items purchased. The managers or supervisors should do a better job of creating a better customer service experience so you won't lose customers. I will not be going back. read more

Had to grab some nails and light bulbs. I asked three different employees about a certain type of LED bulb and each employee told me that he would get someone else to help me because they did not know anything about the LED bulbs, even though they were working in the light bulb department. I gave up on that and went to look at special fasteners in their hardware area. They have an entire isle of drawers you pull out to look at the different items. When I see washers in the screw bins and locking devices in the hook bins, it is time to go. Nothing was organized, I could not find anything. read more

Is this common practice? I went to the one on Shary Rd to buy all appliances for my new home and when I asked the appliance guy for a military discount, he said he had to ask the manager. When he came back, he said that he couldn't. Then... instead of charging me for the discounted prices that they had on the big, bright, orange papers, he charged me the regular price and added the 10% mil discount. What in the world? Just charge me for the discounted price and Stop advertising military discounts! So after all this, I didn't buy my refrigerator there. I went to Best Buy and got the same size and stainless steel fridge at a better price b/c of their Presidents' Day sale and they still gave me a 10% military discount! Lovely, so guess where I'm getting my tv's?! read more
