This Home Depot on Trenton, just east of 10th, and next to HEB, is the closest one to Edinburg…read more There's another off Hwy. 83 in Pharr and a third in Mission. As all Home Depot stores, they carry all kinds of home improvement construction and home maintenance materials, tools, appliances, lawn and garden, electrical, plumbing, and more. This one also rents equipment like trucks, trailers, excavators, forklifts, landscaping equipments. power washers, ditch diggers, and other power tools. In the past I have rented ditch diggers and drain cleaners. The prices at Home Depot are usually on par with their competition. On my last visit, all I was after was some Mulch for my flower beds which they had on sale 4 bags for $10. The young lady at the cash register was friendly and helpful. She verified which mulch I wanted and rang me up, then called for a young man to help me load it into my truck. The young man was notably unenthusiastic but he was respectful and did his job well. I usually go to their competitor because of the location, but my experiences at Home Depot have been positive overall.

Outdated Business Model, Poor Customer Experience…read more I recently assisted with a paint color issue that revealed a much bigger problem: a business model that no longer works. After applying the paint and letting it dry, the color was clearly off. I returned to the store, and while the paint department made an adjustment to darken it, the issue remained. What followed was worse than a bad batch of paint -- it was a clear lack of accountability. Customer service and a different employee in the paint department made it clear: no returns, no solutions, and essentially, "sorry, but that's it." This kind of response reflects a business practice that values short-term transactions over long-term customer relationships. There was no follow-through, no ownership of the mistake, and no interest in keeping the customer satisfied. In contrast, companies like Lowe's have moved forward with customer-first models -- they understand that service doesn't end after the sale. If you're tired of businesses that operate like it's still 1995, it might be time to take your business somewhere that's actually evolved..

The two employees that have been there forever are always so helpful. They cut the flowers I bring in and add water to whatever I decide on. Well this time was a different experience. As the young girl rang me up and older lady was standing at the counter and I asked if she can put the flowers in the pot and add the pretty pink bow they always do to complete the look. Well, she yelled at me and said "she can not put the flowers in" here I am thinking maybe due to COVID. But no, she just didn't want to do that for me. I tell her "your employees always do it for me" with this confused look in my eyes (wearing my mask) well she ripped the flowers out of my hands with attitude and walked away. I asked if she was the owner and the you g girl said yes. I was appalled by her customer service. A few minutes later she came back with the teapot and my flowers in her hand and said "i asked all my full time employees if they do this and they all said no!" She hands me my pot and flowers and I in shock!! The young girl that had helped me apologized for the owner as she walked away and closed the door to the back room. Here I am helping small businesses out and I get yelled at and called a liar!!! Here are a few photos taken at her store where they put the flowers and pink bow for me with no Complaint!!! You all lost a loyal customer and I will never walk in your store again!

They told me their system was down and that I should come back tomorrow (which is now today), so they could submit the order. I specifically asked her if I could just deal with Apple directly and she told me no, because it would be more expensive. At which I said not true, because the battery life is below 80% and in the range for it to be covered for repair. I don't know why she insisted I come back today, but when I did a different employee told me that the system isn't down it's a problem with the serial number of my watch. I don't doubt it, as the previous employee had written my information down wrong including my name and phone number and had to update it! I grabbed my watch and left! Go to someplace different folks, this place sucks! They act as if gas is cheap and we can drive a long way to come see them only to not get service!
