I waited over 15 for an associate to open the cage to make a purchase. The QR code did not work. I contacted one of the employees and requested assistance. Typically I do not go to this store because service is always slow. Today my husband and I needed to purchase a refrigerator. We stood around for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to either notice us or show up to the appliance dept. Then a man walking through the aisle stopped and asked if we needed help. Enter Craig: the STORE MANAGER, helped us find a refrigerator in line with our budget and correct size and place an order. Craig deserves five stars. Giving four stars to the store in general because no one offered to help us other than Craig. Craig alone deserves six. He was helpful, warm and polite. After we finished up, we observed him interacting with the staff and giving positive feedback. Not many managers behave this way. read more

This store is not my favorite location. It is not intuitively organized. I had to walk around a couple of times to find the things that are all in the same space in other locations. It's not awful, but I didn't like it as much. The staff was very nice, though. The store is clean, and the staff had answers without having to look everything up on their phones. read more

Worst home store I've been in. On Saturday mornings it's common to have several aisles closed while moving stuff around. Also hard to find anyone to answer questions. In general the service sucks. Save yourself the trouble and go right down the road to Lowe's where I've had the opposite experience. read more

This store and the employees are top notch. The service I received for my online orders and pick up orders during an especially busy time and holiday weekend should be commended. I ordered a whirlpool side by side refrigerator in September to be delivered to my home on October 19, 2020. A few days before the delivery I got a call saying the order had been moved to November 7, 2020. The day before the October delivery date, I got a call telling me to be home to receive the appliance, which never showed up because it was rescheduled to November 7th. A week before the Nov. 7th delivery, we called the store and they assured us the fridge would be delivered on the 7th. 3 days before the posted Nov. 7th delivery, I got a call saying the fridge would be postponed to December 12, 2020. Upon calling the store again, we were told they had a delivery available on Nov. 12, 2020, but when asked about it today (Nov. 12, 2020), they said the fridge can't be delivered until December 12. The only reason I purchased this fridge was because of the available delivery date posted on the fridge in the store, and quite frankly I'm not happy that the store falsely advertised delivery days to get my money. I canceled my order and will be buying my appliances from somewhere not Home Depot. I will also be taking my future business to other hardware stores from here on out. read more

Not sure where all the negative reviews come from. I was actually hesitant to go to this location based on the reviews. However, I found everyone in this location to be extremely helpful and attentive. I don't believe that I walked past a single employee that did not acknowledge my presence or ask if I needed assistance. Overall great experience and clean store. A+ in my books. read more

If a rating could be a 0 that is what I would rate the Hone Depot in Madison, MS. I purchased a washer and dryer for $1,983.69 on February 28, 2018. Upon delivery, the washer was damaged and the delivery company had to return it and order another one. March came and went still no washer, no calls no nothing. Every time I called they said they would get back with me. Finally I called and requested a refund for the washer that I never received and for the dryer to be picked up. They refunded the washer and picked up the dryer but left the balance of $1,007.25 on my credit card. I called the credit card company because at this point a payment is due. They opened an investigation where I wouldn't have to pay while it's in dispute. Here it is the end of April and I still have not received the refund for the dryer that was returned. I have talked to Daryl, Donna, Kayla and Jay. This location apparently is doing so well that they don't need any business. Customer service is horrible! They keep you on hold forever and I have yet received a call from the appliances manager apologizing for the inconvenience they caused me. I'm just so thankful that I decided to keep my old washer and dryer that was in working condition instead of paying them to carry them off. If I had allowed them to carry them off, I would be without a washer and dryer. This has been the worse experience in purchasing appliances! They don't have to ever worry about me shopping there again. Personally, I don't think they really care!!!! read more

The employees are emotionally retarded. I think everyone in there is heavily using prescription pain medications and/or anti-depressants. I'm being serious. The minute I walked in and talked to the two lady's at the service desk I knew it was going to be a bad experience. I should have left that moment. The lady working the rental desk created the most frustrating and awkward experience I have every had dealing with a store employee. So many people in Madison county joke about the store being run by the devil, now i know why. I only shopped there because they carried a brand/model of equipment I really wanted to try. I will never go back. Sorry for not sharing details but I believe its best. Lowes is right down the road and I have have always had simple down to earth experience there with without having to tip toe around all the employees egos first. read more
