Not to be confused with The Ho Depot, which is basically our house as you know. I never was a big fan of Home Depot but it used to be useful. The prices have gone much higher over the years and the service has gone from decent to non-existent. Especially at this one. The only woman that ever helped me here was a manager and was easily the rudest person I've ever encountered at HD. I was literally asking her questions about something I wanted to buy, about return policies, and she misunderstood and thought I wanted a refund on something. She lost her sh** and talked to me like a scammer who wanted to get one over on the store. Horrible service and follow-up problems are very evident at this store. I called to check on a tree and was transferred to lawn and garden where a person (I thought it was a woman) answered the phone and said I don't care and put it back on hold. I stayed on hold so long I had arrived to the Home Depot. I hung up and called back while parked and the customer service said I don't understand why they won't answer. I explained what happened and to transfer to a manager and that I was outside. Spoke to Chris the manager and told him everything I just went through....all he said is I don't have a woman even working in that area. No I'm sorry that happened let me look into it, I apologize...not sure who it could be, no personal professionalism or courtesy for the customer experience. When I walked back there it was a young man with a feminine voice so that was the confusion. Sorry it wasn't a woman. Last night I was told if we came back to get the tree today they will be half off. We were outside looking at a Douglas Fir real tree. Not in the inside with the associate. We said okay we will be back today. Then I get here after the annoying disrespect call to find out they were mistaken it is only artificial trees inside and lights. I explained the situation and conversation with the employees last night and still don't receive a discount or apology no nothing. Service has been overlooked in establishments but it isn't right to overlook it when it happens. If a manager does better so will the employees. We spend our hard earned money and chose to spend it at your location to be treated with disrespect. I am very disappointed in Home Depot management allowing this type of service. read more

This is not my favorite Home Depot in Katy Texas. The customer service is lacking. When you are looking for someone to help you, it's almost as if they are hiding or run away from you. Once I did ask somebody for help in a section and they said they would page a person to help me. That person never came. I ended up having to snatch another person that worked there, and he finally helped me. But he didn't even know how to cut the chains and give me the slip in order to pay for it correctly. I'm a pretty upset customer at the moment. Actually I've been an unhappy customer of The Home Depot for a very long time and I think the time to transition to a different home improvement store has arrived. It does not matter what Home Depot location I visit, what remains consistent across the board is the lack of customer service provided. It's a pain in the ass to get someone to help you every single time. If there's a wait for help, the employees fail to acknowledge that you're even there. Today's review was triggered simply because I feel like Home Depot robbed me. I was doing some normal shopping for things around the house and on my way to the checkout desk I happened to pass by the appliance department where a refrigerator I purchased less than a month ago was now being advertised as $1,000 cheaper. Not $100, $200, $300..... it was $1,000 difference. WTF? Who wouldn't feel robbed? I get the attention of the store employee that sold me the refrigerator less than a month ago and I pretty much get a 'tough shit' kinda response. The manager is then called over and her response to the situation was like this: 'Well the Home Depot has been talking about this sale coming for months now' 'If you saw our ads on tv, newspapers, and website you would have known there was gonna be a sale'. Girl bye. I can read people extremely well and she isn't there to provide enriching customer experiences. She's just there for a paycheck. She didn't ask questions, didn't even bother to see my receipt (which I had in my email ready to show proof of purchase). She's simply there to say NO to customers. This review only covers the online ordering and curbside pickup service. I ordered a toilet and flange from the web site. The process was simple and quick. After paying, I received a text message and e-mail confirmation. I was also informed that I have a seven days pickup window. Three days later, I drove up to the pickup parking and texted my numbered parking spot. Five minutes later, a young man walked to my car and informed me that my purchase was on the way. Two minutes later, a petite young lady arrived with my purchase. There was no way this skinny girl can load the toilet into my car by herself. I did not know where her male partner went off to. I got out and help her load the toilet with me doing most of the work. Over all, this on line purchasing and curbside pickup experience was smooth. read more

I've been fortunate enough to find a lot of needed items here lately. Whether it is salt for the softener, an extra fan for a room that doesn't cool as well, or the spring time plants they feel more useful now than before somehow. There is always great customer service here too. This spot does delivery through a service and in a recent order the wrong thing was delivered. The item we purchased was actually more expensive. A manager actually delivered the proper items to our home after getting off of work and took the wrong items with him. read more

Customer service was horrible. I would not recommend shopping at this store. I originally ordered and paid for my appliances on July the 5th and have had nothing but problems. They have attempted to deliver my item on 3 separate occasions and evey time items were damaged. I have tried reaching out to the store manager Aaron but he has done nothing but ignore me. I ordered a washing machine from this store to be delivered. The only service offered during purchase was installation. I was never offered to opportunity to have my old washing machine hauled away, which is a server Home Depot offers. I called later after my order to see if I could have my old washing machine removed and was told that "I t's too late to add that service", even though it was never offered. Rude staff - endemic issue from the top - the Manager on duty last night when I called in was incredibly rude to me after I received a damaged dishwasher delivered from this store that Home Depot admitted no fault to. Furthermore, Home Depot delivery agent incorrectly diagnosed my existing/old dishwasher as hardwired (called out an electrician at my expense last night who proved otherwise) - likely just lazy staff wanting to avoid doing their work. Stuck now with no working dishwasher until January with family visiting for the holidays (lots of dishes to wash!) Use a different store, or better yet Lowe's. Sometime in October, 2022 I made a purchase of over $8,000 worth of items and one of those is a dishwasher. On their initial delivery, the dishwasher was really messed up that they had to returned it for a new one. Forward 10 days later they brought and installed the new on but refused to take the old one with them even though I paid for that extra service (even the service from the delivery & installation guys was really bad too). I called Home Depot and was told that I didn't purchase for that extra service for them to take the old dish washer with. I was literally going back and forth with the sales person telling her that I purchased the service and that someone must have dropped the ball and forgot to include in my purchase. I asked if there was someone else to speak with to which she said there is nothing that could be done except transfer me to the store that I purchased the appliances; then perhaps they may (not guaranteed) send someone to pick it up; mind you I spend all that money the least she could have said was that someone must have forgotten to charge me or what have you for the service and that they will try to do it right. NOPE! I wish I could return everything I purchase but they don't accept returns. I just will NEVER EVER buy from Home Depot again. The only thing they care about is your money!!! I don't usually frequent Home depot, I'm a Lowe's fan but they had what I needed at the price I wanted to pay. I just purchased a new grill and that establishment did not have a cover to fit as it will reside outside and my patio is not covered. I shopped both online and in person and Home depot had one that would fit at a good deal. By me not shopping there a lot I had to figure out how to find what I was looking for. Fortunately one of the associates with the orange apron in was able to direct me. I was able to get the cover and check out. I returned home and immediately installed it on my grill and it seems of good quality. Only time will tell. read more
