Went to Home Depot this morning to purchase a storm door. I got the cart and needed assistance getting the door. I asked an associate and he informed that there was no one in that department to help me and he could not assist me because "he had 50 things to do." The staff are remarkably friendly and accommodating. The store's layout is well-organized, making it easy to locate items. They have a good amount of product in the store but also online selection is massive too. The value / pricing is competitive compared to other stores as well. Our monthly visit to the kids' workshop on the first Saturday is a highlight, with innovative themes and engaging activities that my son loves. We cherish the family time spent together. They've removed all of the registers and replaced them with self checkout. So instead of Home Depot supporting our community with jobs, they're funding the manufactures of the self checkout machines and money leaves the area. My family and I won't be returning. read more

So I had been on the hunt looking for a specific wallpaper. I had went into 3 Home Depot's and called about 4 locations but none of the stores had it even though the website said it was in stock. Even though I was discouraged, I decided to give it one last try and I called this location one morning because the website said it had 7 of the wallpaper in stock. The nice lady said someone would check for me and asked me how many I needed. I told her 3. After holding about 10 minutes (she checked backed frequently) she told me they did have the wallpaper and even brought 3 up to the Customer Service Desk to hold for me. Finally!! Because I got off late, my brother was able to pick them up for me. I called the store back and asked if my brother can pick them up for me and they said sure and even allowed for me to pay for the items over the phone so my brother wouldn't have to do it. This location is closed to my mom so I come here when I need to get things for her apartment and update her flowers. Great staff here and lots of inventory so when it comes to outdoor plants and planting needs this is the better location to go to. Lots of varieties of plants flowers trees for the season and excellent pots and planters to put them in. Just picked up more goodies after the storm destroyed my last batch and I have excellent support and service helping me find what I needed. They follow the guidelines wear masks and are even outside so there should be no complaints on following safety regulations. I really like this location. read more

Went in for a space heater. Was told they were in the flooring department, not there. Was told they were up front and it was a seasonal item, not there. Walked around the store for a half hour determined to find them. Seasonal item, last time I looked it's January and 30's in the morning. They had some behind the lighting department which was a strange place to put them. Sorry that no one knows where anything is and no one stops to help. Ace hardware is looking better everyday. Jeff P and Ashlee stood talking while my sister and I patiently waited for them to look up and acknowledge we were needing help, hence why we were standing in front of customer service! After it was apparent that they had no intention whatsoever of acknowledging our existence, we went and asked a cashier. Crossing back in front of them I stopped to get their name off the apron so Jeff P, after we found what we were looking for, came up to ask if we needed any help. I just told him to move on! So I bought a top of the line Bosch microwave to match my oven and dishwasher I bought from Lowe's. They came when I was on the way home. My daughter let them begin . 30 mins later I get home oven is not level. They ran a screw into my cabinet to prop oven up still sticking out 3/4 inch. Didnt install the exhaust adaptor. They don't answer the phone at the store let it ring 50 times called three times. Called 1-800 number said they would get the same install company back out. No thanks I own a hvac business will have my son and Service manager reinstall it properly. read more

Well, we had an issue with a new washer and dryer and we're not happy with a few things that happened with delivery. After several frustrating calls with delivery, we called the store and talked with Zack (one of the managers). Zack went well above and beyond to help us out with this issue. After we thought it was resolved and had a plan for delivery, Zack once again got involved when things went awry and worked to get us to a good place. While we could have blasted Home Depot for the frustrating experience, Zack provided the best possible Service and left us as satisfied customers. Thank you Zack for your consideration and service. I bought three appliances all at the same time. When the appliances were delivered to the Hoschton Georgia address the drivers did not change the handle to the right side of the refrigerator before they left. I ordered these appliances on line so didn't know the order number to give Home Depot and three separate times they told me they didn't have record of my name or phone number. Told me to call their delivery company and ask them. Their delivery company referred my back to the store. Since the Hamilton Mill Store said they didn't send the appliances I called the Sprout Spring Store to see if they did. They checked with their customer order specialist and found out that the Hamilton Springs Store had sent the appliances. This only took them "Sprout Springs a few minutes.' I called Hamilton store back and told them they could verify this with the Sprout Springs store. They told me we could call their store back Monday to talk to their in store customer service specialist to rectify the problem. The manager Saturday was short with me, dIsmissive, and passed the work back to me to fix. The customer service lady that I talked to that morning was irritated with my distress, snapped at me and not kind. I am 76 years old and now have spent two and a half hours of my time trying to get a handle changed. This could have been done by them in a few minutes by their computer specialist. And it still isn't done. read more

Went to pick up a few hundred dollars worth of material to finish a project. I also had three things to return. I was able to return two out of the three items without an issue (even without a receipt) however the return desk couldn't find the hose purchase and they don't stock it currently so the girl said she wouldn't take it back even though a different employee said to get one similar to the one I was returning. The hose cost me $54 dollars a couple months ago. I estimate I have spent close to $20k or more at Home Depot in the last six months..... mark my words "I will never step foot in a Home Depot from today forward" Home Depot- if you read these, you just lost thousands from future purchase from me over a $54.00 transaction. read more

Greetings, Order number I can provide to home depot. The 2 installers need to be fired, and replaced. Even though there were 2, one carried in the microwave, hitting my lights. When the other guy removed the old microwave, he banged it against the cabinet. They could care less about my nice clean house, in a nice neighborhood. Barely said hi. The worst thing is they did not even test if it came on !!! I tested it and heard a terrible grinding noise, which has yet to be fixed. Also left multiple NAILS on ground, and debris everywhere. Did not clean anything, the installers did NOT care at all. I was dressed professionally and was very polite to them. They were just trashy people, who did not even care to check if microwave turned on correctly. Yes I know installation is sublet, but there needs to be accountability somewhere. read more

I had brought in a lawnmower to be serviced that I bought from Home Depot about two years ago. I was told it should take only two weeks. After two weeks I began calling in for an update. I kept being told it was sent out. No further details. I was able to borrow a mower at no cost twice, however I could only use it for 24 hours at at time. I had times I had to pay for lawn service to cover many gaps. I asked multiple times to just get my mower back and I would take it somewhere else. I was told that this option wasn't possible. I have honestly spent more on covering mowing my lawn than the mower cost when I bought it! I should have just abandoned it and bought another one from a different store. I finally got it back after 9 weeks. It's a shame. I have lived all over the U.S. I have always been loyal to Home Depot. This store does not live up to the Home Depot brand. I have given other tries since I got my mower back and they have failed. I will not shop here again. Its worth driving further to a different Home Depot. read more

I needed a blind cut and my cousin asked 3 people they all said they didn't know how and didn't offer to send anyone. I then found someone else he said let him get someone. A guy walks up to get a blind cut and they send someone for him right away. The guy then proceeds to help the man that just walked up meanwhile I've been trying waiting for over 10 minutes. I stopped the guy and said I've been waiting and they said someone was coming. The customer even told the guy I was waiting and he still tried to help him first. Well, I gave it another shot... Shame on me. I walked into the garden center and up to a group of 4 approx. high school aged boys, all wearing the HD apron and all standing around talking. Note: Bob was up at the register ringing up people and the line was 6-8 people deep at that point. Nobody moved to help check people out. I asked this group of boys if they had any gardenias. I don't expect high school boys to know what the heck gardenias are but I DO expect that you will check instead of shrugging your shoulders and saying, "I have no idea" and then laughing as I walk off. I did try to shake it off as I walked around the area myself looking for them and eventually finding them. It didn't take so I called customer service. I was asked if I wanted to talk to a manager, which I declined, because I was talking to customer service. Just handle it. As I made my way back to the register to pay, there were no boys to be found and Bob was still the only guy at the register and he was still managing a line of 5-6 people. C'mon Home Depot, get it together. Train your staff or move them along. Why pay them for doing nothing? read more

An older gentleman named Rick helped us locate everything we needed and even standardized our keys for the multiple door locks we bought. Many of the younger staff seem oblivious to customers who need help and appear annoyed when you ask for assistance. Work on training you young employees to be more aware of customers and to demonstrate intitiative as well as a pleasant attitude when assisting customers. I'd give them 0 stars to Home Depot if I could. I have taped phone conversations and video tapes as proof to what I say. We paid over $5000 in November 2019 for home Depot to install flooring in our home. Since that day I have been trying to get them back to correct an incorrect floor install. After filing BBB complaints a flooring inspector finally came out and said the flooring is not leveled properly and needs to be redone. June 1, 2020 the flooring company came to redo my floor but did not have enough flooring to do the job. I called over to the store the manger Grant who was suppose to come out with the District Manager was out for the best 3 days.. here the 3 days my floors were bring done. They were to come see my floors but never showed. So after calling the store they sent a supervisor Chris who had no idea what he was looking at, Talking about and new nothing about flooring. After he asked the installer several times the same questions and the installer kept giving him the same answer and finally got on his knees to show the supervisor. Once The install said that the floors need to come up the Supervisor tried redirecting the installers answer. I asked him to stop. The supervisor got mad and said he was leaving. I tried to called the store and get the District Managers name. They refused to tell me. I called the corporate office and spoke with Marcus, he too refused to give me the District Manager name. After asking a few times I asked for a supervisor. Marcus in customer service at corporate refused to give me the district manager name and refused to transfer me to a supervisor. I filed another BBB complaint. It has done no good. Home Depot refuses to come back and correct my floors. I have sent emails to the district manager Keith Tovey and CEO Craig Meanar. Neither have returned my emails nor contacted me. Yes they received my emails. Corporate confirmed it. The supervisor said it would cost home depot to much to correct the bad install. But yet the want to return us our money and have someone else correct their flooring mistake. They said it would cost them to much?. They charged me $500 to level my floors and laid flooring over a bad level. Now there's flooring issues and home Depot refuses to correct them. We paid Home Depot for flooring and the install. The install company came leveled my floor incorrectly. Laid flooring the flooring company came admitted they didn't lay the floor correctly and came back to correct it but didn't have enough materials. A supervisor who knows nothing about the floor said they're now not redoing it because it would cost home depot to much. But yet home depot exspects me to just take my money back and find someone else to correct their shabby work, buy new flooring and redo my floor at my exspense all the while Home Depot can correct the floors right away with no inconvenience to anyone because they have the installer and material but are refusing to come back to correct error. Home Depot rather cost us double to fix their shabby work then stand behind they're warranty. I wonder how many other people they have find this to. read more

Do not do curbside pickup. Even though the item I ordered is on the shelf and I could have went to the store and stood in line to get in I decided to be prudent and lessen exposure and try the curbside pickup. It says same day. Not. I called them the next day wondering why I haven't been notified yet and they said it could take up to three days to fill my order. Don't promise same day pickup with items currently sitting on your shelf if you can't even come close to delivering. Why I like Lowe's so much better. read more

Kim in doors is in a class all her own. She gave suggestions and explained why what I was trying to do would not work. Then when she noticed my family was struggling came over to assist again. I will never purchase anything from the Home Depot that actually requires them to do something. Their contractors are not very good and the Home Depot doesn't take responsibility for their contractors unless you argue with them I purchased carpeting and vinyl flooring from this store. Issue 1: The installers came and ripped up the old floor and went to get the new carpeting. When they unrolled the new carpeting it had large holes in it from a forklift. Because they ripped up the old flooring, they had to lay down the carpeting with the hole in it. Issue 2: The vinyl floor was installed and a week later there were three different sections that had tears in it. The installers came out and said the tears were from a vacuum and they weren't responsible. I understand that the consumer is liable for something they do, but even if the floor damage was caused by a vacuum (I don't believe it was), floors should be able to be cleaned by a vacuum, that is pretty common. I tried to resolve with Home Depot and their original stance was that I needed to work with the installers. Issue 3: I didn't hire the installers, I hired Home Depot, Home Depot hired the installers. After much convincing, Home depot agreed to replace the floor. The installers came out to install a new floor. Issue 4: They installed the new floor on top of the old floor. If you want to use Home Depot for your flooring needs, Good Luck. read more

The customer service in this particular store has really gone downhill. I remember when this store was built and have spent many thousands of dollars over three different houses. While wrapping up my latest house, I was shopping for a specific faucet that was on display and was ignored by no less than three employees. I finally gave up and drove to the flowery branch location. I refuse to shop this location any longer , even though its less than a mile from my home. read more

I went here to look for hydrangeas for my front yard the other day and fell in love with their nursery. They have a large selection of plants with helpful signs above each section and tags on each of the plants letting you know all the important information to keeping this plant alive (which is especially wonderful for me since I do not have a natural green thumb at all). They have a nice selection of flowers in the parking lot area. I found the hydrangea section which was inside and full of different color blooms in case you're curious I ended up with three plants one that was white with pink edges and two of the blue and purple varieties. I also could not resist and got two of the Asian Lilies. When I finally got to the counter (it took me about 30 minutes of deciding which colors to get) there were two guys who were very knowledgable about each of the plants I was purchasing. One let me know what fertilizer I needed to buy to keep the colors of the hydrangeas and also let me know how I should transport the plants and how long I could keep them in my car to prevent them from wilting. Also, the prices aren't too bad I got the lilies for $7 a piece and the hydrangeas were around $14.99 which is a couple of dollars cheaper than the Kroger where I have been getting them for $16-$18. I really enjoy my trips here and will definitely be back for more Home Depot fun! read more
