I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity and selection of styles and sizes of jeans and other types of clothes. I honestly didn't realize how many non-jeans related apparel they produce and carry. This was one of the busier stores that I went to at Prime. They had multiple employees but probably not enough to deal with all of the customers. There was nobody to greet or welcome you to the store, but they all seemed to be working with stocking, folding, running registers, but not really anyone making suggestions or engaging the customers. I saw others seek out employees to ask questions and I was able to get my answered as well but I had to go to the other side of the store to find someone free. They carry mens, womens, and childrens apparel. The store was generally clean and organized given the time of year and number of customers. The regular prices were slightly below the department stores, their sales were on par with any special at a chain, and the clearance racks, while smaller than the other outlets, beat anything I have seen in the big box while maintaining a good selection of sizes. Overall my experience here was not bad, not great, but aok.

Staff was very polite and it was easy to try on the jeans I was interested in purchasing. They had a nice sale going on a at the time, and I was able to buy 3 pairs of jeans for around $100. My only complaint was that they didn't have more of a selection of colors in the jeans I wear.

While I was only looking for mens shoes, they do carry womens and childrens shoes as well. They weren't as busy as I thought they would be and it allowed me to have a great experience and a lot of interaction with the male employee on duty. If corporate is reading this I didn't catch his name but his ID was 253710 on my receipt. I was greeted when I walked in the door, asked what I was shopping for, and directed where to go. After looking for a little while, the guy came over asked if I needed help or any suggestions. He was knowledgable about the products they caried and while I was trying on shoes he grabbed a couple of different sizes I needed which was appreciated. They carry a lot of the national brands of tennis shoes and have a pretty decent selection. They had a lot of odd color combinations, perhaps because they are an outlet store and not a department store, that I did not find appealing and were somewhat lacking in something that appealed to me (white or black dominant colors). To each theri own when it comes to shoes so don't let me dissuade you if loud and proud is you. Their prices seemed to be a little lower than the major chains and their sales seemed to be a little bit better than what you see at the department stores. The clearance section was a hodgepodge of leftovers but their prices were outstanding 50%-75% off regular retail. I did locate a pair of boots I liked and purchased. The checkout experience was fast, friendly and efficient. When asked about tennis shoes, I let them know they didn't have something for me and the guy suggested I try their online store. When I got home I did go online and found what I wanted so while the store missed that sale the company got it in the end. I would recommend this store and their chain to anyone.

It's like tree trimmers that plow parking lots and driveways in the winter. Appeal to as many customer bases as possible, all in the hope of creating stable income flow. If it's off season for the retail nursery business, your main business, in August, then maybe a landscape architect and professional landscapers can provide a weekly service to home and business owners. And we all know that concrete statuary will draw people in. Who doesn't want a quarter scale concrete giraffe holding court near the children's swing set in one's backyard? And if not that, then maybe locally grown fruit and vegetables and ice cream and Amish fry pies will appeal to the masses. But, and here's the hard part because it requires developing a lot of skill sets, you, as a business owner, need to do all of these side hustles to your main business really, really well. We were visiting friends in Quincy who had lost a couple of trees due to an early August storm, because I had a couple of tree eating chainsaws to lend them, and on the way back home we felt a desire for ice cream. But it was a Sunday and our options were few. But this plant nursery advertised ice cream, so we thought why not. Well, that ended up being a disappointment. We received two of the most amateurishly made chocolate malts we had ever seen. I will admit that they were cold and edible but in no way were they malteds. And, as we waited, we got an eyeful of rotting peaches on a counter for sale, and watched the counter girl drop the lid of a container on the floor, reach down to retrieve it, and put the lid back on the container. All without washing the lid off. Yeah, not coming back here.
