This is my HD. I typically go at least once a week for something or other. From plants, to paint, to wood and tools, I've shopped probably every department at least once. This weekend I went for some new baseboards and I have to say the store was an absolute mess. It was so crowded, with literal junk, that I could hardly get around and it was a total safety hazard. See the attached pictures. You can do better!

We love bringing our dogs here on a weekend morning. The garden department has been pretty friendly and typically has everything we need to get. Other than that, it is your typical Home Depot. Sometimes it's difficult to find things, but after getting used to the layout it provides Boerne residents with what we need.

After narrowing down what I…read moreneeded, I tried to use the app and website to search, but nothing came up that matched, though I was certain that the store had what I needed in stock. A short drive later, I was trying to find what I needed, and came up short, but only in quantity. An employee came by and offered help, and I told them what I needed. They were right to a different bin, and counted out the exact quantity that I needed. They then gave me the price for that item and one other similar item. When I mentioned that the app and website didn't help, they told me that some of the items wouldn't come UP on the website or in the app, but that I could call anytime to have someone check the stock for me. I wrote the info on the handy plastic bag and went to check out. The employee at the checkout counter was polite, friendly, and professional. They asked for my phone number to access my rewards account. When I walked out, I had exactly what I needed, and for a very reasonable price. This is now my go-to store for all but major hardware needs. I highly recommend Ace Hardware, and especially this location. It kind of felt like I was dealing with family.

I try to give you my business when possible, but often I end up having to go to a big box store because you're out of a common item. Maybe focus more on core items and less on goofy chotchkies that you'll inevitably end up closing out.

They had a pretty decent stock as elsewhere has been selling rapidly. There's a lot going on at Callahan's as that place is huge. The only issue I had while I was there was there was only one lady working the cash register and there was a good 5+ of us waiting in line at a certain point, and it was moving at a snail's pace. Just that lunch rush I guess. I'll be back maybe for more Webkinz, I guess. RIYL: Feed and thing

I like coming here because it's got that old school general store feel. You know, what it must have been like back in the days of cowboys, dirt roads, and small, one-horse towns. They have just about everything from western clothing to hay, hammers, seeds, household stuff, and more. I had been on the search for a specific style of plant pot for an urban garden project I was working on. I searched high & low looking for what I wanted and couldn't find it. That is, until I tried Callahan's. I went in on a whim, not really looking for said pot, but looking around in general. And to my surprise, there it was! The piece I had been looking for. The fluorescent store lighting reflected around it like a glorious and spectacular display, calling my name. "Buy me, Karla, buy me"...and that I did. Obviously, I left happy. All in all, it's a cool place to check out and to find things you need and things you never knew you needed. Service is pretty great too. Everyone is super friendly.

Told them I didn't want to spend more than $200 total but was ok spending that much if both saws ran like near new again. They verbally said total should be around $125 unless something was really bad. So 3 weeks after they said they should be done they said one was finished. It's total was $98. Then I'm told they could work on the other saw because the handle was broke so I agreed to let them fix it. No biggie as handle is under $35. When that saw was done it was $132. Here's where it gets good. The one saw is missing the oiler screw that I thought they were going to fix. Nope. The pull rope doesn't go all the way back in. Didn't look at that either. So WTF did they do? They "looked" over the entire saw and changed the spark plug and gas filter. That's it. So for not $125 but for $230 I basically got a new handle. I can change the spark plug in 2 minutes myself. And how the crap does a chainsaw repair shop NOT see the oiler screw completely missing, do they not test the saws for proper lubrication? I for sure thought they changed a carburetor (or both). Or at minimum had to adjust the carbs. Not sure how one can charge that much to change 2 spark plugs and 2 gas filters on a freaking chainsaw with a straight face.
