You know those venues that look picture perfect on Instagram and sound too good to be true and then you get there and realize it was all filters and selective memory? The Highlands Estate is not one of those venues. Even the most talented photographer can't do this place's natural beauty justice, no review will ever fully capture how seamless a wedding at The Highlands Estate can be, and no venue owners will be more thoughtful and kind as Whitney and Gard! Every detail is thought through with weddings in mind - even down to the tables! Gard Made the tables extra wide so they could fit decor and place settings without crowding the table. And they're just beautiful. The Highlands Estate is overflowing with natural beauty! Rolling hills with grape vines, vibrant plum trees, lavender bushes and more. I wanted as much of our day to be outside and these views cannot be topped. We chose the gazebo for our ceremony and it was so special. Getting to look at my husband AND rolling hills while we said our "I do's?!" Priceless. The outdoor reception space was a fan favorite too. It was perfect for our intimate 60 person reception. We would have loved to dance under the stars but we still had an incredible time inside the barn on the dance floor. My only regret from the day is not booking the extra hour to stay and play in this beautiful space! My husband and I have already said we want to come back and do a vow renewal here to relive the best day of our lives. There's something for every couple at the Highlands Estate. The photos aren't too good to be true, they're just scratching the surface. Thanks, Whitney and Gard, for helping make our wedding dreams come true! PS: You'll want to stay at the BlackBerry Ranch cottages down the road! They're a great place to spend a leisurely morning getting ready and are a very quick drive to the venue. I'm not usually the reviewer type but OH MY GOD! I just had the privilege of being married at this amazing venue and I have to tell the world how amazing my experience was. It was everything promised online and the venue owners Whitney and Gard were so sweet, helpful, organized, and amazing. You can tell they have a passion for what they do and are genuinely excited to give you the most unforgettable day of your life. The Estate itself is breathtakingly beautiful and was absolutely perfect for my dream photos. Make sure to ask about their recommended vendors as they absolutely did not disappoint! Thank you Highlands Estate for the lifetime of memories you have given us and our guests. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

My son was recently married at The Highlands Estate. If I could give this venue 100 stars, it would not be enough. It was honestly the most beautiful, majestic, magical day I have ever been blessed with. Whitney and Gard welcomed us, our guests and family like we were part of their family. The pride, and love they have for their property is a gift to those who are fortunate enough to visit. They are a lovely, warm couple with immeasurable attention to detail and so talented. They think of everything! I had never met Whitney or Gard until my son's wedding weekend and by the time we left, I felt like we were saying goodbye to our friends. The estate...Where do I even begin? Before the reception, the wedding party and family took photos in the vineyard near the estate surrounded by fall-colored vineyards and rolling golden hills. The scenery is perfection. I would compare this to the hills in Tuscany or areas in Emilia-Romagna! We were offered a shuttle to the reception area or we could drive our own car and park (my husband is disabled). We drove and parked in our personalized parking space pre-marked for our convenience and simplicity. Upon arrival, we noticed everything was PERFECT...Not one thing was out of place. The wedding ceremony was behind a panoramic view of the vineyards and golden hills. I have been a personal assistant and involved with hosting events for over a decade and this event was flawless. Our day was especially exquisite. We had perfect weather...A few minutes of rain right before the ceremony to seal in "good luck" and a rainbow!!!! I don't know how Whitney and Gard pulled that off, but it was magical. :) We also had deer in the beautiful rolling hills behind the reception venue at dinner. I truly cannot recommend The Highland Estates enough. Thank you to Whitney and Gard for making this the best wedding I have ever imagined.

TL;DR We could not recommend the Highlands Estate enough!! Whitney and Gard are the most caring, accommodating, and well organized couple and they truly made us feel like family. Not to mention the gorgeous estate, grounds, and thoughtful touches at the venue. Can't thank them enough! We booked the Highlands Estate back in 2020 after having to cancel our original wedding 2 weeks before as a result of COVID. We had a really negative experience with our original venue and were very transparent with both Whitney and Gard about our experience and what we were looking for now that we had to reschedule. Not only were they so empathetic, understanding, and caring, but they also made sure to build in buffers for us due to the uncertainty of COVID to make us feel more comfortable. We ended up having to reschedule a few times again, but finally made it down the aisle last weekend. Gard and Whitney made the process of postponing so seamless and they were so supportive throughout the process. It was abundantly clear to us that they saw us as people first and not just a paycheck. They made sure that there was a human element involved and it wasn't just business to them. As a result, we were able to have the most perfect day we could have ever imaged. Thank you Whitney and Gard for showing us your heart and taking care of us so well. Now about the venue itself- the Highlands Estate is beautiful!! Gard and Whitney have put so much thought, energy, and intention into the venue and it really shows. Even since we booked the venue back in 2020, they have been making upgrades every year, adding a groom's suite, mics built into the ceremony arbor, built in barn speakers, etc. These special touches are just a few of the things that make the venue so unique and special. Finally - if you have the opportunity to book the Highlands Estate, really pay attention to the vendor recommendations. They truly know the best people and we feel so fortunate that they were able to share them with us on our special day. Thank you for the world class customer service, care, and love! We will cherish our day forever.

I loved staying at The Highlands Estate! Whether you are looking for a destination for a wedding or just trying to relax at a bed and breakfast, this is the place for you! Gard and Whitney are the best! Honestly, Whitney makes the best breakfast ever! There is always a new menu every morning and everything tastes delicious! The home is beautiful and there are a bunch of rooms to relax in! The bedrooms are very clean and cozy. There is a pool and a back porch to relax and watch the sunset. The wedding venue is very pretty! There is a barn house that is a perfect location for a reception that has pretty lights and a rustic feel. The area is full of vineyards if you are in the mood to go wine tasting. I would definitely recommend this place to other people! I can't wait to come back and stay here again.

I visited here 9/7/19 for a relative's wedding. The drive up was a bit winding and also quite long if you do live further especially for those form the Bay Area. However, the weather and hillside views were definitely worth it. The assistants and servers/bartenders were very help and attentive. Parking can be a bit difficult for guest as the space is a bit narrow and it's a small walk from the wedding area however there's a shuttle vehicle with a driver that can drive about 4-6 people at a time. The area for the ceremony gives you a nice view out to the hills and there's is a nice shade provided form a tree, although it can make your pictures darker. The cocktail/hangout area was pretty large and they offer those classic string lights which gives it a nice touch when the evening comes. The dining area can fit about 70-80 people comfortably to my guess.

We were lucky enough to have our wedding at the Highlands Estate on September 17, 2022. From the moment we saw the venue, and after meeting Whitney and Gard, we knew we had to have our wedding there. Whitney and Gard are so kind and thoughtful, and really helped make the planning process and big day seamless. They truly thought of all the little details when creating this venue to make it the ideal place to have a wedding. The list of preferred venders that comes with booking at the Highlands Estate was extremely help and made the planning process so much easier! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and provided us with the most beautiful wedding photos from our big day. All of our guests were blown away by the natural beauty of the venue- commenting on how the reception felt like an intimate dinner party with all your closest friends. We are so happy we went with the Highlands Estate and cannot recommend it enough!

There were numerous occasions when we were drowning in decisions where Nicki swooped in with straight-up pep talks, and she introduced us to so many incredible vendors and insider hook-ups which all came together to create a more magical day than we could have ever imagined for the relatively small budget we were working with. Plus, she has a genius eye for design and incredible calligraphy skills, so definitely take her up on her beautiful signage if you can! I feel like as many of our guests posted pictures of our gorgeous menu board that Nicki made as they did of us! Bottom line -- Nicki is the sweetest, goofiest, most generous and TALENTED badass planner you could ever hope for. RV PARK: If you're…read morethinking of bringing an RV here- trust me and change your mind. While it may be cost effective, it comes at a price. The amenities are fine but you're at the fairground, meaning: Almost every weekend is motorcycle classes- loud. They also host an array of outdoor events in the evenings throughout the year that are right next to your rig - loud. They also have rentals in the building, typically weddings and quinceañeras - Very Loud! Do they warn you about the competing events? Nope Will they close the doors? Nope. Will they shut down during quiet hour? Nope Will they answer their after hours phone? Nope (pray there isn't an issue with the bathroom or gate) Will security threaten to fight you if you ask to shut the doors or quiet down at 11pm? Yup! Should you bring ear plugs and a sound machine? Yup! Should you stay somewhere else instead? Definitely! I get it's cheap, but you get what you pay for and this place isn't worth much.

This hidden gem winery is tucked away in the beautiful Dry Creek Valley. It is absolutely gorgeous and provides an intimate and elevated experience that is definitely worth experiencing! There is a garden area that overlooks the vineyards that we enjoyed during our food and wine pairing and the views were spectacular. They also have a cave as well as a RTV experience if you are looking for a unique private experience away from it all. The service at this winery is excellent! Some of the tastings are with Mary Roy herself and these experiences are extra special since she is the owner, chef, and winemaker. She is an incredible woman that excels at everything she does. The Hiddenbrooke Hills team went above and beyond on my wedding day!…read more Leading up to the wedding, I was honestly pretty anxious since I had been coordinating with multiple vendors and only had about four meetings with the Wedgewood Hiddenbrooke Hills team about the big day. But to my surprise, both the rehearsal and wedding day were completely stress-free! Christina, Taylor, and the entire team truly took care of me and my loved ones from start to finish. And can I just say -- my guests had so much fun! From the overflowing drinks at the bar, the gorgeous and spacious venue, to the amazing food during cocktail hour and dinner -- everything was absolutely perfect. I honestly couldn't have imagined a better day. Thank you so much, Hiddenbrooke Hills team!

Elite Package Ok…read moreit's a long one but if you're going to invest money anywhere I think it could be helpful to make an informed decision. So overall I think the concept and idea of all inclusive planning is cool and can help ease some wedding planning stresses but throughout, I've explained it (when people ask) as a bunch of companies that have decided to partner to work cohesively but mostly to maintain working relationship. You will need to reach out to each vendor and make appointment with them and meet whether face to face or over zooms but aside from wedgewood.. Same as you would if it were not all inclusive. Again what it does however, is gives you dedicated partners that are working closely on a constant basis... we decided to go with wedgewood because we have 1 year old twins and figured it would be a great fit for our situation. The staff are really friendly and extremely nice. You have a good amount of meetings with Wedgewood(maybe 3 plus a binder pick up so 4), in my opinion not too many, but I'm also local. You go through the run down, multiple times of what to expect, what the steps to come are, and how you'd like your day to look. Planning and coordination The day of, leading up to the ceremony, the day was seamless. Maybe an hour or 30 minutes before the ceremony the officiant meets with us in separate rooms (in my opinion too late in the process to iron over last minute details) I expressed a detail I'd liked altered and he gives me push back, to the point where I have to remind him this is my wedding. Floral Florals were nice, however I asked for only greenery on the tables and there were blooms. Also there were supposed to be guttered petals lining the ceremony isle instead there were 4 bags of petals unopened piled at the start of the isle. When I reached out to wedgewood they expressed the florist did not give them any instruction--but again as stated you have multiple meetings over the course of time and it states plainly in the paperwork that is an element of the ceremony Ceremony As the bride I can only speak to when I entered. But there was some issue with walkie talkies that ultimately delayed my entry. The song I was to enter to (I wanted no more than the first 54 seconds to play) was pretty much done after I was driven about 25mph on the back of a golf cart to the ceremony... hunny the hair is getting thrown all over from the wind, I'm holding on in hopes that I'm not thrown, to show up and my song is almost over. At this point ok we're gonna roll with the punches Officially yours I think the officiant thinks we've all come to see him. I kinda had strange vibes in our meeting but I like to trust that people are able to perform in their expertise maybe better than they can explain. We did ask for prayer in our initial and only meeting but a lot more interpretation was given rather than word. Danville bakery I absolutely loved this bakery, the owner was lovely very accommodating and listened to the things that were important to me. We picked up a tasting box and faxed back our request. Again I'm local so no big deal for me iMobile dj The dj was very good he was familiar with our music genre preferences and sound system was good throughout ceremony and reception. We met via zoom he made sure he understood our preferences and what we expected the day to look like, even provided recommendations Buffet capt I didn't have much a a close interaction with the catering staff. I appreciate them making sure all our small guests were served promptly. Even at the end of the night Vicki made sure the groom and I had food to take with us in case we didn't get a chance to enjoy our food due to the days flow. However the next day a lot of guest said they didn't get cake, and these were guest that don't communicate with each other and also no cake was sent back with us. Per the next day response of our coordinator stated each seat had a slice and there wasn't any left... mmm I dunno Our dedicated coordinator left at the beginning of our reception. Kinda strange but aside from cake issues our reception was fire (we had a really good dj) Overall experience I don't plan to have another wedding but if I could do it again I wouldn't necessarily make this route my first option. Again they are really nice but the actual flow of the ceremony needs more dedication. If there is a rehearsal and multiple meetings where we discuss how the day should look, I expect my day to reflect that. Yea things happen but we (if lucky) only get married once, these businesses function daily and could be a lot more fluid. Maybe don't depend on walkie talkies, maybe keep a copy of the plans on hand and make sure detail are covered. At the end of the night we tipped coordinators, dj, buffet capt, and bar tender. Side note: To be fair I reached out the next day expressed my gratitude and asked for possible resolve. I was replied to the next day (folks get busy) and no accountability was taken.

I'd like to especially call out Jason for communication that was seamless and prompt, making the planning process stress-free. That said, I am huge stress queen! But they were so nice, so kind, and so responsive to me even when I admitted I was maybe panicking for no reason about this or that so I need to shout out that as far as events go, QPP GETS IT. They get that events are supposed to be special, they get what makes an event go from good to GREAT, and they want to help you make it happen. I've rented popcorn and cotton candy machines from them and they are just as nicely taken care of as the folding chairs and tables. I love that! One to share one thing in particular that made me just want to cry with how grateful I was - the hosts I was helping coordinate an event for didn't realize that they had ordered 60" tables (even though it was right there on the invoice and clear - they admitted fully this was their fault for not reading). Jason was able to have his assistant Ruby meet me last minute for extra-large tablecloths when we realized the cloths we had would be too small. On top of that, Jason gave me a great discount even though the issue was totally my or the hosts' fault. That is just one example of superlative service and a company that thinks more about making your event great for you and your guests more than making me pay out the nose for a silly mistake. On top of that, the quality of their equipment and rentals was top-notch, perfect for making any occasion special. Their prices are very reasonable, offering superb value for the quality of the product and service they provide. Local delivery to Benicia was very reasonable and I loved getting a discount for being a repeat customer. Highly recommended!
