Went to an open house for this venue recently, and it definitely doesn't compare to others in the area. The venue overall feels very confused in the identity it wants to have. The outside looks like a vintage office building with metal and glass with little to no signage. There was a small printed poster in the window when we went as the only indication we were in the right place. Then the inside foyer is decorated like a banquet hall with pipe and drape, silk florals, and oddly placed furniture and decor. It felt like they're trying to cover up anything they didn't want to remodel or at the least repaint. Then the venue floors feel like a rustic barn meets banquet hall trying to be an industrial style venue. There's metal artwork, lots of different woods, and then mostly white walls and windows that feel very banquet-like. The bride and groom suites, restrooms, and odd children room in the back of the floors feel very misplaced and underwhelming. White walls, limited furniture and decor, and just seems to be there because they have to be. There's also an odd lounge area beside the bar off the main reception area with black pipe and drape in one of the spaces that feel like it should be closed off and used for storage instead of an extension of the space. The limitations on live music because of other possible events in the building, lackluster kitchen/catering prep space, the shared and outdated elevators between the floors, and the lack of attention to separate events does not lend itself well as a wedding venue. The pricing for the space and the amenities available do not align with that of other venues in the area. The overnight loft the owner and associates try to sell so badly wasn't even worth viewing after seeing the two event spaces. We bumped into another couple in the elevator who were coming from seeing it and leaving the venue and made the comment that girls' college dorms were more put together and welcoming than it was. This venue needs a serious renovation, to have a consistent look and identity, and have branding to match. Just do your homework before signing here, as you might be paying more for less for your event here and have confused or underwhelmed guests along the way. There's plenty of opportunity with this space, but the owner needs to invest the time, energy, and resources to maximize it and better justify the cost. read more
