Actually this day WAS different because this was right around the time when all restaurants stopped serving dine in customers due to COVID-19. As I walked in, all of the tables and chairs were pushed against the wall, which made the room look huge. Staff was friendly and because I was one of two people inside, service was super quick. I ordered for two and got: Ham classic sandwich ($6.69) Turkey classic sandwich ($6.69) Roasted Turkey noodle soup cup ($3.99) One neat thing that I didn't know is any sandwich you choose automatically comes with a bag of chips at no charge to you (or at least they did for me this day), so we also got a bag of chips too. We both took a half of the sandwiches so I was able to try both. The Ham classic was on a croissant and came with lettuce, tomato, swiss, a couple slices of ham and condiments if you want them. This was delicious and it tastes just like you expect Honey baked ham to taste. Considering the price with chips, it's a good deal! The turkey classic sandwich was served on a baker's roll and was dressed the same way as the Ham classic. What we found was the turkey was just as delicious as the Ham, had the same Honey baked flavor, and you really couldn't go wrong with either sandwich! I ate the roasted turkey noodle soup the next day, and this came with big chunks of turkey, carrot, celery and had nice thick noodles. If you get a bowl of this, it is a full meal that is also very flavorful. Honey Baked Ham is at the corner of a little strip off of Lake Spivey parkway. It's right across the street from Kroger for reference. Parking is easy to come by, and while seating was unavailable at the time, when social distancing is a thing of the past, there'll be plenty of spaces to sit. If you like Honey baked ham, or if you just like a great sandwich, I really can't see a reason why you wouldn't stop in here if you were in the area. Check them out!
