I have been a patient of Dr. Houston for over five years, and I can confidently say that her care…read morehas been instrumental in helping me achieve and maintain optimal health. From the very beginning, she took the time to truly listen, understand the root causes of my concerns, and provide a holistic, personalized treatment plan that went far beyond symptom relief. When I came to her, I had most recently experienced THREE emergency room visits for desperately low iron, excessive bleeding (that is now called menopause flooding) and several other very concerning and related ailments. Each time I ended up in the ER, the teams threatened to give me a blood transfusion. My traditional doctor at the time highly recommended hormone therapy, birth control and iron supplements. I was alarmed at these suggestions and felt they were so alien to the gentle, loving & natural healing process my body, mind & health truly needed... I discovered Dr. Houston right after this time and she took an ideal approach that my body has responded to incredibly! Dr. Houston's deep knowledge of naturopathy, combined with her compassionate, intuitive approach, has made a remarkable difference in my overall well-being--physically, emotionally, mentally and energetically. I feel more balanced, more resilient, and more in tune with my body, mind and whole Being than ever before. What I appreciate most is her unwavering dedication, expertise, follow-through, genuine care and prioritization for my long-term health. Right along with you, Dr. Houston creates a design for what is best for you and then holds you accountable. I've even have her give me a sobering talk when my choices were not aligning with the wellness plan that I co-created for my own health. If you're looking for a naturopathic doctor who treats the whole person and is committed to your healing journey, I highly recommend Dr. Houston. After being diagnosed with lung cancer I was referred to Dr. Richard H. Davis as I had made the…read moredecision that chemotherapy was not for me. During my first conversation with Dr. Davis he put my mind at ease regarding treatment options and managed my expectations regarding what to expect and how to communicate my wishes and concerns to my oncologist and internist. That was the first hurdle in my healing as the oncologist refused to work with me if I didn't go with his treatment plan and the internist insinuated that my days were basically number and the chemo and immunotherapy would extend my life so if there was an important event that I wanted to attend maybe the treatment plan would extend my life long enough to make. Needless to say I am no longer a patient of the oncologist. Thanks to Dr. Davis I was emotionally and intellectually prepared for their responses and felt confident that I was making the right choice in taking the naturopathic route. This was early February 2019 I started Dr. Davis' program a little later that month and by late March I was told by my pulmonologist that whatever I was doing to keep on doing it because he's never seen changes like this so quickly and that my condition has improved quite a bit. I shared with him that I was going the holistic route and my pulmonologist replied " I don't know how it works, but I do know that it it works. So keep on ding what you're doing." ...And what I am doing is the program prescribed by Dr. Davis. Thank you Dr. Davis I an eternally grateful. KPolite
