My wife and I arrived on a warm October day to enjoy the pumpkin patch and U-pick flowers. We arrived in the afternoon, but there was plenty of selection and nothing was "picked over." I paid $16 for a quart sized plastic vase for my U-pick flowers. They sell gallon sized buckets as well. Scissors and water are provided. Be mindful of bees in the field. They won't trouble you if you don't trouble them. There is an area in the back for you to arrange the flowers; I took full advantage of this because this trip doubled as a photo shoot. There were all types of people enjoying the farm; IG girls, families, even one couple using a wagon full of pumpkins as a baby announcement. Pumpkins range from $5-$20 each depending on size and breed. A nice young man named Luke helped us corral our pumpkins and carry them to our car. I didn't know they offered that service, but we tipped well. If you run up an appetite, they have a snack bar with fritters, ice cream, and lemonade. I'll be back next fall!

It looks so much like some of the local markets I would visit as a child with my parents and Grandmother, so I was in the midst of all kinds of nostalgia here. The store is quite small, but they weren't kidding...the produce is fresh!! Because it's so small, it can get a little crowded in the aisle, but it all worked out. I went primarily for the corn, and there were only seven ears left. I took six of them and felt kind of bad, but when I was checking out, I heard that more was on the way on the delivery truck. I guess there had been some sort of delay that morning in Atlanta. We also bought some peaches and cherries. Everything tastes so great! The peaches are amazing! I didn't but any this trip, but the tomatoes and peppers looked outstanding! I will be back...going to try coming on a weekday so maybe it's not so cramped inside. Blueberries are also in season, but I stuck with peaches when I was there. You can buy a basket already picked at the roadside stand, or borrow a 5 or 10 gallon bucket and pick your own. (Staff will put them in a box for you to take home.) Easy to get to off of I-75/exit 212. Bring water to drink. There is a bathroom available at the stand.
