We know lots of realtors and had lots of great choices for who could represent us. We ultimately decided on Matt after sitting down with him for a cup of coffee to see how we all gelled. My wife is very easy going and I am very structured, need a lot of contant attention and like to be kept in the loop, in other words I'm high maintenance. We explained what we were looking for in a property and set Matt to the task. We looked at a few places on our own and had Matt show us a few others. The property we ultimately purchased was a "for sale by owner" which many realtors might shy away from for fear of having to work too hard. Matt was stellar and exceeded our expectations every step of the way and did a great job of keeping us in the loop at all times. He team was on top of all the details and worked well with our finance team behind the scenes to make sure the transaction proceeded smoothly. We would highly recommend Matt Haugen to anyone purchasing a home on the coastside.

I did a one star review before and would like to amend my reasoning…read more We and Mathew did have a miscommunication about the appointment day. I misread what he said about the date in question. However, I stand by the one star based and the poor communication from Mathew. We were able to talk to him once on the phone, he did send us some listings. We gave him our thoughts and a long while later he sent us the same listing again with some added. Keep in mind, these were long breaks between each email. We started talking in August. There was a gap of nearly three weeks before we even got the first list. We wrote that we would be in town 10/27-11/6. I had written on the 23rd that we were dealing with a family matter. We then wrote to tell you we were in town and looking forward to meeting with you. We did not hear from you until after the (misunderstood) date we were supposed to meet. You did not cc me on any emails, even after I wrote about the family matter from my email address. So, as far as my rating, I think I will keep it.

Usually the UPS Store boxes and ships back to Amazon for free. The employee could have politely told me this and perhaps even made an exception. Instead they created a dissatisfied customer who won't be back. I just went to the UPS Store in Pacifica they said it would be no problem and no cost to put 2 pieces of tape on the box for me. They were very polite! HMB store not even common courtesy of,"Hello how can i help you?" just stood there until I mentionedI i had an Amazon return. Guess which location gets my business and recommendation from now on.

So, I had some papers to bring in and send to an email for our family business, and marc was for the most part fine, expect at the end when he asked if I need another copy, I was pretty much confused so I said yes, so he rolled his eyes and preceded to make another copy. Then when paying, he said "press here to not donate to charity" which is basically like skipping that step, and when I didn't say anything he rudely said it again. Honestly, I understand that work sucks and that sometimes you're in a bad mood, but you should NOT be taking it out on the customers. From now on, I'm gonna go to the San Mateo UPS Store instead.

I've spent a large amount of my career being trained & paid to assess Preschool Environments with…read morethe ECERS, DRDP & NAEYC Accreditation standards. So naturally, when it came to finding a preschool for my daughter when we moved to HMB, I was very particular in what I was looking for. I visited a few preschools in the area that made me shudder. I visited some that were pretty decent. But CCP-HMB Preschool was by far above the rest in meeting my standards. There are things that I still wish were different- i.e. the lack of grass/garden/nature outdoors but I think this school does what they can to make up for the mostly asphalt playground. Highlights that made me enroll my daughter: Small classroom ratios*interactive teachers*efforts made to do regular field trips to the library, downtown, feed & fuel, etc* Music class with John* Ample supervision with bathrooms & classrooms close to each other* lots of art & math supplies * professionalism of the greater CCP organization* Efforts made to have bilingual staff* an understanding of and efforts made to implement the ECERS/DRDP & NAEYC Accreditation standards.

My daughter is a preschooler here and has really enjoyed her teachers and new friends…read more I really needed fulltime care for her and it was great to know that they accepted 2.5year olds and were going to help me potty train her too. That was such a relief to me as I wasn't going to force my daughter to be diaper-free before she was ready... but at the same time, I needed her to go to preschool. I was surprised at how much they do for the children. It wasn't immediately known to me all the activities that the kids do during the day. They do many art projects, zoophonics, healthy habits, yoga, walks around town, trips to the library etc. Wish I'd known this before, it would have made the selection a no-brainer. The teachers are very nurturing and caring. My daughter just loves her school and I'm very happy she's there and that they do a wonderful job. The peace of mind this gives me makes all the difference.
