Alumni here! I have been coming to The Haunting Experience annually for many years to celebrate fall, my birthday, October, etc. and have always loved the setup and familiarity. While I have so many old pictures from 2011-2016, I will refrain from going back into the archives. Rather, I will speak towards my most recent 2025 visit as it's been a blast seeing the transformation. Pros: free easy parking, tickets can be purchased online with options for fast passes (a touch more expensive) which skip the line. Very well oiled staff who understand the importance of parking assistance, ticket services, line movement, hayride safety rules, concession stands, etc. Fun ambiance - giant chair to take photos in, gift shop, spooky fun music, concessions, and weekend beer garden. Variety - main process is to attend both a haunted house and hayride. You do have the option to do less or skip one (some people are fearful of 1 vs. the other) My biggest giggle is now that I'm older, I'm not as afraid. When I was younger, I used to think the Hayride was so scary but as time has passed, it was more laughable this year. I appreciate the efforts but everything was so predictable and the chainsaw skit hasn't changed (I don't want it to either - just repeated acting). Thank you to the staff, actors, actresses, etc. who keeps this running year over year! It's truly historic and nostalgic for me. I look forward to next year in 2026. Happy spooky season! read more

This was 9/10. The Haunted house was a blast and super scary to us. It was the perfect amount of scare! A girl in front of us was too scared and they let her out a side door so there is a way out if you don't like it! I gave it a 9 because the hayride wasn't as scary. Loved the set ups but they could have used more actors. There are different ticket options- 1. general admission (GA) haunted house and hayride 2. Fast lane- both with faster lines 3. VIP- Haunted house, hayride and Massacre (where they can touch you and it's in a corn field) plus shorter lines! We did GA and didn't wait too long. I thought the price was reasonable! It's also cheaper to buy online. We got there at 6:30pm so the lines weren't long and didn't have to wait. Highly recommend! It got really busy around 8pm. They have concessions, food trucks and everything is affordable. I attached pics of food options and pricing. **They only serve alcohol on Fridays and Saturdays** Plenty of porta potties and parking - parking is free! There were the cutest goats you can pet, pumpkins, mums and a cute store you can find decor, jams, etc. There was a psychic reader booth but they weren't there when we were there. $20 for a reading We talked to one of the owners. He was very nice and you could tell he enjoyed his job! All of the staff were nice! Next year is their 40th year so he said they are going to make it extra special! Very good, especially the haunted house! My friends and I got fast pass tickets for both the hayride and the haunted house on a Friday night in mid-October. There was a nice crowd but we were able to hop onto a hayride truck right away. It was mostly average - it suffers a bit from being so close to the highway. But there was one particularly... "cinematic" moment that definitely sets it apart! I thought the haunted house was outstanding. Lots of really creative scares in there. Not as extensive as Dead End Hayride but they really manage a lot with more limited space. We had to wait about ten minutes to get in even with the fast pass, so I bet the wait is quite long otherwise. But! This is because they let people through with a lot of space between them, and that makes it scarier. It's a good thing... but you kind of definitely want the fast pass. There is a main snack bar, plus there were some food trucks that had alcohol and other treats. Also there is a gift shop that is probably a year-round store with a lot of cute craftsy things, and that's where you can get some very good ice cream cones. I like it, I'll be back! read more

I took my 12-year-old son and we had a blast. The haunted house was great. One of the actresses specifically was amazing. The hay ride wasn't so scary. Everyone on the ride was actually laughing. Super disorganized. The haunted house line took 95 minutes and the hayride took 45. If I am going to spend $105 for 3 people, I want to spend more time doing things than standing In slow lines. Not worth it at all. read more

Got here early when they opened Thursday.....didn't matter. I've been many years and it's l never taken this long. Getting here early doesn't matter, only the fast pass does. DONT do general admission. An hour and a half or more waiting just for the hayride is ridiculous. Do better. Haunted house was way worse than years past, many actors are lazy. This attraction is for 13yrs and younger. It wasnt scary and you can barely see the props. The props were small and whole experience was lacking excitement. It went so fast once u wait after 30mins in line. read more

I am the biggest scaredy cat there is, so the anticipation of this experience was terrifying me! My fiance had never been on a haunted hayride and had never been in a true haunted house before, so I thought I would have the be the strong one! :-D We were advised to ride the hayride first - it was a great warm-up! So many surprises along the way, it was fun! And then the haunted house... It. was. scary. So much adrenaline ran through me, I felt like a ran a marathon afterwards! Overall great experience and we got the thrills and chills we were seeking! I want to go back to check out the live music before the end of the season since we didn't get a chance the night we went. Took my daughters whole 12U softball team here along with coaches and the team had a blast!! Some of the girls were very very scared in the haunted house & they did a great job of getting them out right away when they saw the tears & terror on their faces. This was a great team bonding experience & highly recommend. I hate all things scary but was entertained even though I was scared out of my mind. The Hayride was really long which was awesome so you really get your money's worth! I personally thought the corn maze was terrifying because it was pitch black out there. Want to give a huge shout out to the owner--I had bought the wrong tickets online and he was so accommodating to our group to fix my mistake. The concession stand was great & they let me start a tab because we had groups coming out of the haunted house at different times. Highly recommend!!! If you have a team I highly suggest this as a team bonding/break the ice thing to do because we had girls hugging each other, holding hands really looking out for each other making sure they were okay. How is this place even open still? $20 and an hour+ in line for literally 8 minutes of shooting paintball pellets (that don't even open and go splat) at 6 zombies? A fun experience for a haunted house but they charge way too much (~$19) and from year to year it is predictable as to what they will incorporate into their scares. I do appreciate the activities that they have after going through the haunted attraction. My favorite part of going is always the hayride. read more

Went here for the Big Zombie Paintball experience found off of Groupon ($20 for two ppl - 100 paint pellets each). Purchased a "fast pass" for an add'l $5 each person but STILL had to wait an HOUR in line. Ride must've last 9 minutes with only 5 zombies to shoot at and we weren't even given 100 paint pellets, it was more like 50 pellets. Such a disappointment and a waste of time. I had more fun going to Applebee's. Do not waste your time! read more

Zombie Corn Maze was very disappointing. No zombies, just 6 placards with zombie movies on them to answer the questions. The website is misleading. Also, corn stalks were short, I could see over half of it. Big Zombie Hunter was okay but brief and not scary. read more

Haunting Experience is a very food seasonal setup, I was not expecting such a good experience in converted greenhouses. A decent variety of scares and a focus on customer experience rather than throughput. My group did not encountered the group ahead or behind us at any point. The haunted house exits to a waiting area for a hayride, this was the best hayride haunt I have encountered. Zombie paintball is not the best it could be but it has an attractive price point and is a nice addition to the haunt, I would not go exclusively for this. read more

I had a groupon for it so it came with the haunted house (it says three but the first two are more like rooms than houses), the hayride (without hay; I would recommend that you have someone who can tell stories the whole way through the ride), and hot dogs. I suppose it was worth it. I would never pay the full price though. read more

So I figured I go half on this one for one reason. The zombie paintball was a complete waste of money. The haunted house portion of the experience was fantastic! Really nice decor and great people to act. It left my wife clutching my arm until it was losing feeling. The zombie paintball was 15 dollars, which is a complete waste of time and money. I asked how many shots we were allowed and the supervisor said that we got 100 shots. I counted my shots and I only has 34 shots and they weren't even paintballs, they were hard plastic balls that really should not be fired out of a standard tippman. I watched my wife's gun constantly spraying paint because the balls kept getting broken when fired. And the balls that did manage to come out did nothing but bounce off everything because of the hard plastic shell. After what seemed no more than 10 minutes the whole thing was over. Next year either make the zombie paintball course longer with more legitimate paintballs, or simply reduce the price so no one feels like they were robbed blindly. read more
