We arrived later in the evening around 7:45 pm and had to wait in line for about a half hour. Since it's a Sunday evening I'd imagine the line length might be a little longer on a Friday or Saturday evening. The Haunted house itself takes about a good half hour to get through and has A LOT of different features throughout. Overall the makeup, staging, and props are very well done and the staff was very professional. Definitely recommend for older kids if you're considering bringing them along, might be too scary for a younger crew. Overall great option in Pittsburgh for a SCARY fun night out as the Halloween season is upon US!

When it was time to exit the hayride, I lost a gemstone ring as I was brushing off hay. The staff pitched in with flashlights and helped search. The hardest part was actually finding your way out, and we did this during the day, I have a hunch that the real fun is at night. They have flashlights for rent, and on top of finding the stamps, I think it gets pretty spooky in there. The kids were loving the haunted hayrides during the daylight though, so they seemed to have found a good balance between frightening and fun. They had little fair games, pumpkins for carving and your typical concessions-the corn sling shot was the best...and we were lucky enough to be there for a zombie flash mob done by what must have been an all ages dance class, very cute. Not a lot for the adults to do/look at while the kids are running around except sit by the fire pit and sip cider, but there are worse things!

The petting zoo, horse rides, and concession stand were also great. The haunted house and maze are much more elaborate than we expected, and we were very impressed. Even in daylight there was a wide variety of decorations and effects in the haunted house, and the atmosphere was great. The maze also had decorations, including some which were quite grandiose. Both the house and the maze also had tunnels. Not just ordinary tunnels, either. You'll have to visit to see what I mean! There were some additional surprises, too. I won't elaborate -- go check them out! Although we visited in the daytime, we could also imagine some of the additional awesomeness nightfall would bring. The staff was all friendly and seemed to care about giving every visitor a great experience. I would definitely like to go back for the actual haunted version of this attraction. We will also likely visit again next year on a No Scare Sunday. Our visit was memorable, and the low prices made it a great value, too. We stayed almost the entire four hours it was open, and I think many families would do the same.

It's sad it can take one person to wreck people from going back to an event. The owner also needs to have the tours go down to where the vendors are. I have heard complaints some hardly get anyone in their room because they don't have the tours go down the vendor hall. Haunted Hill View Manor is a cool place, from what I understand. It's just disappointing the owner wouldn't talk to the others, who were blackballed by Stacia.

The only entertainment was the painfully awkward dialogue of the actors, and the entire experience was not scary at all. The challenges did not make sense and were not interesting. The grave digger challenge involved lasers that "used to be blue but now are red because of the blood." Yes, it is truly this ridiculous. The entire experience was laughable and a waste of money. The challenge trail was nightmarish, but not in the way intended.

There are some scary things along the short hayride, but then you get off and do the walk through part. 2.) if you are sensitive to strobe lights there are MANY throughout the corn maze part. 3.) buy your tickets online in advance and save yourself from waiting in a the much longer line to purchase them there. It would be worth the wait, regardless, but if you have a fidgety kid purchasing online in advance will be a big help. 4.) bottom floor of the main barn consists of the concession stand, chairs and tables to sit and eat at and the restrooms. Top floor had pumpkins, Indian corn, cornstalks and a few vendors. Nice selection of pumpkins; we bought a 45 lb one! (P.S. they take cash and cards.) This was our first year going to Cheeseman's and we plan to return every single year going forward
